Hits the spot! Tokyo Ramen is an understated mom-and-pop restaurant located within the Chinatown plaza that delivers on homey vibes and good food. My husband and I ordered the tonkotsu and the shoyu ramen -- both came out in a timely manner. They hit the spot and were very tasty; prices were also very reasonable. Service was great! You can tell this is a family-run operation, and it feels like all the workers are family members who are chipping in to the business. The atmosphere is ok -- it's not very trendy or fancy looking, but everything was clean and comfortable. If you're in the Chinatown plaza and you're craving ramen, I recommend checking out Tokyo Ramen for sure.

"Tokyo Ramen: A Delicious exclusive party for your taste buds but that one cousin who makes things awkward had to tag along! (Looking at You, Tokyo Buns)"So my wife and I swung by Tokyo Ramen for a "quick bite." Quick, in the sense that we intended to just eat. What we got instead? A spiritual awakening... mostly.Wifey ordered the curry ramen. And oh boy, it was like a warm hug from a bowl of noodles. Seriously, I caught her making heart eyes at it. But fish tofu? We'll skip that next time, and just crank up the spice. Because if you're not sweating a little, are you even eating curry? Now me? I dove into the tonkotsu ramen like I was auditioning for a food commercial. That broth? Shhhhh just shhh and umhmmm. The pork? So tender it practically whispered, "Thank you" as I ate it. Zero complaints, which for me, is a minor miracle.Tempura shrimp? Crunchy perfection. It was like the chef knew I needed a reason to believe in tempura (she recommended the place btw). Then we tried the Tokyo buns... yeah, let's just say they are the reason we can't have nice things. But the chicken karaage? Oh, boy. Juicy, crispy, and so good it made me question why I even bother with non-fried chicken. I'd propose to it if I wasn't already taken. In conclusion: Tokyo Ramen, you hit the high notes. Except for the buns, we can talk about that later. We'll be back, thank you!

I'm making it my goal to try all the restaurants in this plaza. Going straight to the point; ramen is 3.5/5 not the best in town but it does the trick! Noodles are springy and fish cake and tofu fish are standard. I tried the miso and it has good flavor and not too salty. A bit of roasted garlic, or hot sesame oil or truffle oil would've elevated it. I do not eat too much pork and I was thankful that it was a chicken broth base and liked the chicken subbed out for the toasted pork. I wish there more fresh veggies but still good. What surprised me was the beef gyudon that my wife ordered! It was cooked fresh with that sweet savory beef and wok fire flavor. I would go back just for that. It was interesting that they also had poke bowls on the menu. The staff is your quintessential Asian family owned, where an adult is doing the cooking and the teen is your waiter. Love it when the random kiddo is chillen with their video game or doing their homework. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. There's plenty of seating available. We came for Sunday dinner and it seemed a bit slow. But everything was clean and tidy. Overall a great place to try some fast casual Japanese food. If you can't make it to your trendy ramen place and need a decent fix, This is a great spot.

I have been here about 4 times now and tonight I had to finally stop after a few bites and leave a review with how incredible, authentic and consistent this restaurant is. Their curry ramen is my go-to dish. They do it perfectly with the flavor depth and fresh ingredients every time we order. We ate in the restaurant once and did takeout the other times. Service is always kind and order is always correct. Ok going back to my curry ramen bowl waiting for me now!

(1/11/2023) came in for a weekday lunch after 1st choice was closed and 2nd choice had too long of a wait. Probably a little suspect that this place was empty while all others were jam packed at lunch time. Menu is ramen combos, some basic Japanese standards and poke bowls. Chicken Kaarage was good and crunchy, fairly well-seasoned. The items we got seemed rather pedestrian and while good, not exactly standout or special. They came exactly as described. A build-your-own poke bowl looked deceptively small at first, but deep-bowled and decent in the end couldn't finish it all. The ramen was warm, excessively salty. The Bao was tasty, but def pre-made bun reheated from frozen (I'd bet from the Enson next door). Service was limited in English, but sufficient and efficient enough, we did not lack for water. We were starving, so this fit the bill, which was immediate seating available.

I stopped by on a cold night. What better way to warm up than with a bowl of ramen. I decided to go with the curry ramen since it's not always offered at ramen places. It came out in a timely manner and the staff was accommodating as well. The ramen was exactly what you would expect. No real complaints except I feel the broth could have been stronger. I've had better broth in curry ramen at a couple other places. Other than that, not a bad place to try out. The noodles were good and the pork belly was done well. It's also conveniently located next to Enson market.

This place has plenty of parking available within the vicinity. Upon entry it seemed like they were getting busy as it was during lunchtime. There was also only one server to help everyone, so when she came over to take our order, she did seem a little abrupt and wasn't very polite. The tonkatsu was delicious, with a nice rich thick broth. Both ramen dishes came out great, but it did take a while for it to come out. Hopefully they will consider putting on more staff especially during busy times, and provide better service.

Tokyo Ramen is located right next to what use to be Sapporo Ramen. We've been looking for a good Japanese spot and this was really good. I ordered takoyaki as an app and a tuna poke bowl as my main meal. Pricing is pretty decent, I couldn't even finish my poke bowl even though it seemed small at first.. Don't let appearances fool you! The takoyaki - little octopus balls, were fabulous; really delicious.Everyone else at the table really enjoyed what they ordered. The soba noodles with shrimp was especially delicious. If you've been missing Sapporo, come by and give them a chance, granted; it's not the same, but it fills the void.

It was a stormy day in Orlando and we were in the mood for Ramen. We decided to check out ChinaTown(pine hills) and saw this place. Cute but simple decor and seemed to be family owned, and we thought the pictures looked good so why not try it. Young girl was helpful and made sure drinks stayed filled. Man oh man are we glad we came here especially that day. The food came out quick and you could tell it was nice and fresh. We started with the gyoza, chicken karagee, and the Japanese buns. The gyoza was ok and the chicken was decent but those Japanese buns were yum! I got the Shoyu Ramen added spice, shitaki mushrooms and bok choy while my man got the curry ramen. Both hit the spot and did not disappoint. The servicing size was plenty and the broth had a great balance of the flavors. We will for sure be bringing the family back here again.
