It is just your basic mediocre park food. It isnt gourmet, they arent cooking anything back there, just slapping it together. And it is slow so expect a wait. They had four people working the day I was waiting but it seemed all choppy as if no one had a main job, they were all doing everything which slowed down progress.Only one register open, after you pay then she tells you which window to go to and wait but you first have to wait for them to come take your receipt then wait again for them to prepare it. Nothing from the register automatically goes to them in the back. The one register was open but they had us line up in two rows so she went back and forth ringing up one person on her left, on on her right and so on. No clue why the other girl just stood there telling everyone they have two lines to get in the other one when essentially it's one line. That girl never did anything, bizarre. Maybe she is new, dont know.Anywho, food was just okay. I had the bbq sandwich and it was for sure the bbq out of a container. I have tasted it before and recognized it instantly. Its not made fresh on site anywhere. The chips were nasty as hell! They had been sitting out so long they were chewy, bendy and pliable, just weird for chips and no sauce or dip comes with them. Lemonade slushy was decent but I wouldn't have gotten it had I known it was gonna be pink. My issue, not theirs.Unless you starving, dont bother! Better park meals out there!Eaten by Me, October, 2021. Find me on google under same name.

It's located right across the way from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It's not fine dining, but it's a nice spot to grab something quick for lunch before resuming with the rest of your day in the park. On my last visit to the Magic Kingdom, I stopped here to eat the obligatory turkey leg. They have lots of tables here for you to enjoy your food.

Nothing to impressive about this place other than the fact that they have turkey legs- and then hotdogs... that's pretty much it.We arrived just as they opened and the Turkey legs were cooked pretty well. It was fattier than i expected, but plenty of food for the $10.I wouldn't suggest stopping here unless this Turkey Leg is your main goal for the day.

Snack-like grab and go fast food place. Animated scavenger hunt fireplace. Nice place to get a quick bite of beef hotdogs and chips.

While this is listed as a Mexican restaurant, it recently changed to barbecue.Basically there are 3 sandwich choices - sliced brisket, pulled pork or chicken breast. All are served on Texas toast and served with sides of cole slaw and beans. The sandwich was actually pretty good. It had a decent quantity of meat with a tasty sauce. The sides were definitely on the ho-hum side. I'm not a fan of sweet coleslaw and this one was definitely sweet. The baked beans tasted like they were poured from a can. While the price of around $8 for the meal wasn't bad, especially for Disney, I wish I could order just the sandwich at a reduced price. No one in the family ate either of the sides, so why have to pay for them?

Tortunga Tavern equals yummmmm!!!!! We had the Turkey Leg, Ropa Vieja and all beef hotdogs w/ the homemade chips. And they were just incredible! Where the heck does Disney find their hot dogs- cuz I have never had a hot dog as good as the ones at magic kingdom?? The Ropa Vieja alone takes the cake and it was simply seasoned and cooked perfectly. Again, Turkey legs at Disney are also on whole another ballpark. One of our favorite food experiences at magic kingdom and I highly recommend it!

We've only eaten here once because, from what I can tell, they only have it open during Peak Seasons. I'm not one to generally go to the Park ever during a Peak Season. My husband and I actually didn't partake in the Mexican portion of the menu. I had the Bar-B-Q sandwich and he had the hamburger. My Bar-B-Q sandwich was pretty good, but I can tell you if you go around the corner to Pecos Bill's in Frontierland and order the same Bar-B-Q sandwich, you're going to get more for your money because they pile much more meat on. My husband said the hamburger was just OK. Again, if you go around the corner to Pecos Bill's you'll get a much thicker, juicier burger with a toppings bar to go along with it. There isn't much seating here and I noticed the Cast Members didn't quite stay on top of keeping the tables cleaned in a quick manner when someone would exit so someone else could have a spot to eat their meal.

El Pirata y el Perico, is one of Magic Kingdom's many "quick-service" restaurants. It's location is pretty easy to find in Adventure Land right across the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I only ate here once during my WDW trip, but I'll say it's gonna be a must stop at for me from now on. The food was quick, lines were little (I ate around 11:30 am) actually scratch that no line. The register person was very friendly and even messed with me a little bit in front of my fiancee (the funny kind of messing around, not the dude...let me see your manager type of messing around). Anyway I really enjoyed the food. Of course it's gonna come at Disney pricing and be just a little bit better in quality over your average fast food joint. But for me it was the fact that it was just more variety in the theme park. You have to admit you get tired of eating ice cream bars, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and fries after a while....okay maybe not. But it's still nice to be able to order some tacos, and select your own toppings. No guacamole however, not even for an additional price. But don't worry you can make sure you leave with the appropriate Disney Gut because they do give you sour cream ;). The rice you can easily pass on, but the Taco Salad is delicious. If you want a quick meal in Magic Kingdom, and just don't want to get a burger and fries. Definitely check out El Pirata y el Perico, and then hit up Pirates of the Caribbean ride after.~Gp.s. Depending on the time of year the outdoor seating is either a blessing or a curse. But even in the hottest and/or rainy times of the year at least it's in the shade and covered. BTW I have no idea what pirates and tacos have anything to do with each other, but whatever.

Very small portions for the price. Quality, it's ok and tasty enough, but very basic given the price. They also don't do drink refills( not sure if that's unique to this quick service location or not)-just a good thing to note. The location in the park is great.
