Food: OH YES! I absolutely loved all of the food I got here. Perfectly seasoned, came out extremely fast on one of their busiest nights, well presented! SO yummy. We got the dip trio (a must- queso is ON POINT, guac is traditional, and the corn dip was surprisingly amazing). We also tried the carnitas tacos. WOW! So good. The DRINKS! Whew. Loved the drinks. You will only need one. They are strong and taste great. Service: They are fast, polite, and make amazing food and drinks. Ambiance: I was there on a Saturday. I lived down in south Florida for awhile and this really reminded me of that (without the traffic lol). Loud, fun, Spanish music, good vibes! If with a date you want to talk to a lot, go on weekday so it isn't as loud. If you are with friends and want a bit more of the party vibe, go on the weekend. So fun!

I had high hopes but none were met. The entire experience was a fail from start to finish. Upon entering, neither hostess greeted us warmly. It took almost 10 minutes to be approached by anyone. When the server arrived, I asked about happy hour and she laughed and said they didn't have one. We were then told to view the menu via a code on our phones. The menu had zero pictures and made it more difficult to decide. The menu was limited and not many options. We were sat at a mini table and it was so wobbly that every time either of us bent forward or back, the drinks would spill. We mentioned it to the waiter and they didn't care. We ordered and was expecting chips and salsa but apparently they are not complimentary here. The food was delivered and we informed the person dropping the food off we were missing silverware. We waited and waited....hoping to see anyone.....it took almost 10 minutes to get any by then the mediocre food was cold. When we informed the waitress, her response was, oh he doesn't speak English. (Mind you my fiancé is 100% Hispanic and Spanish is his first language) no apologies just excuses. The chile relleno wasn't even fried! The 3 combo fajita platter came with 3 tiny street size tortillas. We asked for additional ones and couldn't believe we were charged almost $3 for a couple more!!! This place really needs to focus more on the customer dining service. But apparently they are busy so don't really care. Such a shame. Will not revisit

Went out for a Galentine's dinner. It was great. This was our first time here and we will be back. There was about a 25 min wait to be seated. Vivi, our server, was attentive and we didn't feel rushed and were able to enjoy our time and food together. The food was amazing. The had the trip as an appetizer and tres leche as dessert. The cake was very moist and delicious. The restaurant was busy but the decor was beautiful and the bathrooms were clean and pretty. Perfect night out.

I was searching for some great Mexican food and I can safely say "I've found the perfect place" I came on a Friday Night, it was packed and loud, however they sat us down after about 10mins. Loved the vibes here, but if you done like loud atmosphere choose another restaurant. The chips and Salsa were really good, we added Guacamole and it was delicious! I ordered the Steak Fajita with rice and black beans, also came with tortillas. The Steak was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked, I don't think I needed a steak knife since the Steak was so tender...DELICIOUS! I had a couple Margaritas also really good! Our Waiter provided great service even with the busy Restaurant.

Decent experience here at Vida Cocina. Went on a Tuesday night and it was quite busy! It's very interesting vibes in there, it just reminds me of Miami honestly! The music is loud and bumpin and if it's your birthday, they come out with a sparkler and a light up Instagram frame like a club lol.The decor is fun and tropical. The enchiladas were ok, not my favorite. The tortillas fell apart easily. We liked the barria empanadas and the queso dip was delicious. The chips come out in a flower pot. Overall it was good, but wouldn't be my first choice to come back for Mexican type food personally!

This place is gorgeous, love the contemporary twist on traditional Mexican decor. The food is even as good as everything looks :OWe walked in on a weekday afternoon and were seated immediately. Service is courteous & professional. Our dishes were served within 10 mins of ordering.AGUACHILE MANGO: Huge portions, heavy on prawns. Probably best to share with 4 people. Spicy, sweet, and savory-- loved the prawns with mangoSANTO TRIO: Worth the hype. The esquites is to die for. Be wary, these are SUPER filling and so easy to down alongside a boatload of chips (that they replenish endlessly...). By the time our entrees came out, I tapped out and had to get a box after a few bites LOL.ENCHILADAS TOMATILLO VERDE: The few bites I got were awesome :D Super flavorful, fresh, and well-balanced. They were even better when I reheated them later in the night lolSo impressed by everything from start to finish. And very reasonable prices for high quality fare. Definitely a top Mexican restaurant in Orlando.

This is my second visit to Vida. The first time was right after they opened. The food we had today was really good. My table ordered the corn as a appetizer. You get complimentary chips and salsa if you order a appetizer. I appreciate a restaurant that will serve the corn off the cob. Far more enjoyable experience in my opinion. For the main course my daughter ordered the shrimp tempura sushi. She said that it was really good though the sauce that accompanied the meal was watered down tasting. My husband ordered the steak chimichanga which he enjoyed with all the accompaniments. My meal was the pork Carnitas chimichanga. The meat was cooked perfectly. I love that the chimichanga only had the pork inside. Some places add beans and it takes away from the flavor. Instead of rice I requested black beans. The service went well this time. Our wait staff checked in but didn't hover. We were allowed to enjoy a leisurely meal. The restaurant has what I consider club music playing. Along with all the conversations plus the music it can be a little loud. Over all a nice experience. Our party of three was a walk up and we were able to be seated right away.
