Carne asada is my favorite! Al Pastor is also delicious. Everything was so hot, as usual!

Love coming here for Mexican groceries and specialty ingredients you won't find at a regular grocery store. The tacos they sell at the restaurant inside the grocery store are really good too! Tried the Al pastor and carne asada and both were delicious, and very reasonably priced.

NOTE: The food counter for ordering is inside a little Mexican grocery store. You may come across a little issue ordering if you don't speak Spanish, BUT I know all of you reading this are foodies so if there is a will there's a way! Oooo also they'll give you your order on a receipt after you place it and you have to pay at the grocery store register. I came here for just a burrito and was not disappointed! The second you walk into the store, it really gives authentic vibes. I'm from Miami and the best hole-in-the-wall places are usually ones with this Hispanic cafeteria type of vibe so I was super excited. The prices were great! Tacos for $1.99 are extremely unheard of in 2024 given that anywhere you go they are like $3-4 each. The proteins here are also on another level. I've never had Cabeza but I do wanna try it some one day. Lengua is a delicacy also!I ordered the Asada burrito, and it was HUGE! I was really surprised (in a good way) about the amount of meat inside it. Whatever cheese sauce drizzle that they put on top of it is fantastic also. I was a little sad when I realized the burrito didn't have black beans and corn like in the picture on the menu screen; but it does clearly state that it just comes with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream so I can't be upset about it. I wish they had grilled the burrito a little after assembling so that way the tortilla was a bit crisp since it did get a bit soggy. But overall, I paid $11 for this burrito that would have EASILY been like $16 at any other place. I recommend this spot for anybody that wants a cheap, authentic, quick Mexican meal :)I will definitely be stopping by again to try a Gordita, a taco or two, and a soup (sorry I forgot to snap a pic of their soup and breakfast menu)!

This place is a little Mexican grocery store and inside you find the restaurant. There is a big board with their menu. They have great prices and when you bite into the food they cook, wow, amazing! Very tasty and authentic Mexican food!! You can place your order to go, but you can also sit there and eat as they have a sitting area. there is a music and there is a tv that usually shows videos. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Tienda Mexicana Jalisco is a hole-in-the-wall type Mexican Markey with a few tables and a kitchen on one side of it offering tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas and other Mexican favorite dishes. The service was subdued. Not rude and really not even d8sinterested. Maybe kind of detached. Not bad necessarily, but I did not feel the welcome vibe. I felt they were doing their job.I opted for four tacos. An asada taco, a chorizo taco, a barbacoa taco and a carnitas taco. I asked for it to go and it was kind of a weird way to hand me my food. They handed it to me packaged like you would find meat sold in a supermarket. They were on a Styrofoam plate and shrink wrapped.I did see that they were not making their own tortillas. When I got home, I tore the plastic off my plate and tore into my tacos. They were okay. Certainly not great. I guess I thought the carnitas taco was the best out of the bunch. The accompanying green and red sauces were a bit weak. I assume they came from a jar.I can't say that I was blown away, but the price was decent and the food was decent, as well. I guess overall, I will go with four stars.

Originally I came here searching for a Mexican snack chip I used to get when I lived in California. Then I discovered their hot food. Now I refuse to pass by without stopping for the BEST authentic tacos in Orlando. Better than a taco truck Taco. Yea, you read that right - THAT good.$2 Carne asada tacos that I can't get enough of??? Yes, please! Extra lime and extra of the green salsa for me, and you have to fight me to get me to not stop there. Last two visits I started adding on a small side of rice as well. 3 tacos plus a good amount of rice for like $8 and I am filled. Best. Lunch. Ever. There is always a line to eat there, and most of the patrons patiently waiting are from countries that know good food and wouldn't be there if they didn't know this place waa great.Total hidden gem! Shhhh don't tell anyone. Actually... tell everyone - they should come down and grab something to bring home.I promise to include pix next time I go. I just have to stop shoving tacos in my face long enough to remember to take pix :pEDIT: Went back, took some pix, AND they now have menus so I grabbed one to share!

I was searching for aji amarillo and although I did not find it here, I am very happy to have found this place. This tienda (store), reminiscent of the corner stores of The Bronx, except of course for the big parking lot.Upon entering there is the obligatory store staple of the chips rack, drinks and icees and the check out counter right by the door. Tienda Mexicana Jalisco has a variety of dry goods, like canned beans, canned meats, flours, masa, oils and vinegars. The produce area has different chiles and peppers, tomatoes and herbs. There is a section of packaged fresh corn tortillas and a meat market where all kinds of meats are available. There is also a restaurant inside. Although I did not find aji amarillo, I did find super fresh serrano and jalapeños peppers, fresh masa harina for corn tortillas and I am very happy with the fresh salsa and tortillas I made with them.

Do NOT sleep on this place! It's small but there were tons of to-go orders filled while we sat inside at a table. Breakfast was AMAZING here!! We had huevo ranchero eggs that were ALL THAT! We also ordered a sope with chicken and one with beef! Both excellent. Huge qty, small price. Fantastic!
