Tres Amigos Grill

My family and I stopped in around 4 on a Thursday afternoon. We were the only customers at the time. Chef John immediately welcomed us in and took time to walk us through the menu as this was our first visit. We had the ship stuffed tacos as well as the steak stuffed tacos. Both were delicious, perfectly charred, well seasoned, and generously served. If you are not a fan of a little heat, I suggest your h ask for the sauce on the side. If you dine in, you get salsa and chips. The salsa is so fresh, I can see why it does so well at the market. For folks that like to cook, they sell packs of seasonings like Memphis rub and a Jerk rub that I will definitely want to pick up next time I stop in.Chef John, the pride in service and quality shows in everything you do. I enjoyed my lunch at Tres Amigos. The restaurant is small but nicely done. They provide excellent customer service and use quality ingredients. I ordered a chicken stuffed taco. The meat was flavorful and I loved all of the fresh toppings. I tried the steak and really like that one too. The meat is tender and seasoned. It also tastes great with the fresh toppings. I have yet to try them but they also serve banana pudding and cookies and cream cheesecake that looks delicious.

This place is from the guy who made amazing dips/ sauces from the winter garden farmers market. Great mission to reach people thru food. Owner is very nice. Food is amazing! Great flavor and char. Also nice to support local. The guacamole and salsa is amazing! Prob eaten to go from here 10 timesI love the tortillas- heated up with perfect char marks. I've never had a bad experience here. I order ahead and it's always ready. Love the vegan options. Husband loves the skirt steak. I will never get sick of eating the veggie bowl.

Got 8 steak tacos and it was AMAZING (went back for more) , I've been looking for an authentic place to get tacos and this is the place. Love the ambiance of the lobby I love cozy small dining area. And the food came out pretty fast and the guy at the register was nice. Hope this place gets more customers they deserve it. :))

My wife and I I were very excited to see that this taco place was in the top 100 across America. So we drove 30 minutes to try this highly rated restaurant. We cannot tell how much we were disappointed in the quality of the meat. We ordered the steak tacos because the ingredients list "skirt steak" and I can promise you what they cooked was NOT skirt steak but flank steak. Well how do I know this after 30 years cooking I know my meats. Skirt steak is fatty, juicy and easy to eat, the flank steak isn't fatty very lean meat which was in the steak tacos. I understand why they use flank steak because it's cheaper but lacks fat and flavor. Skirt steak is also more expensive than flank steak. However no matter restaurant should purposely defraud customers knowingly. Now maybe the meat distributor is not telling them the truth but either way they need to change the menu immediately to "flank steak". I am not sure how a company that misleads its customers made it into the top 100, really makes me question Yelps authenticity about their reviews and rankings. The salsa was good, the rice and beans were good but the flank steak was like chewing a rubber tire. Great Tacos Local Mexican flair Small local restaurant, mostly take out. Grilled steak and chicken. Homemade Salsa ( they sell it at our Saturday Farmers market. Friendly staff. Friendly owner. Street Tacos are small but tasty Regular Tacos are terrific - spicy and great

Maybe the hype was a little bit too overrated. Came here on a Monday afternoon after it was recommended by one of our local friends who live around the area. The establishment was not what we expected at all. We thought it was going to be a sit down restaurant, but it's actually a grab and go find of quick service. The prices are reasonable and the establishment is clean. There are no public restrooms here. We ordered the street tacos of pulled pork and skirt steak. The insides of the taco was very delicious, but a bit over cooked and dry. They charred the crap out of our tortilla so it was more of a burnt taste, than meat galore. Maybe it was just the Monday leftovers. I'm sure the food lives up to its reviews... just not for us.

I had the opportunity to try this restaurant that is based off of a popular salsa from the the Winter Garden Farmers Market! Tres Amigos salsa has a variety few different flavors that go well with their tacos available at their restaurant. The flavors for the salsas are, Original, Hot, Smoky, Verde, and their Kicked up Queso. What's interesting about their Queso is that they add their original salsa to their queso to apply that flavor to the cheese! These flavors were great, and the Kicked up Queso stood out majorly!For the dinner, there are four taco options; steak, chicken, shrimp, and veggies. You have the option to have your tacos on a corn or flour tortilla, and is paired with black beans and rice. You are also able to order these tacos individually, or in a family pack of four. I ordered a steak taco, and they cooked the proteins on the grill and gives the protein a nice char! They also grill the tortillas to give them some color as well! The tacos are a Tex-mex style, and you're given guacamole that has a tiny kick of spice, and some greens to top. This is good stop for a late lunch, and since it's a small place, it's best for takeout only. The owner did inform my group that they plan on expanding the restaurant and menu, to more options, which will also lead to a change of hours. This is a good stop a quick lunch and tacos.

Finally tried this place and it was SOOOO GOOD! The steak was perfectly cooked; not chewy. I definitely recommend the bowl!! YUM!

The food was amazing the service even better ! John was fantastic ! Food was to die for . And the flavor of the stuff, Carnita tacos just burst in your mouth. Will definitely be back! Thanks John !
