Went back there last night as we have 1 more week to Mardi Gras!Local note, get there before 6 pm because hurricanes are $5 off. And 2 for 1 wine. We spent more on wine than on the food. Its been awhile for me having the Who Dat chicken. Mmm mmmWifey had barbecue shrimp, but it was in a lemony sauce that was heavenly I made it a point to take some pictures...of everything except my food. #fmlBut i wanted to show you the.ambiance its magical. My first time was with #mommad and #wifeytobe. Its when i realized i loved her. #mommad would come here once a week w wayne. Looking forward to bringing her back.Service was great. Shout out to Toni (yeah, with a i)

When you step foot inside Tibby's you feel like you're in dining in New Orleans. The walls are aligned with beautiful New Orleans decorations and iconic places and the colors are vibrant. This place is very popular so I highly recommend making reservations in advance. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and we made it in time to hear a little bit of their live music during brunch hours. The live music was very enjoyable and I would love to go back during brunch to fully enjoy it. My only complaint is how slow our service was. It took awhile to get our appetizers, entrees and drinks but everyone was very friendly and gave great recommendations. For appetizers we ordered the onion ring stack, honey crystal shrimp, shrimp and alligator cheesecake and the off the menu chili with cornbread. The onion rings were perfectly fried and the bbq sauce on the side was a great pairing with the onion rings. The honey crystal shrimp is a must try! It was so delicious I could have ordered more. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the house-made Crystal honey hot sauce was very tasty and not too spicy. The house-made blue cheese dressing was very good and tamed the heat from the Crystal honey hot sauce. The shrimp and alligator cheesecake is a fun and creative dish but it sounded better than it was. It was good just not as good as the other appetizers. The chili was very delicious and hearty and the jalapeno cornbread on the side was so good! For entrees we got the fried oyster po boy, fried catfish po boy, and the 12 napkin roast beef po boy. I loved all the po boys we tried but the oyster po boy was by far my favorite! The oysters were so fresh and tender. They melted in your mouth with every bite. The catfish was also very fresh, tender and delicious. The 12 napkin roast beef po boy was fun to try to eat. It was definitely messy and juicy. For drinks they have great beer options on tap, their hurricane was strong and delicious and they have a bottomless mimosa option which is worth it. Everything we ordered was very delicious and the whole experience was wonderful. I highly recommend coming here and trying some authentic New Orleans cuisine.

I love the ambiance in here; and we came during the holidays where they were really playing up the Christmas vibe so it felt cozy. The server was very friendly and food came quick. I liked the Hemingway cocktail as well. I got the muffuletta, my son got the Belgian waffle and my husband got the sampler... you really can't go wrong with with a waffle, he enjoyed it. My husband liked the sampler but I tried it and while everything had a nice flavor, the jambalaya was a bit dry but the patty was pretty good. I thought the gumbo was definitely the star of the dish but small portion. The muffuletta brags to be just like central grocery in New Orleans but that is a stark contrast. I mean, it has all the same ingredients but missing the true flavor of NOLA!I would likely not come back as there are so many better offerings in Orlando.

This is such a cool place! The decor is so amazing and very Mardi Gras. It will make you think you are in New Orleans. The portion sizes!!!! They are huge! Order a few things at a time, cause you may end up having to split since they give you so much food. They have a good happy hour as well. Come in for happy hour, split an over sized entree. Perfect night during the week.

I know, I know - this is a sensitive topic for some, we are talking about shrimp and grits of course. Seriously, the SHRIMP & ANDOUILLE CHEDDAR GRITS were awesome. I'm returning just for this. A great appetizer was the cheesecake - it's not what you think, think lots of cheeses put together with alligator and shrimp for a dip. Yeah, it was a differentiator for sure. Service was on point.

Another good experience at Tibby's. I was with 2 friends and we went for happy hour/dinner. The interior is so fun and service was good. 1 friend had the SHRIMP & ANDOUILLE CHEDDAR GRITS and she liked them. I had the SHRIMP & GRIT CAKES MONICA STYLE which I very much enjoyed. My other friend had the FRIED CATFISH BASKET which he said was okay as it didn't have any seasoning, but was cooked well.

Excellent service and food, all in a lively New Orleans-ish atmosphere. This restaurant can really hold a crowd and the kitchen can surprisingly keep up. I always love seeing a manager working alongside his/her staff as well - makes me feel like everyone is invested in the customer's experience. Tibby's Altamonte Springs is located in a plaza with shared but plentiful parking. Interior seating: tables, high tops and bar seating. No outdoor seating.

While I ordered to go this time, I love the winter park location better because they're closer and I know the staff well. Both locations serve great food and strong beverages lol! Ambiance is so cool , feels like a part of the French quarter for sure ! I love the entire menu , especially the desserts OMG! So good

Tibby's is a WHOLE VIBE. The aesthetic, decor, and music really sets the tone for this spot.My husband and I decided to go for a bottomless brunch around noon on a Saturday. We love a bargain boozy brunch, and this has got it. The way it works is depending on the drink you order, all other drinks lower in price are included. I decided to start with a bloody mary since the bottomless was at the highest price bracket so everything else was included. This included: mimosas (classic, peach, mango), bloody mary's, 4 different beers, and red and white sangria. For $18, that is a steal! We started with the beignets and they were melt-in-your-mouth good. The best I've had. We ordered a second plate of them they were THAT GOOD.For a meal, I got the maple chicken bacon benedict. It was on a biscuit instead of an english muffin. It was not overloaded with hollandaise and all of the flavors complimented each other well - big fan. THE DRINKS. WERE. FLOWIN. Bottomless really meant bottomless and our server was on top of it. The best drink I got was the red sangria, it's MUCH better than the white and I ended up getting two of those. Glad we had taken an Uber there because between the drinks and beignets we were STUMBLING out of there.
