My husband and I encountered Twisted Plates at Southern Hills Farms Fall Festival today, we shared buffalo shrimp tacos ( 3 tacos for $10) and loaded tostones, which are a fried plantain crisp topped with chicken, chorizo, black beans and a corn salsa, ($9 for this dish which had 5 loaded crisps) both dishes had good flavor, I personally liked the tacos better but enjoyed all the flavors. There was plenty for my husband and I to share. There was hand sanitizer on counter the two chefs wore masks but cashier didn't. Other menu items looked good as well would definitely try again if we have opportunity.

This is my first food truck experience where the staff was not particularly friendly. Both the order taker and the food server did not smile or interact with the customers while I was present. I stepped up to a window and told her what I wanted and handed her the money... stepped to another window and a few minutes later a hand popped out holding my tostones. A vending machine would have given the same experience. This was surprising since Twisted Plates were part of over 40 food trucks competing for Best of Award. We ordered the tostones. The toppings were very fresh but the plantains were hard and chewy. They were like hard little tasteless disks. I loved the fresh corn and black bean topping that covered everything. It was very tasty and pulled the dish into a real winner. I would recommend trying this if you don't mind the ho-hum experience.

Our neighborhood had food trucks so we thought we would check them out for dinner. After several passes to evaluate our options, one of us landed at twisted plates. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak fries. The French fries were skinny and crispy, they were topped with a bunch of thinly sliced beef and covered with a gooey (not in a bad way) cheddar cheese. Set us back $8, but the serving could easily be a dinner for one person or shared between 2. If you see the truck around, I would recommend checking em out.

Had the opportunity to try Twisted Plates at the town of Celebration's Food Truck Friday. Ordered the chicken rice bowl and the bacon potato bombs. Both items were good but portion sizes were small so I left hungry. Don't forget to save your receipt after ordering. They forgot to give me the bacon potato bombs and asked to see my receipt which I had already thrown away.

Most of the time time when food trucks come around they don't have options for me. This was a great experience even had the option to talk to owner as I waited for my food.

You guys have me craving the Philly cheesesteak fries!! I first tried these fries at the Southern Hills Farm fall festival this past weekend and I was hooked! The serving size itself is enough to fill me up. I have been craving a Philly cheesesteak but this was good enough for me. The fries weren't soggy and there was good flavor to the toppings. I just wished they used a different type of cheese. If you see this truck you should definitely try something out. Their other options like the buffalo quesadilla also look amazing.

Yum. I caught Twisted plates at the Clermont food truck event and tried out some of their shrimp tacos. They were super yummy and affordable. You never know what food trucks what you make it and sometimes I see more expensive than the portions are actually worth. Not the case here. It was a very fair price in the food was very good. The shrimp has kind of a bang bang kick to it and was a little spicy but I like it like that. They were super fresh and friendly and I would definitely visit this food truck again. The only downfall is you can't ever check in on Yelp that you're at the food truck. They need to fix that location thing for food trucks.
