VKI Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

Was an ok experience tonight. Nothing spectacular or amazing for a hibachi restaurant. Was a little unimpressed with the Lovers Roll. Maybe next time a better experience. Service was a little rushed

Had a fun luncheon with the ladies at VKI. The food was very good and of course the service was so much fun. I had the steak and scallops hibachi and most of the group enjoyed similar choices. Will be back soon for dinner! Lunch came with soup, salad, and choice of noodles or rice.

Located in Sumter landing and plenty of seating. Delicious hibachi but most of the cooks aren't big on entertainment. What I care about is the food so it's my go to place. I got the shrimp and scallops and my husband got the steak and shrimp with chicken.$70 for us for lunch is a hefty price but we left stuffed

I was very excited to have the GF option and be able to eat here. The staff made sure the chef knew I was GF. Since I am not celiac, having it prepared on the same grill as the rest of the meals was not an option for me.

Stopped in with reservations for a group of 9 people for a hibachi meal. Kids order special kids meals. Adults all ordered different hibachi protein choices. Assigned chef appeared and did a few spatula knife tricks and proceeded to cook. Waitress brought out salad and broth soup together. As chef cooked tried to engage a few of us with saki stream and such continued cooking food in front of us all. The problem with hibachi is the food is spread out. Fried rice cooked first and the served on each plate. Then protein of choice finished cooking and served, vegetables served last. If you waited for all on your plate the rice is cold. Almost all food was over salted and required copious amounts of water to drink during and well after the meal. Going to be a while for us to go here again

VKI is more than just a meal--it's an experience. The combination of delicious food, fun presentation, and top-notch service makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. The interior is a simple and chill atmosphere. Food is flavorful - a bit too salty for certain items. Only thing I believe needs improvement is lighting and layout. Parking isn't the greatest as well. If you're in the area - it's a pretty good place to visit.

Disappointed as this place came highly recommended. as soon as I walked in the door, it seemed dirty to me there were cobwebs all over the light fixtures. There was food on the floor. The carpet needed a good cleaning when we sat down at the hibachi table. You could see that wipe marks all over the hibachi from when they used a yucky rag to wipe it clean it was not clean.The food itself was mediocre. The chef was not your typical hibachi chef. He wasn't very entertaining. He seemed to be going through the motions. I would not recommend

I love hibachi i always go during lunch and get the steak The chefs are so professional and it is clean. I like to walk around the Lake sumter square when i am done eating.

Family dinner Saturday on 1/25/25 - Everything was good; Food, Service, Prices....Definitely will visit again when back in the area

This is amazing place to eat. We visited here in December with our son and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and friendly. The prices are reasonable.
