Over the course our stay in Disney, I went to Trattoria twice - once for breakfast and once for dinner and both were pretty good experiences! We had made reservations for breakfast at 8am on a weekday, but that was probably unnecessary as the restaurant was fairly empty at that time, but did get busier by the time we left. For breakfast, I got the caprese omelet which came with a side of potatoes and meat choice. I wanted to sub the meat with something else and my choices were either more potatoes or fruit. I got more potatoes and my friend got a side of the Mickey waffles, which we swapped. The omelet was okay. It was cooked well, but it was a bit flavorless. The mozzarella fit the caprese, but didn't add much to the taste and would have done better with goat cheese. At the least, it needed more salt. The potatoes were really good though and the Mickey waffles punched in with strong vanilla! When my husband and I went back for dinner, it was a last minute decision but we were able to snag a reservation about an hour before via the Disney app. We were seated outside looking out to the boardwalk and the lake quickly. Our server, Hope from DE, was fantastic - so kind, helpful, and personable! We started with a bruschetta with mozzarella (FYI - adding mozzarella adds $5 to the price of the app). After placing our order, we got served bread with a garlic confit in olive oil. If I had known how good the garlic was going to be, I may not have ordered bruschetta! The table bread was warm, soft, and good on its own, but the olive oil and garlic really took it to another level! The garlic was soft and spreadable and was slightly sweet and not pungent at all. The bruschetta was equally delicious - two long pieces of bread piled with a thick piece of mozzarella and tomato mix. I put some garlic on this too and it was great this way as well.I got a margherita pizza for dinner and my husband and I split Tiramisu for dessert. The pizza had a nice crispy, but slightly chewy, crust to it and the flavor of the pizza was perfect! I did add some Parmesan and chili flakes and dipped the crust in the oil and garlic (yes, I truly loved the garlic). The pizzas were a decent sized as well - I ate half and was very full!We had talked to Hope before ordering dessert how we wanted tiramisu, but were scared we wouldn't finish it and we were traveling back home the next day, so she brought us the tiramisu in a to-go container as well as some plastic silverware for traveling. This was SO sweet of her! Ultimately the to-go cup was not needed as we swiftly finished the dessert because it was very good!Overall a couple of really delicious meals here and would happily come back! And thank you again to Hope for taking excellent care of us!

Went for dinner with a group of 10.Had drinks in the bar while waiting for our table. The mussels appetizer was super tasty although very spicy! They brought warm bread before food came out which was nice. The shrimp pasta was excellent, lemon caper sauce and artichokes.Service was decent although we sat outside and the promised "heat lamps" were quite far away and didn't do the job.

A really good breakfast is really hard to find @ WDW but finally we've found it .. .. Make your way to the BOARDWALK and this underrated gem of a restaurant .. ..AL FORNO EGGS skillet was lovely with Eggs, Italian Sausage & Cheese along with 3 freshly-baked pieces of their bread .. .. Wonderful .. ..And, reservations are not all that difficult here so even if you're not @ EPCOT, 'TAF' is a spot worth busing over for!

While on vacation in Orlando, it's always a pleasure to eat the the various disney restaurants. There are some hidden gems and some very average meals. Trattoria Al Forno was a place I was not familiar with, but glad that we tried. The prices were reasonable (for Disney property locations) and the food was very good. The Braised Short Ribs were probably my favorite, but I had the Oak-Grilled NY strip instead. I wish I had gotten the short ribs!Service was great, and had the Disney magic. Kids loved the food and service was at the right speed. It's a nice restaurant with a good setting that felt very comfortable. We had a large party of 8, and the table was a good size that fit everyone perfect.Lovely dinner and glad we gave it a try!

Our favorite breakfast place on property! The service is always great and we love the ambiance. It's not the typical Mickey waffle style sit down breakfast. The steak and eggs, and the breakfast pizza are fantastic, and the tiramisu bread pudding is probably our favorite sweet treat in all of WDW. We also got the pressed pot of coffee and it was great. Afterwards we took what coffee we had left to go and strolled around the boardwalk. Makes for a perfect morning!

We were not only really pleased with our visit to Trattoria al Forno tonight, but extremely surprised! I was expecting it to be an average Italian restaurant but it was freaking delicious haha. I'd say the truffle gnocchi was the winner but the short rib was excellent too. I have no complaints about the gnocchi. But if I were to make an adjustment to the short rib, I would say it's a little too sweet. My sisters only complaint about the chicken parm is that it was okay but the sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Pretty standard chicken parm. The bread service is great!! They could've been a meal in itself honestly. Service was great as to be expected and the music is an instrumental take on all your Disney favorites. Some are orchestrated so well as to blend with the theme that you really have to listen hard to hear the notes that will reveal your favorite Disney song. We will definitely be coming back!

Our family came for breakfast the day that we left to go home. I had the breakfast pizza which was delicious, my husband had the eggs al forno which he said was really good. Our kids also seemed to enjoy their meals. It was cold inside the restaurant for being so early in the morning but other than that it was nice and service was good. I would like to go back and try dinner!

This was our first time eating here and exploring the Boardwalk in general. The Boardwalk is conveniently located very close to the skyliner hub in Epcot. They are only open for breakfast or dinner. We had a dinner reservation and were seated right on time. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I love an open kitchen plan where you can see everything that's going on. Our waitress, Hollie, was wonderful. We started off with an Old Fashioned and a glass of Moscato. We got the arancini for an appetizer and holy moly...it was so good. Perfectly cooked and cheesy on marinara. My husband got the pizza and I got the chicken parmesan. Both were freakin delicious. I'm a hard chicken parmesan critic, but this was perfectly breaded, fried, with the right amount of cheese and the pasta on the side was a perfect compliment. We did not have room for dessert, but I will make sure we do next time. I am very much looking forward to going back.

One of our favorite places. Always great staff and this time was exceptional. The decor is so warm and inviting. For me I had the chicken parm and honestly not the best this time out. Chicken too think and the pasta was over done. Could not finish it.
