Villaggio Restaurant

We ended up here due to an unfortunate turn of events. We did not want to dine at Disney or Disney springs. We called ahead, and although located in a gated community, we thought this evening was heading downhill. That was until we entered the restaurant, it was eerie, a little too quiet on a Friday evening at 7pm to be quiet... Menu is limited, but they have everything you want when it comes to Italian, with options to customize your dish. We were waited on by Fabio, who allowed me to Vivino the wine. We ordered the kids spaghetti and tomato sauce, my wife and I ordered the fettuccine bolognese, and calamari. It was excellent.To drink we ordered the Lexicon cab 2020. Very surprised to see that they minimally mark up there wine. Strongly recommend coming here to avoid Disney and the Olive Garden vibe... this place has great food at a respectable place. Eat here, then head to Disney!

This is easily the worst restaurant I have been to in the area. When we were seated we were immediately given a lukewarm warm bowl of French fries. The pizza is stale but plentiful, the ravioli was freezer burnt. The dessert pizza was dusted in nonfat dry milk. absolute garbage, and they charge 30.00/person.You're sure to feel bloated and sick when you leave

This place used be to be great. We went there plenty of times and ordered there in several occasions. This year, we notice the decline in the quality and we still ordered there at least four times hoping the terrible pizza was a "one time" thing and today we finally gave up. Talking about going down hill. Pizza is terrible, crust is overcooked and ingredients poorly placed, poorly chopped and not fresh. Too bad. Another great place that has gone bad.

We arrived at this place with high expectations. As we arrived, it took about 15 minutes for someone to show up and ask if we want to order drinks. The food was average and the service was horrible. The waiter was extremely rude. Don't waste your money.

Great restaurant tucked away in a hotel. The food was fantastic. We had the beef ribs, steak and trout. All were great, portions were generous. Beef ribs were the standout for me. Ribs were super tender and flavorful. The creamy polenta and pesto went really well with the ribs. Desserts were likewise great and big enough to share. We had the tiramisu, key lime cheesecake mousse and crème brûlée. The key lime mousse was amazing, made with a shot of Brazilian cachaca. Our server was great, just the right amount of attentiveness.

I'm not going to lie, getting into this spot is tricky. First its located inside a resort that has a gate that you need access to. I had to call to get access to the gate code...heads up code was 0000 that night we went. Kinda annoyed us that we weren't told in advance. So its located at the main entrance which is also the facility pool area.Once inside we advised we made reservations for outside. It was a little chilly this night but we were prepared. It took about damn near 15 mins before anyone came to check on us and take drink orders. We looked at the menu and ordered away. For starters we had the salmon carpaccio which was to die for and I could've had 3 orders of this to myself! We were given complimentary warm bread which was perfect for a cool night Now due to some dietary restrictions I was limited on options but chose the vegan dish. Although it didnt look appealing it was actually really good. There were fava beans, portable shrooms, and potatoes. All were seasoned well and I actually enjoyed this dish. Other plates on the table were spaghetti with marinara ( the marinara was filled with robust spices and herbs), spaghetti bolognese (meat sauce was perfect), the scallops (seared to perfection), a cheese pizza (try the pizza..this alone was worth all the headache) and the short rib meat was tender and juicy and then steak and fries. There were no complaints about either of the dishes and everyone was happy. Full bellies are happy bellies.Sitting outside we had the view of the lit up pool which was nice and since we were outside it was like our own private VIP area. So besides the headache of the earlier mishaps, the food and atmosphere was worth it.

Don't try to improve, but close this place!The staff was literally on their phones the whole night that we were there, the "hosts" was sitting outside on the sofa to be in her phone.The food was ok, but not even close to be considering coming back for it.That place was empty, no wondering why!

Terrible experience. Hosts can't even handle the reservations properly, the restaurant was nearly empty and they were acting like they were serving VIP's only or some shit when we had made a whole reservation the day prior to. Terrible spot, terrible service and it's sad to see that the management is allowing this to happen. We walked out and we recommend anyone else that's dealing with that issue to do the same!

if I could select zero I would... Horrible customer service... We got there and they had plenty of open tables, we were mistreated by the person at front and we had to wait another 20 minutes for a table. we got to our table, two people were not going to have the all you can eat, asked if they had other options, server was extremely rude... we walked out/.. I will never go back... there are other nice restaurants to go instead of this ...

This restaurant is longer using the advertised menu. It now has only a few items served in all you can eat style. We we looking for a nice meal so we didn't bother trying anything.
