Let me preface this review by saying that I lived in Miami for a decade. I honestly do not get the hype behind this place... AT ALL.I ordered a medianoché Cuban sandwich and it was more like Mid-ianoché. They had the nerve to put cold, deli-style, honey ham and a slice of pasteurized cheese product on a Cuban sandwich. It's literally the first Cuban I've had that didn't have Swiss cheese. The ham wasn't even warm, it was cold and they didn't even have the decency to pull apart the slices of ham to try to make it appear like they didn't just use cheap packaged ham. Literally zero effort put into making this. You can feel the absence of love in the food here. The sandwich was the definition of lackluster, I ended up tossing it after a few bites.The bread was the only thing they do right in my opinion. I can only assume it is not baked in house, based off the sheer amount of pre-packaged junk food they sell. They should offer to sell shots of insulin alongside the plethora of dessert menu items containing high fructose corn syrup and other chemicals. This place wouldn't last a day in Miami.

I had Cuban Sliders that were cute. Reminded me of little ham sandwiches on Hawaiin Rolls but they were kinda tasty. I probably should have gotten an original designer Cuban. The menu is extensive, I can get there rather easily and I'm dying to try it again really soon. The,place is really cute and outside mostly.

Tropi Shack has the best Cubans in town! This business is family ran and service has always been great! We have never been disappointed and have loved every sandwich we have tried. The options are endless here and there is something for everyone.

A pretty cool roadside restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating with a menu much bigger than any of the big chain restaurants.The employees are very friendly and accommodating.I had a good old fashioned BLT and it really hit the spot....There are many different subs and Cuban sandwiches available and sides as well.. You should check it out

Been here many times for the sandwiches very taste and they have good hotdogs and icecream.Little know. Secret in the local area and the owners are mad cool I strongly suggest the place

Stopped here for lunch after a trip to Blue Springs State Park to see the manatees. They do not lie when they say they ate the home of the best Cuban sandwich. I only got the six inch (classic Cuban) and was longing for more because it was so good! The gentleman who took my order was super friendly and they checked on me a few minutes after delivering my food to make sure I was enjoying it, which is uncommon for a counter service restaurant. I highly recommend a stop here for a great Cuban - they have more variety than I've ever seen - as well as hot dogs, other sandwiches/subs, and ice cream and milkshakes. Anytime I'm in the area I'll be sure to make this a "must stop".

Great food every time!! Service is always very fast and sweet employees. It's small to try and eat inside but is still decent for a quick lunch

Hey, it's nothing fancy but the food is great and the staff are pleasant. It's walking distance for me so a favorite for sure. Always clean and appealing.

Great service, quick prep, and I can get pineapple on my sammich! 5/5 plus a great place to stop post hurricane when we had no power.

Those Texas dogs I ordered were just perfect. First bite in and I knew this was going to be my new go to place when I'm in town. So fresh, hot and delicious. Perfect amount of chili and the minced onion at the end rounded out the flavor and each bite was full of flavor. It was my first time and I already can't wait for the next time. The menu is very diverse and d do full of options. Very friendly service. I loved it.
