Best Chinese takeout thus far in DeLand.Had the beef lo-mein and General Tso's chicken. Tasty fried rice and egg rolls too!

I was in Deland, FL, and craving for some Chinese steak. I remember from my high school days, the place to go for that was Wong Lees. Sadly, it's no longer there/closed. We found Top China which is in the same area/neighborhood. This place is a hole in a wall with no glamour or frills. More of a takeout. The good thing, it was clean. Food prices are reasonable/cheap. Even though there was a language barrier, the service is good. There was no steak item similar to Wong Lees on the menu. We ordered the main staple dishes for any Chinese restaurant; pork lomain, Mongolian beef, shrimp veggie, fried rice, and hot n sour soup. Food was cooked very fast but taste is just okay. Nothing really special. Unfortunately, I could have gone to a closer Chinese restaurant where I live and got a much better food experience. For me, this place is not my cup of tea.

It was OK. I tried a couple of different things that just the eggrolls weren't very crispy or tasty and that lo mein was very basic and plain so I would not repeat going there.

Decided to dine in as this is where mom wanted to eat lunch and I took a couple bites of rice which was good but when I took a bite of the chicken with some vegetables it was sour like rotten sour we immediately told the staff and was told "No one else complained" so there was nothing wrong with it that maybe I just got some garlic that made it taste sour but there used to be not wrong with it wouldn't even offer to remake it we both left as both out food vegetables were sour now I know why they can't ver everything ok sauce but mine was not a sauce dish so I tasted everything. This is how much I ate when I brought it to their attention so they knew.
