Toni & Joe's Patio

A great Florida beach restaurant and bar in popular New Smyrna Beach Florida. And they have the best painkiller of any bar that I've been to.

When we went, it wasn't very crowded. Most people were crowding the bar drinking. I was there with three other people for food and the servers ignored us for 10-15 minutes. Someone who seemed like the manager finally asked us if our server came over and we said no one has been here. We were blatantly ignored until he sent over someone. This server didn't want to wait on us, just took our order and disappeared. The food runner was the only nice interaction we had. The sandwiches we had were fine but between the service and bad parking lot for the building, we probably won't be back.

My first time in this area and I wanted to enjoy a couple beers on a patio... they have a large patio that is beach front with beach access - this was nice. We did not order food; they have a limited menu for appetizers and we wanted chicken wings so we stayed for only a couple beers. The shad options are limited. This is a casual place, good beach vibes, large patio, and our server was friendly and attentive.

I was supposed to go to the beach and it started to rain! I ended up at Toni & Joe's and I have to say the location is perfect! It is right off the beach, basically walking distance.It was getting close to lunch but I decided to order breakfast. I obviously started with a Bloody Mary and it was really lovely! For breakfast I had the 2 eggs with toast and home fries. My eggs were scrambled and done perfectly. The service was great and if you're in NSB do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Beautiful location for our daughter's wedding and reception In December 2023.Ceremony right on the beach, great pictures. Reception in the restaurant with delicious food, atmosphere and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Toni & Joe's has been a mixed bag of experiences for us as we've visited this spot multiple times! The location is their best selling point as it's right on the beach and very close to the rest of flagler Ave spots! We love the beachside charm and vibe of NSB, and the people of NSB are extremely friendly and chill! We've eaten here a few times and while the food is not anything special but it's more around enjoying the seaside view and time with friends! I do feel that they need to improve their bar staff service game as they seem to be always flustered and short! While I don't have any negative experiences yet, it seems like a couple of the bartenders just seem to be challenged with the orders!Overall, this is a fun, dive beachside restaurant/bar but could use better service and maybe food quality as well.

Joseph was our server and he absolutely made our breakfast experience so amazing!! The breakfast we had was incredibly delicious! I had the breakfast burrito, my daughter had the avocado toast with a scrambled eggs and my grandson had the biscuit and gravy. I would recommend everything we ate. The cocktails were also very good!!

Wow, we've lived here for 5 years and never thought to go here for breakfast! Now it may be our new go to! The breakfast burrito was so delicious! Chock full of sausage, eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon...and then the burrito is grilled making the tortilla a little crispy on the outside! Sooo yummy and serves with sour cream and salsa! Yummy Bloody Mary as well!! Great service, thank you, Amy!The only downside, Pepsi products. Couldn't ask for a better more relaxing breakfast experience: Waves, Bloody Mary, and great food

Toni and Joe's Patio has become our go-to beachside restaurant.Parking can be a bit tight because there simply are not that many spaces there. And while the place is not the brightest inside, they are known for a good breakfast and recently refreshed (mostly covered), outside area is where we have primarily two items on its menu: The Steak Hoagie (with cheese, grilled onions, and sweet peppers), and 1/2 Lb. Burger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle, onion, ketchup, and mustard.Their burger is actually done perfectly; meaning that when you ask for it as medium-rare, it is done as ordered; not overdone as in so many places.The service is friendly, although can be very slow during busy times (in fact, on a recent visit, after a 45-minute wait for the above two items, we had to ask our waiter for status and the order had been mishandled in the kitchen and the waiter didn't follow up until we did).And they do have good, live, music playing there some days.All in all--a very casual vibe and is one of the best places for an inexpensive meal and a beach view with a breeze.

So when you go to New Smyrna Beach, you can drive on the beach and tailgate. Other touristy things are going to the Breakers on Flagler (and the beach) or other places on Flagler Ave.Toni & Joe's Patio is about .2 miles south of Flagler and it's a hidden gem. If you get to the beach early (before 9am) why pack breakfast foods? Just pack the essentials for lunch. But that means you're hangry at 10 am. This is where Toni & Joe's shines - their breakfast menu is pretty good - burritos, eggs and the biscuits and gravy - all while having those tastee libations.The lunch menu starts at 11 - so if you're hankering for some pancakes, get there before 11.In either case, though, the deck makes it so enjoyable to catch the beach ambiance and hang wif your honey.
