Every time we come here with friends we try a new restaurant or two. This Disney Resort restaurant is an underwater themed restaurant with good food. As I said the theme is ocean-y. I admit I thought it might be a little corny but overall it was pretty cool.... Except for the metal conduit on the supports for the roof. I thought that was a little off. A word about resort restaurants: They are all overpriced and loud, and most Disney loving tourists rate them way too high in comparison to "real-world" restaurants. The traffic at peak hours robs from the charm of these places, too. The food is usually pretty good but south of great. That is basically how I feel about this restaurant. I don't want to give you the impression I don't like the resort restaurants, but let's just see them with a dose of reality, I say. My true score of this restaurant is 3.6, but I always round up if they didn't commit some egregious culinary sin... So, they get a 4.My main complaints were the hefty prices and the noise pollution generated within these walls. My lesser complaint is that we were seated quite close to other tables. On to the food! There was complimentary bread. Kind of a sour dough style bread and french bread style with caramelized onions. The butter was adulterated with toasted fennel seeds. Interesting but totally unnecessary in my opinion. It tasted a little like curried butter if that is a thing. We ordered oysters and a seafood tower as appetizers. Many of the oysters were tiny. Like the size of a dime. I felt like they should have at least mentioned this beforehand and maybe even put a few extra on there to make up for it. They tasted fine but "come on", he says with raised eyebrow and pursed lips. The salmon puffs were gross. They are some second rate leftover salmon pieces marinated in thousand island dressing atop a hollowed out piece of bread. Not great. There was a fish pate. It was so-so on its own, but when lemon juice and a dash of tobasco was added there was a taste dynamic at work there that really enhanced it! I ate pretty much all of it on crackers and the aforementioned bread. The seafood tower also contains four large shrimp and some ceviche. The ceviche was uninspired. My lovely bride and I shared an entree of fish over risotto with baked root vegetables. The risotto was so bland and slightly undercooked. The fish however was so delicious! Cooked perfectly! Our friends shared a steak they reported was "good" and "OK". Our server was good. She did a good job and was personable. Overall I have no intention of going here again, but that isn't because it was bad. The area is filled with restaurants I think are better.

I'd heard good things so we in for drinks. Drink menu was interesting. The pineapple cocktail wasn't great. Skimpy pour in a small glass and it tasted like a fake pineapple syrup. The burnt orange drink was good and interesting. Sadly, they ran out of the bourbon for the brown butter drink. It sounded delicious but we couldn't try it. The problem was cleanliness. And I'm not sure I'd go back as a result. See pics below ... splatter on multiple lights over the bar and a gross screen and wall behind the bar. It looked like those surfaces hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Made me question cleanliness in the rest of the bar and kitchen. Doesn't look like management is focusing on those important details. (A note about the dust covered wall and screen behind the bar ... the design concept (mounted metal fish on the mesh so they look like they're swimming) was clever and visually interesting. However, it looked like it would be very difficult to clean behind it. Granted ... that may be a challenge, but it shouldn't matter. It still has to be cleaned. Figure out how to do it or fix/change the design. Cleanliness/safety in an F&B environment must be priority one ... always.).

Looking for a dinner spot while visiting Epcot. While located at the Dolphin hotel, you can either walk or take the Water Taxi....Place is located on the ground floor of the hotel Nice atmosphere, with chandeliers shaped like whirlpool of bubbles. They provide bread while you wait for your meal.We ordered the Mahi mahi with risotto. It came with a mix of veggies. Loren was out server, and he did an excellent job helping us select and making our order split into two plates. Would I recommend this place, absolutely...hope to be back.

Great food! Wonderful ambience, just the perfect vibe for an elegant hotel dinner vibe. The service is above and beyond. The only negative is it is a bit pricey, but that can be expected with a hotel restaurant.

I'd say it's a perfect 4.The staff makes this almost a 5... excellent service, warm, welcoming and all around friendly. Had dinner here 2x during a conference, and enjoyed my meal. Modern decor, nice bar and lots of tables for various configuration (2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and private rooms too). Food wise - enjoyed the west coast oysters, classic clam chowder (so good), and the caramel flan; delicious! Don't skip on their warm toasted bread basket! I was surprised both nights, the main was a bit disappointing. Had the seared corvina (white fish) and it was so dried. Plated on a bed of risotto... had it with the white wine sauce. The fish was a little rough. Then I bit into a bone... yikes. The other main - Lobster w/ pasta... forgot the name; it was good but half way in... the amount of oil pooled at the bottom - eck... couldn't finish after that. Also tried their crab and corn chowder... not what I expected. It's literally a crab cake on corn chowder - super salty. So watch out. Overall a good dinner option if you're at the Disney hotel.

Had an absolutely wonderful night celebrating my wife's birthday! We had the filet and the ahi tuna and they were both amazing, cooked to perfection and we left extremely satisfied. The service has a major highlight of our night. Our server Loren and the assistant GM Michael went above and beyond to make the night special. Thank you to both of you! We will 100% be back and look forward to checking out the happy hour as well. 10/10 experience.

My apologies for not posting sooner, first off have been here a few times when visiting Disney and food does not disappoint. Always fresh and delicious. Good atmosphere and large bar with good drinks. Service is always good but the last time we went (Christmas Week 12/24) we were seated in Philips section and he was great. He came over and promptly greeted us and gave us some great compliments on our name, and that just set the mood for the rest of the evening. So I would like to thank Philip once again for a great evening and also my thanks to his manger (apologies I don't recall his name). So if you go to Bluezoo and Philip is your server know you're in good hands and tell him Joe Motorboat says hello.
