Came to this place as a fallback when the original restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. It turned out to be an awesome fallback. I ordered the 3 sushi rolls and miso soup, my usual go to. Everything was excellent and the service was great as well.

Good selection of food, variety that overlaps nicely with Thai/Japanese.Servers were quick, helpful, attentive and polite. The feeling was very comfortable atmosphere with tasteful music and a bank of televisions above the bar. The only issue was missing items we ordered and after fixing it , still only getting 1 of the 2 missing items, well after our main course had been there for a while. The waitress was very attentive in seeing this and running back to fix it, but even after that they only sent One item out. Would still visit again in the future if I'm in town, soup, wings, pad Thai were all delicious.

Last year, my sisters and I went to the Epcot food and wine festival. The night before our park day, we ate at Tsunami and thought it was the best sushi we've ever had. So it only made sense for us to go back to Tsunami this year for our Orlando trip and it's confirmed... Tsunami is absolutely the best sushi restaurant my sisters and I have ever been to! Every item on the menu is so fresh and an explosion of flavors, as well as beautiful to look at!The place is clean, the staff is beyond friendly! The only thing I can complain about wasn't even that bad... The air conditioner had an issue and it was a little warm in there so they had the doors open, but there was a nice breeze. Go check it out!!

I went to sit I the restaurant to wait for my Grubhub order. Talked to hostess, and she said they did not get a Grubhub order because of internet problems so I should cancel the Grubhub order and just order in person (saving them Grubhub fees and putting the burden to cancel on me, how convenient). I was not doing that, so I said no thanks and called Grubhub to make sure my order was actually cancelled so the charge would be refunded. I was miles away from the restaurant by now. Grubhub, though, called the restaurant and apparently forced them to take the order over the phone, then told me I could go get my order. First, I already left the area and am not going all the way back. Second, I don't want to waste more time on this order. Third, just refund my order that the restaurant couldn't/wouldn't accept. 4 days later and still no refund.

I have eaten here twice about 2 months apart and both times I had wonderful food and service. This location is a bit of a drive for me but so worth it.Let's start with the decor. It is a comfortable space in a shopping center on 192 close to Celebration. The plaza also contains a New Balance outlet if you are looking for a landmark. The restaurant has a lot of wood and a laid back vibe perfect for a late night bite or a meal with families. I love the repurposed benches that are rich shiny wood. This is down the street from the Gaylord so I think Tsunami Sushi gets some adventurous hotel guests.Service. Ok how often does a server remember you on the second visit? She said welcome back. I had a wonderful meal the first time, so points for facial recognition. Both times service was well paced by friendly staff and the food came out of the kitchen promptly. I think the servers here are seasoned professionals so points to management for investing in superior employees.Food. The first time I had beer and a pad wood sen, a noodle dish and a sushi roll. The sushi was fresh and a good size for the price. The noodle dish I picked was sweet and filled with chicken. I had to take some home for lunch the next day.Second visit I had the seaweed salad, I chose fried pork dumplings, and the basil fried rice. A couple things, the dumplings were not greasy at all and had a good flavor with a nice dipping sauce. I would also like to try these steamed. Next on the Basil fried rice she asked me the spice level from 0-5. Now I know I prefer less heat but was feeling adventurous and chose 1 and pork for the protein. It came out with some zing. I was pretty full from the salad and dumplings but I enjoyed it. I had two more small meals If that gives you an idea on the size of the basil fried rice entree. The seaweed alas also had a very slight kick. I would order any of my choices again but they have such a tempting and extensive menu, it is sometimes hard to decide. This is a great restaurant and obviously I am willing to drive the 15 minutes from my home to try some more delicious food selections. I would like to try some of their fish bowl sized craft cocktails, but will need a designated driver.

While attending a conference a group of 12 of us went to this establishment for dinner. From the first minute until the last we were so pleased with the service and food. No one ordered the same thing. A great combination of sushi and Thai food. Our biggest and only hurdle was narrowing down to what to choose. Too many things on the menu. All with photos. Everyone was so pleased with their selection a perfect experience. So fresh so delicious and the service was second to none

Food was definitely not authentic. Sushi was poorly sized and Thai food used sriracha which is definitely not Thai but Vietnamese. I also asked the waitress if the Ikura sushi came with anything on it. She said no so I said my son just wants rice with ikura, nothing on top if it does have anything on it. She assured me it did not. Of course when it came, there were sesame seeds all over it and I said I asked for it with nothing but eggs and rice. The other server said that the waitress never ordered it that way. Like it was my issue. No apologies the entire time. Service was terrible. They messed up my other order twice, forgot to give soy sauce containers to everyone who was having sushi and when I asked for soy sauce dishes, they brought one, and handed it to me when I already had one, so I had to hand it to someone who didn't have one. Then I had wait for her to come back again to ask for another one, since she only brought one and there were a few people who needed them. She again handed the container to me--I said it wasn't for me and said other people don't have them and pointed to the people who needed them. I mean, come on, do your job and look around the table to figure out who gets what. It wasn't busy so what is the issue. Of course they give themselves an 18% tip for a party of 5 or more, which is strange and perhaps explains the terrible service. Will not be returning and would not recommend. I should have known when the restaurant serves over 100 menu items and has Asian, Thai, sushi, ramen, udon and, Chinese.
