Twistee Treat - Curry Ford

Although quite busy every time I visit, they have smooth and seamless service. Pick up at the drive through or sit down and enjoy your treat. Our go to ice cream spot!

Think of Twistee Treat as the Kelly's Homemade and Jeremiah's Ice of soft served. Even cooler they are throughout Florida. I never knew anything about Twistee Treat until I went to St Pete and realized it's a Floridian commodity.It's creamy and you can customize to your desire. My personal favorite is their Dip Cones, hubby loves the banana splits, and the little human is a purest and goes for the swirl. Even better the price is jaw dropping........ oh my gosh.This location has outside seating and the friendliest staff!! I'm still bummed the one in Winter Park closed but don't mind the small drive to the several other convenient locations!

I was craving soft serve on a Saturday and was so glad to find this Twistee Treats location so close to my house! My boyfriend, myself, and my dog all took a little field trip to this drive thru and have discovered our new fav dessert spot. They offer seating outside but the drive thru was so convenient considering we were in the middle of a movie day at home. The server at the window was friendly and patient with us deciding our order. The drive thru was super quick and kept moving. I ordered the banana split with everything on it. It was so delicious and I couldn't wait to get home I finished like 1/4 of it on the drive home! My boyfriend said his ice cream topped with Gummy bears, cookie cough, and sprinkles was the best ice cream he's had in a while. Even my dog devoured half of his generously sized pup cup before we reached the house. This ended up being LUNCH yesterday and we were satisfied with this cheat day choice. Will return for more dessert craving days like this with the family.

Look for the building that looks like a giant ice cream cone and you have arrived at Twistee Treat. This particular location is in the front part of a Publix shopping mall, next to a Graffiti Junktion.Try the pistachio, it is one of my favorite ice creams that they have, but honestly you cannot go wrong here.

An easy way to enjoy soft serve ice cream. Especially since we live in Florida and summers get really hot, this is a great way to escape the heat with this sweet treat. We've been here a couple times and they offer both parking to come up to the window, and a drive-thru for convenience. The biggest issue is that the drive-thru is very short and it's very difficult to get into. If there are more than three cars you'll have to wait off into the main road which sometimes can lead to a traffic jam and people get irritated.They have a variety of different flavors both for ice cream and for toppings. My personal favorite is just to get a classic sundae with vanilla ice cream, caramel syrup, marshmallow, and whipped cream. I usually skip the nuts in the cherry. I'm not a big fan of fake cherries but that's pretty common place among any ice cream parlor. Staff here is really nice. If you do have a nut allergy let them know in advance. They will switch all their gloves and take care to ensure that nothing is cross-contaminated in your dessert. Very thoughtful of them and nice of them to do. Overall: AGreat place for a sweet, cold treat

We love coming here for a quick treat . I always go with the waffle cone and my daughter loved the m&m kiddie twist & naturally we can't go without our little Pearl she loves to taste it as well

We got there at 11:20 wait for a whole 10min we try calling and saying something. The only thing they told us was just give us a second they waited until 11:30 for them to tell us that they were close at older lady came outside start screaming at us because she need it to go home them they told us we were only going to be allowed to ordered cones which we say yes to it all of them ignored us and not serve us. If you guys can keep up by working until 11:30 in a Saturday night maybe you guys should change the working ours all of the employees on that place are really rude and disrespectful they could just told us since the beginning that it was close so we didn't wasted our time or gas
