This restaurant is so pleasant! It offers great service, fresh food, fresh ingredients and delicious desserts. The ambiance is amazing and you get to choose where to sit either inside or outsideTheir hillbilly queso is so addicting and automatically comes with chorizo every time. The guac is fresh but although I usually like it more limey and more seasoned. The churros were so authentic. They were not dry at all and you could tell they are made from scratch. I'm thankful to Jessie for proving such great service. I will be back soon and recommend you to do the same.

I'm a little bummed at my first experience here. I went to the original Torchy's (food truck in Austin) and it was always a thing I did in Austin since then. They have unique and loaded up taco options. I ordered online on their website and the site charged my card but the order didn't go through for some reason. Had to call to get the order taken again and that whole process was an awkward interaction with the employee. She was sweet, just didn't really know how to handle my issue. She then essentially told me to come asap, that my food would be ready so I rushed over (so my food wouldn't get cold) and I waited another 20-25 minutes in the restaurant. The young man that helped me in-store was super kind and helpful. The food was alright. The democrat taco was tasty! Really greasy though. The corn wasn't fresh. The queso was yummy! The chips were good too but wayyy over salted. My salmon taco had this pickled onion or cabbage on it that completely overpowered the whole thing.. couldn't hardly even taste the salmon on it. Just pickle. My partner's Republican taco was good but the Trashy Trailer Park he ordered was missing toppings and he didn't like it that much. They have pretty diverse sauce options and they offer them on the side but minimal hot sauce options. We might try it again at some point.. people have off days.

I didn't realize a Torchy's Tacos had opened in central Florida so my mom, sister and I decided to meet up for lunch there to try it out. The only thing a friend recommended was "don't leave there without ordering the churros." Noted. From what I gather, we missed the lunch rush so it wasn't busy (approx. 1:45pm on a weekday). The staff was able to walk us through the menu and make some recommendations. I of course ordered the churros.I had the steak fajita tacos and street corn. My mom ordered two of the breakfast tacos. The tacos were a decent size and flavorful. My sister loved her pork and shrimp tacos so much we didn't even get to taste hers The street wasn't as good as I thought it would be but not bad.My friend was absolutely correct about the churros! They were so good! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the dulce de leche sauce was a nice touch. The staff and place were fun and friendly. I look forward to trying more on their menu. They seem to have happy hour that starts at 3pm but I may have misread that.

One word..NO! If you are a lover of tacos like myself, do not go here. All the tacos we ordered were very cold and just didn't taste fresh. It made me a little nauseous. It simply just didn't taste good. Service was sub par. Won't be going back a second time.

After months of passing by and wondering what it was like, I finally stopped by Torchy's for dinner with my in laws. If you're looking for a quick dinner, this is a great option as you order upon entering and your food is later brought out to you. For a starter, we had the chips and queso. They were both delicious and plenty to split for 3 people. For my meal, I tried the chicken fajita and trailer park tacos. Both were amazing! My in laws also tried the trailer park taco and a burrito, which they enjoyed. The interior of the restaurant was decorated with a "torch/fire" theme, to match the name. I would love to come back.

I came to Torchy's for the first time with my co-workers and we had a great experience. We got the green chili queso with chips. It was salty, creamy, and delicious. For my meal, I got three tacos. Next time I would only get one or two because they are much bigger than I expected! I got the fried shrimp taco, the fried avocado taco, and the democrat. All of them were amazing, but the shrimp was my favorite. The batter was so flavorful and all the veg and condiments were so fresh. The beef on the democrat was so tender and rich. The avocado was thick, creamy, and fried to perfection. All of my tacos were stellar! So much so that I forgot to take pictures :( Service was good and fast. This location is new and has a clean feel with good parking. The weather was nice, so we ate outside in their cute sitting area. I will definitely be back to try more!

One of my coworkers came into the office and talked about a new taco place called Torchy's Tacos. She said, "You gotta go!" So I went to check it out.Torchy's Tacos is a fast-casual restaurant. You order at the counter, get a number, and find a seat. Then, your food is brought to your table. The menu has fun and creative names. How about a Trailer Park taco or an order of the Democrat or Republican taco? We started with the Damn Good Tots. For our meal, I chose the Democrat and Mr. Orange tacos, while my husband opted for the Grande Burrito. We enjoyed our meal. Two tacos were enough for me. This location also has a bar, but we did not order alcoholic beverages.I read that this restaurant is originally from Austin, Texas, and has expanded to other states. I was surprised by the creative and tasty menu since sometimes chain restaurants can be hit or miss.Oh and they have coke products!

I've heard so much about Torchy's from people who live in other states so I was stoked to find out we had one in Altamonte Springs! It was with the hype. The service was quick we ordered at the counter and they brought our food right out to the table. The taco was delicious and well prepared the queso tho. The queso was my absolute favorite.

Love the theme of the restaurant. It's super creative and a unique vibe. It's relatively new, I believe the cashier told us they opened end of last year or beginning of this year. Very clean place! The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time she offered great recommendations like trying the chips and queso as well as the sangria. We loved both! Sadly, I feel like our tacos were average. They tasted okay, but nothing special. My boyfriend made some modifications to The Democrat by omitting the cilantro, subbing for sautéed onions instead of raw, and having the tomatillo salsa on the side. With that, we felt like the portion of meat look stingier compared to our other tacos. My Mr. Orange tasted good and had a healthy portion of salmon. However, the Beef Fajita taco was not my favorite. It seemed too basic and not the best quality. it tasted cheap. It wasn't bad, but it's not what I expected from a taco specialty restaurant. I'd come back for the appetizers and sangria but unfortunately not on the tacos. There's just better quality elsewhere.
