The Yardery

This is always a Friday or Saturday stable for our family. The food is always top notch. The service is always excellent. We typically try to ask for the waitress, Sage she always takes really good care of us. The outdoor area is perfect for the kids as they always run around and play with a huge tire swing which is pretty much the staple of the yardery. Our kids pretty much beg us to come here every single weekend and it's hard to tell them no because it's a perfect place for us to wind down from a crazy weekend and it's also a perfect place for them to run around and play with other kids from the city. Dogs are also welcome and everyone seems to enjoy. They typically have live music on the weekends, which is nice.I highly recommend the wings and the pulled pork sandwich. On the weekends for brunch at typically get the chicken and waffles, which is absolutely amazing.

Staff was great, spent some time with us patiently, while we asked a ton of questions. They were willing to be flexible on the menu. I took the tacos and made them into a salad. Food was delicious! The only thing that sucked is, it was middle of summer and they don't have an indoor space... but that's on us. It's an outdoor restaurant and we chose it.

This is an update after a very disappointing experience I ordered the Back Yard Wings & Sweet Potato tots. I got a heads up that the toys would be sweet potato Fries. I was good with that but I got a pathetic amount of fries for $7. Ridiculously small & did not get the 10 wings. I pointed it out to the server and told they were not responsible for the plating or serving size. They just lost a customer & rating from me. I moved this up to a 2 star for responding to my complaints & brought me more wings. This was still a very disappointing experience.

I felt the space was really cool. Great live music component, dog friendly and fun games. Felt like a great outdoor atmosphere for kids or to bring your dog. I ordered the hot honey chicken and wasn't too impressed. The crunch was really good but it's breast meat so was on the dry side. Also didn't feel like the sauce was too flavorful or "hot" but the twisted corn was good! And the ambiance and service were fantastic!

The outdoor family vibes are definitely so comforting! A great atmosphere for little ones and those who are looking for a backyard feel. The food is decent. We got the Cajun fish tacos, their signature burger, and warm crab dip. I felt that the fish tacos needed more Cajun seasoning and the crab dip needed a tad more cream cheese in it, but overall a good experience! Staff were friendly and prompt.

Great first-time experience at The Yardery the night of the Sanford Christmas Parade. This is the perfect place to bring friends and family to catch a game while actually playing a few (cornhole, ping pong, etc.). Lovely servers take your order and are quick to offer suggestions, if you'd like. I went with the Yardery Burger (next time, it will be the fish tacos which were also recommended) and fries. The burger is a double smash burger with candied bacon, fried onion, and Yard Sauce - scrumptious! I don't think I waited more than 5 or so minutes for my food to come out - wow! Everything was great and, while I sat at the bar, it looked like everyone around me was having a great time. I definitely recommend this dining jewel just off Downtown Sanford - it's a few extra steps away from the hubbub of Downtown, but it will definitely be worth it. Yum!

I will start by saying that I 100% recommend taking a trip to The Yardery. We've been primarily during the day but decided to leave a review after going in the evening. This is a great place in a great location. If you have young kids it's a great place to get a drink while they play with the other kids and yard toys. They have live music on some nights which is great too. The waiters we've had always deliver good service. I gave this place a 3 out of 5 for the following reasons. #1 being in Sandford their draft beer options could be better. And probably the biggest reason is the food is hit or miss depending on what you order and the day. The chicken Caesar wrap was good. The hot honey chicken sandwich is really not a sandwich it's just 2 chicken breast on soggy bread. My daughter had the kids corn dog one time completely burnt but the next time it was cooked great.

Disappointed by the service. We walked in & went to the bar. The waitress told us we could take a seat and someone would be by shortly to take our order. We sat down for 20 minutes and not one person came by to take our order. Not even see if we were doing okay. It wasn't very busy either. I saw multiple staff members just standing by the bar. Unfortunate because we were really excited to try the food.

Bar setting with toddlers running around......who brings their kids to a bar.....horrible. This is a terrible concept. If you want a "family atmosphere" leave out the alcohol.

We stopped by while waiting to drop off family at airport.Very neat place. Service was great. Food was great. Ambiance was great. Would definitely go back
