Tierra Del Sol Bar & Grill

Great experience tonight with some excellent food great service and a amazing ambiance. Since the renovation this place has picked it up. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was delicious plenty of meat and the bread was delicious Recommend the baked sweet potato as a side

I've dined at Tierra Del Sol several times over the years and its consistently good food. There are several dining areas including a bar area with sports, a dining hall room and outdoors. We learned last night that if you have tickets to the theatre next door you can get priority seating for dinner - which we did. I had the pork loin dinner which came with 2 sides and I chose vegetable of the day brocolli and french fries. I really enjoyed the mushroom gravy which brought everything together. My dad a cup of chili which I sampled and it was awesome - we are chili conosours so this is a big endoresment. My mom and I sampled the soup of the day which was a red pepper gouda - very good as well. My dad had the wings and loved them, and my mom had a salad with goat cheese and chicken which looked absolotely fabulous. Everything on the menu was tempting and right up our alley. Service was attentive even during the dinner rush. I would dine here again in a heartbeat.

Service good. Coleslaw plentiful and tasty. Italian sausage sandwich is awful. 4 coin sized slices of tasteless sausage on each roll. That's no Italian sausage sandwich. If I order a hot dog, I'd never get a few slices of hot dog, I'd be served a whole hot dog. Same expectation for an Italian sausage. Sandwich was mostly large globs of onion and some pepper slices.

Best salad in the Villages - bar none. Look at that photo. Honey mustard dressing is excellent though they have a large selection from which to choose.Service is very friendly and you can find live music there too on the lovely patio.Excellent mocktails as well when you don't feel like drinking.

So after hearing how good the food & service was at Tierra del Sol, I stopped there for lunch after playing golf today.I understand that the The Villages is not a hot bed for culinary delights ... that's the understatement of the year. Tierra del Sol brings the norm down a few notches.The food was DISGUSTING. I happened to sit at the bar and the manager was next to my seat and we had a few words about my order. He made a particular suggestion and I went with it. I ordered a "Sausage Sandwich", which (according to the menu) was served with "grilled onions and peppers, marinara sauce and cheese". I ordered it without the cheese and the manager himself, confirmed that's how I wanted it.Did I get it without cheese? Of course not. It came with melted Provolone Cheese. Did it come with "grilled onions and peppers"? It came with onions and peppers, but they weren't grilled ... at least the peppers weren't. Did it come with Marinara sauce? If it did, I couldn't find the sauce. How was the roll you might ask? I'm sure the roll would have been tolerable a few days ago, but no longer.What about the sausage? Well, I wouldn't exactly call it "sausage". I'm fairly certain it was some sort of processed chicken, in a sausage casing. It tasted like very finely chopped cardboard, soaked in some sort of seasoning.Was it served hot? Nah. Was it served warm? Nah. The so-called sausage must have just come from the refrigerater and rolled on the grill for a few seconds, then tossed on the roll.How was the service you might ask? Well, if the service was just a touch better, I might have been able to write that the sausage was at least "warm". Unfortunately, it took me about 10 minutes of my sandwich sitting in front of me, before I could get the bartender to give me some eating utensils and a napkin. You might say, "I thought you ordered a sandwich"? Well, I did. But, when the bread/roll is old, it's unusually crumbly and it's hard to eat it like a sandwich.I will say, the french fries were "well done" as I like them. If they were hot, that would have been a big win. As it was, everything was a loser. The staff, the service and the food.The golf course is great!

The food here is not bad. The hot god was a little salty. The chicken fingers were good. Had the onion rings which were very greasy. So much so my fingers were covered with grease. Very noisy inside. No found tables for big groups. Service Wes excellent. Entrance is in the back. If you want to park your cart in the back you may not get a spot. After golfers finish golfing they leave their carts in the back and go in for lunch.

We went to the restaurant after golf at the nearby golf course with a bunch of friends. We had a reservation for 10 of us and we were seated promptly. Michelle arrived and took our drink orders as the three golf groups arrived and sat down. After drinks were served, Michelle explained the menu and took our orders efficiently and noted all special preparation requests. 15 to 20 minutes later, food was delivered and additional drinks were ordered and soon delivered. The food was presented well and was hot and tasty. The baked and bread crumb topping haddock was very nice and tasty. My wife's tuna melt sandwich was good. The pork tenderloin covered in gravy was delicious according to the eater. The breaded shrimp counted to 8 and were tailless and delicious. Separate bills were combined after dining by Michelle and the bill paying was painless and perfect. The only drawback is the ambiance of the dining are, which is awful for sound level noise. Sound deadening material needs to be applied to surfaces to lessen the din of the talking by everyone in the restaurant. I should knock off a half star because of this but can't.

Marcos and Armodor took wonderful care of us, food was wonderful. Shelia was attentive to our thirsty needs. One of our favorite places, oh and Kennedy was checking to make sure all was good. Great staff!!

The bartender Jaylyn is fantastic! She's always smiling and taking care of her customers. She's so sweet

We went there Thursday for the first time! I had the bacon cheese burger and it was delicious! I enjoyed the fries and coleslaw as well! The place was clean and quiet at 2:30 and once it hit 3:00 the place began to fill up quickly! Happy hour starts at 3:00!! My husband had the Ruben but he was disappointed that it wasn't true corned beef even though the waitress said it was!
