Urban on Plant Kitchen & Bar

This was a solid spot and I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Winter Garden area. We stopped in after the Farmers Market because the wait was decent and it was ultimately, a pleasant surprise. We asked for outside seating (the day was beautiful) and received something in a nice shaded area that still received good sunlight towards the side of the building. It was great because that section doesn't get a lot of foot traffic, so it wasn't super chaotic. The staff was incredibly nice and super attentive. We ordered the Teriyaki Salmon rolls to start and they were phenomenal. Very flavorful and they didn't taste like they were frozen in a freezer. We loved how fresh it felt. For entrees, we ordered the Breakfast Burger and the Shrimp and Grits. The Burger had good flavor and was tasty but just a bit overcooked. The shrimp and grits were incredibly flavorful and super filling! The portions were really good for the price points. Overall, I would definitely go back and highly recommend!

Love the ambiance in this restaurant. Intimate setting yet a lot of natural light. Rachel was our server and she was so personable and helpful! The food was delicious as well with very generous portions!

Been here a few times for drinks but never for brunch! We decided to stop in after the farmers market on a Saturday and luckily were able to sit relatively quick.We ordered the sangria pitcher for $24 and were able to get about 4 glasses out of it! It was slightly sweet and fruity, but not overly sweet - just how I like it. We both ordered a chicken dish for entrees lol. For him - the Chicken Sammy. A fried chicken breast between two waffle "buns" and a honey drizzle. It was pretty basic, wish there was more to the sandwhich, but I will say the chicken was really good.For me - the Mother Clucker. Fried chicken, slaw, pickles, and a spicy sauce with a sesame bun. My only complaint - the bun wasn't toasted. :( feel like it could have really pulled it all together if it was. But! It was a little spicy. So if that's not your thing, don't get the sauce it comes with. It came with a side of kettle chips, but they definitely needed some sort of aioli for dipping them into. They were a little unseasoned, it just needed a littttle something more. Overall, the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. Would recommend stopping in and giving them a try!

We went down for dinner on Saturday evening around 7 o'clock after it had rained. The location was fairly quiet, but it definitely picked up once the rain passed. We were seated right away without a reservation. We did notice there were several large parties that did come through. My husband ordered the pork chop and I ordered the chicken salad wrap. My husband said the pork chop was okay. He said that it lacked seasoning a little bit, but the vegetables that came with it were good.Service as great! Very attentive! My chicken salad wrap was very large. Easily enough for someone to eat one half for dinner and take the other half for lunch the next day. The chicken was nice and tender. I will say I felt that it lacked seasoning. I was wanting a little bit more sweetness, maybe some cranberries or something but it just kind of lacked flavor. I did change out the salad that comes with it and got chips instead and I really do like their chips. I just wish again there was a little bit more seasoning on them.

What a great lunch! My family and I enjoyed our lunches. The food here is fresh and high quality. The tuna tacos are loaded with fresh fish. The Bulgogi tacos are tender and tasty. Try the chips, wings, or salads. They are all delicious. The bartender is terrific. Urban serves several varieties of beer and wine, as well as housemade cocktails. Urban on Plant is in a historic building and has lots of historic charm. We've been here more than once and the experience is always the the same. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Old Winter Garden because they use locally sourced ingredients and their menu changes seasonally. I absolutely love the urban salad! It has golden raisins, sunflower seeds, goat cheese, and honey vinaigrette. YUM. I like to order it with the salmon because it's juicy and crispy at the same time.The menu prices match the quality and quantity of the food. I've never had a bad experience with their food, and I almost always have leftovers.The service and ambiance are both 10/10. All servers go the extra mile to make it a good experience. Their comfortable booths and dim lights make it a really cozy place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Definitely recommend.

Would give 0 stars if allowed. Will never attempt to go back. Went in on a Monday evening for drinks and apps, as a party of 6, at 5p. The bar was full, 1 person sitting g at a hightop that seats 10. After waiting g 5 minutes to be acknowledged by a host or anyone, we asked to sit at the hightop. The hostess or manager then proceeds to tell us there was not enough seats for all 6, "they took 2 seats away, it can only accommodate 4". We look over and there are 10 stools at the long hightop! Not only does she lie, but then says "give me 10 minutes to add the seats back". Every time I go in there it's something with them, from "we close in 30 minutes so we can't serve you" to "we're on a 40 minute wait" when the restaurant is empty. They pick and choose who and when they want to serve ppl. Seriously not sure how they're still in business. Done trying, and will take our money somewhere elsePretty hard to support local of local doesn't want to serve you

A little bit on the pricier side, but drinks are good and strong. Shout out to our bartender, Katrina who made one of the best espresso martinis that I've had in a while! Their urban mule is delicious too. Come to find out, they use fig vodka and it has hints of bubble gum!

Wholly deliciousness Batman! From the tasty espresso martini to the turkey club and greek salad to the mushroom soup! The service was amazing and the manager was kind and attentive. Cute atmosphere for adults with a warm farm feel. I felt bad getting a turkey club bc you can get those anywhere, but the menu had so many choices I just went for it. The turkey was tasty and I'm fairly certain was just cut right off the bird! And the best part was the bill: 2 adults with full meals, 2 beers, an appetizer and a soup was only $55!!
