A charming and inviting atmosphere greets you plus a friendly staff! Adrianna was our server and she was precious! She was Very accommodating and kind with my mother in law who was in a wheelchair. To start with we had the croquettes and tostones as starters and both were hot, flavorful and delicious! The Wildflower is a Latin fusion scratch kitchen so everything is made to order and may take a little longer than usual but everything is worth the wait! For our main entrees we had the Power Bowl, Breakfast Arepa and Cachapa. All of our dishes were incredible and so fresh tasting! For dessert we had the flan and the churros with our favorite being the flan. Both were delicious but but we love flan and theirs is lighy, sweet and delicious!!! We could not have asked for a better experience! We will definitely return!

My friends and I were in Downtown Sanford looking for a nice bar in the area and came across The wildflower. The bar is really cute and big.We were greeted by the waitress as soon as we got in the restaurant. We were there a little before they closed so the kitchen was already closed and we weren't able to get any plates but we ordered drinks. All the drinks were delicious. Sadly, a few minutes after they gave us the drinks, they turned the lights on and the music off. I would've preferred to be let known that they were about to do that before bringing the drinks and we would've gone somewhere else because we had to rush and drink very fast without really enjoying our drinks.

Decor is eclectic and fun. Service was a little lackluster. We got the pork bites, plantains, yuca fries, wings and fish tacos. The pork bites, plantains and yuca fries were pretty good. The wings were pale and tasteless without the sauce. My friend had the fish tacos and said the were good. Overall I would be back but I won't be running back here.

I guess I must be in the minority because this fell way short of my expectations. I was with a group of five and that same sentiment was echoed. I will say that we enjoyed the ambiance and stylish setting. It was a very comfortable place to chat. We also enjoyed the drinks we ordered but found them to be more ice than drink. As far as food goes, we tried a variety. Nothing stood out except the prices. The ceviche was the biggest letdown. The flavor was alright but the shrimp weren't even chopped. Between that and the teeny tiny plantain chips it was quite awkward to eat. That combined with the fact that the plantain chips became very soggy very quickly due to the plating style-see pic. The shrimp tostones was the plate I was most excited about and lacked overall flavor. The grouper sandwich was good, not super memorable but pleasant enough. For the price though, would have been nice had it been served with some fries or chips. However, the grouper was the redeeming aspect of the meal. Ultimately finished off with French toast to share around the table. Another solid plate but there's nothing extraordinary about French toast. Nice service. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive but I'm in no hurry to come back. I'd stick with drinks only if I did return.

My experience here could've been a lot better, if the employees had actually tried. As soon as we walked in, nobody was there to greet us, after making eye contact with the bartender and wandering for a few minutes, I walked to the bar and asked if we sit ourselves or wait. He said to sit. There were only two other tables there. I saw on the menu that they had a shrimp ceviche and I immediately knew that's what I wanted. I ordered it but five minutes later our server came and said they don't make that. I was confused cause it's on the menu I even showed it to her and she was confused as well. After a few minutes she said they would make it for me, like if they were making an exception. Fine. We proceeded to wait 30 more minutes for our food, at this point I'm ready to leave because the only two other tables already had their food. The ceviche was really good, it's the reason I gave this place 3 stars. The wings were terrible. They tasted old and like they had been sitting in the fridge for a while. They were hard to eat. The server never came back so I had to get up and flag her down (only two tables dining in at this point) so that I could pay. The place is beautiful, but it's gonna take more than that for them to establish returning customers. The whole experience just felt so ingenuine, like they didn't try to give a good experience at all. I don't think I'll be back, there are many restaurants in the area that will actually welcome you with a smile.

I love this place! Great for cocktails and tapas. We usually pop in for a drink and a snack when we are walking around downtown Sanford. Never disappoints. The food is always on point and very tasty. The cocktails are unique and delicious. The service is always good. Love the ambiance and decor inside. It definitely sticks out because there really isn't a place like that in downtown Sanford.

Place has a great happy hour and specials. The food was fresh and enjoy having a tapas place in downtown Sanford.

Overall drinks and food are decent. Our serve was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable! A bit disappointed in the lack of professionalism from Mgmt. I was advised from the staff to send an inquiry about a private event for a graduation party to the Instagram page. I did so, my message states seen, but never a response. I have more private events to hosts due to my engagement but will not be reaching out. Very disappointed as this place has a ton of potential! Overall, if you are looking for a quick drink and a snack I would recommend this, but not for other things.
