Took a gamble and it paid off. Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi is right next door to Publix in a large strip mall. There's plenty of parking and plenty of exposure since it's next to the Big P.The decor is traditional with a modern vibe. There's a nice asian vibe with lots of booths, tables and a small bar. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated just as quickly despite being a bustling Sunday evening. The other half of our party arrived just a few minutes earlier and right on cue, our server Anh arrived with our waters.Their menu is large mainly because of all the different sushi. They offer an All You Can Eat Sushi for $31 so this might be for you if you're a big sushi fan. I didn't study the specifics so I don't know if the AYCE covers "all" the sushi on their menu or a limited range. We only tried one, the Mexican Roll. There were only 5 pieces and after trying it, I wanted to order another one, but I knew we were getting a lot of food already. The Mexican roll had tempura shrimp, avocado and topped with spicy sriracha. Yom Yom Yom Yom!We all ordered from the hibachi menu. Tokyo is what I like to call Back of the House Hibachi... meaning they cook it in the kitchen instead of the more popular front of the house hibachi where the chef cooks your food right in front of you with knives, food, and fire! Their hibachi comes with the typical miso soup which was light yet flavorful. The iceberg lettuce with generous amounts of homemade ginger dressing was on par and also delicious. The meals also come with fried rice and egg noodles both of which were nicely cooked and on par as well. We all got a generous amount of stir fried veggies of onions, brocolli and zucchini. Our NY strip steak were cut into cube sized and grilled per request. They got it mostly right with the steak being soft and succulent. Alyssa's chicken which was also cut into small bite sizes were grilled nicely with a touch of butter and spices. My filet of salmon was a tad overcooked and dry, but otherwise nicely flavored. We all ate as much as we could, but we had plenty leftover for another meal. With no room for dessert, we called it an evening. Anh was attentive and kept our water glasses filled. I would return just to try other sushi from their long list. Thanks for a lovely time Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi.

We come here anytime we want sushi! The food is always plentiful and very good. We are always sat quickly and we get started with the clear soup and drinks. Food comes out quick. Service is amazing. The servers keep your drinks filled and make sure you are doing good. Inside is clean and the booths are perfect for 4-6 people. Sundays and Tuesdays is all you can eat sushi for like $30!! What a deal!

A five-star rating is rare from me, and this business deserves it. The location is a bit tucked away in a strip mall near a Publix and other businesses, but never judge that as most the best foodie spots are the "hole in a walls" and off the beaten path locations. When you walk inside, you're transported to Japan. FromHappy lucky cat to Japanese artwork, sake bottles and artifacts, it's both clean and modern. Immediately upon sitting we were greeted by a very friendly server who took our drink orders. My husband and I ordered several rolls between the two of us and hot tea. I loved the Salmon After Burner roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. Excellent size, fresh fish and tasty hot sauce. Our orders came with delicious Miso soup and hot tea never saw the bottom of our cups.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tokyo Steakhouse recently and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their sushi. The sushi selection was fresh, presented beautifully, and tasted absolutely delicious. Additionally, I was delighted to find that Tokyo Steakhouse offers a variety of excellent vegan options, catering to different dietary preferences. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was inviting, and the overall experience left me with a strong desire to return. For a delightful dining experience that combines delectable sushi and great vegan choices, Tokyo Steakhouse comes highly recommended.

We live in the area so we receive advertisements for this place pretty often and we knew that they had a all you can eat sushi experience on Sundays. I recommended it to him or family that we can stop by and give it a try and so we finally had the time to go and do so.Service is fast and then make the sushi pretty quick. We were all hungry when we got there and we were all super full when we left.Quality is pretty OK, especially for an all you can eat place. This is a local sushi spot, so definitely not a lot of tourists out here but more local families that live in the area.

Tiny yet spacious spot for hibachi and sushi. Located in the Publix plaza down the street from my house. Was pleasantly surprised of how roomy it was inside. Never would have thought that by the looks of it from outside. They've got a pretty decent menu. Many rolls to choose from but not too much where it takes you forever to decide what to order. All meals came with a clear mushroom soup and a salad. Ordered the tataki appetizer and dynamite roll. And for my main course, I went with the sushi and sashimi platter. And of course we couldn't skip the tempura ice cream for dessert. This is a great little local spot for a quick date or whatever tickles your fancy. Customer service was super! Our waitress attentive and really nice.

Came here looking for a casual dinner in the area. There is plenty of seating with fast service, and good variety of menu items including lunch specials. We ordered the sashimi dinner and a veggie hibachi combo. The sushi was tasty with large pieces of fresh seafood with a well-presented with beautiful garnishes--great value for the price. The other dish was okay but definitely could've used more flavor.

Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi Bar is rather nondescript on the outside and rather unnoticeable in this shopping plaza (where I would say that the Publix is the anchor store). Walking in, this is a small place. However, it is inviting enough and the staff is extremely friendly. I was just getting takeout, but the staff made my short visit here extremely pleasant. Pricing here compared to other Japanese restaurants is decent. It is a few dollars less than other places and they give a good amount of food.I went with the steak and scallops. We also had a few sushi rolls and various appetizers. One if the appetizers we ordered were the spring rolls and honestly, they were a bit lackluster. My favorite of the appetizers we ordered were the takoyaki, which were fried wheat based octopus balls. They were great. My steak and scallops were good. I definitely had better, but this was pretty good. All in all, Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi Bar is a good destination and I would definitely recommend here.

I've lived in this area for 6 years, frequent the Publix next door and I'm ashamed to say I've never been inside. Well that has forever changed.. this is the cutest, homeliest Japanese steakhouse I've been to in a while. The decor is simple and sweet, everything was clean and well cared for. We were immediately greeted and seated and the staff was attentive the entire time. I love that they give you a free soup when you order, that's an added bonus. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious as was everything else. That jimmy smith roll was to die for. I can't wait to go back.

Stopped in before heading out to my flight and this place was delicious. Staff was really nice and the restaurant was super clean. I tried the shrimp and chicken tempura rolls and were delicious. Their house mushroom soup was also very good. I'll definitely try it out again once I'm in town.
