After a long day of going on rides and walking around, we were struggling to find a restaurant that could accommodate our family. We ended up finding this restaurant and got seated immediately.Service was good and waited on our large table very well. I got the sausage ragu (pictured)! It was actually pretty good and I would definitely get it again. Bread is also addictive and very good!

After a long day at Universal, this was a great find! They did not have any tables open due to a group of 45 coming in (!!) but we got a spot at the bar. The bartenders were great and the service felt even faster. I got a glass of wine and my boyfriend got a limoncello spritz and we were happy with our drinks. They brought out bread first and even had gluten free bread I could have! It was amazing! For dinner, I got a pasta dish and they were able to sub out the pasta for gluten free. I liked the dish and thought the flavor was good.Didn't save any room for dessert because of the bread! This had a fabulous date-night ambiance with quality food and service, but there were kids everywhere (even at the bar) which brought the vibe down a notch.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner after a long day at the park. We did have a reservation, so we did not wait. We started with warm bread and we ordered the fried ricotta appetizer. The bread was good, but I feel it was missing something. No butter was brought out. There was a bottle of EVOO on the table, which I poured out on a little plate. Seasoned EVOO would've complimented the warm bread a lot more! The fried ricotta balls were delicious! Soft, creamy and flavorful. We ended up dipping our bread in the sauce that came with it. For my meal I had Trottole. It was trottole pasta, house-made fennel sausage meatballs, broccolini, red pepper flakes, oven-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, Romano cheese. Very good! Also, their pasta is made in-house! You can taste the difference! My boyfriend had the Ossobuco and he really enjoyed. We would absolutely come back when we vacation again.

Visited VIVO for the first time last night for a birthday party! Located in the CityWalk area of Universal Studios, this beautiful restaurant is a great place for an authentic Italian experience. The food was fresh, the pasta is made in-house, and the wine was delicious. Even after a mixup with our group's reservation, they did their best to make sure we were all seated together in a section. My only CON is that our section was right next to the kitchen and if you sit there you will be smelling like food by the time you leave because the ventilation isn't great back there. I had the Meatballs and Chicken Picatta. The Meatballs were "okay" to be honest. Was hoping for more flavor there. However, the Chicken Picatta was EXCELLENT So good! The lemon and capers brought out so much flavor and it was perfect for the dish.

We had a nice meal at Vivo. I came here with my partner as a celebration dinner after finishing the Dopey Challenge. We thought the food was okay - nothing particularly special. However, the real takeaway and reason for my rating is how amazing the staff was. Every person we talked to was super friendly and seemed genuinely interested to talk with us. We would return because of this.

My husband and I came here on a Sunday night after going to Halloween Horror Nights. We didn't have a reservation going into the event. I was shocked that we were able to get a reservation for dinner around 8:30. The restaurant was packed and we were seated at a high top near the bar. The waiter was great. They give complementary bread which was delicious dipped in the sauce that came with my chicken ravioli. All of my husband's food was very good and we were not able to eat everything so we took some home for the next day lunch.

Vivo was my top restaurant to try this past trip and it was both everything I wanted to be and fantastic while my meal wound up being a bit disappointing somehow. The restaurant itself is beautiful and our server was fantastic. I had the gnocchi which felt almost a little dry to me while still being tasty. Just not entirely what I expected it to be. My husband had the linguine and clams. And he was so excited. THERE WAS SO MANY CLAMS. we probably talked about how many clams were in his dish for a good portion of the meal he was so happy. Overall we would definitely return here I would just order something different.

Our family came here to celebrate a child's birthday. I reserved a table in advance, though it didn't seem like there would have been any trouble getting seated. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess. The restaurant offers house-made fresh pasta and a good variety of wines. As for the food, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. I'd say it's slightly overpriced for what you get.We brought our own cake for the birthday, and the restaurant manager politely agreed to store it in the fridge until the end of our meal. However, due to their policies, they couldn't handle outside food, so we had to put the candles on and cut the cake ourselves at the table.

Located in Universal's City Walk, this is a bustling italian spot. We were there on a Friday evening, after the Christmas parade, and the wait seemed excessive - but we were able to snag three seats at the bar almost immediately. We enjoyed fried ricotta (decadent and creamy!), a caesar salad, and I had the linguine and clams. My mother in law also says this is the best chicken parm in the Orlando area! They also serve warm, fresh-baked bread and olive oil to start. Finally, while we didn't try them, the pizzas we saw coming out of the kitchen looked so, so good! The service was great and, even for how busy it was, our food came out quickly. If you are in the area and craving italian, I would definitely recommend Vivo!

Vivo is HANDS DOWN the best restaurant at Universal Citywalk. Yeah, there's probably a wait, but, you can add a reservation on the app - which is highly recommended (there's also a small bar, but it's often full for dinner). The have a full bar, extensive wine list, and a great menu of Italian classics. Clearly, they begin with an awesome bread service...don't forget the balsamic to add with the provided oil. I've been so many times that I've tried more things than I remember. I'm not sure I have a favorite, because everything is good...for first timers, maybe grab the short rib and avoid the meatball (its good, just basic). I also love the white wine sauce...I'm torn, just go more than once and get everything!
