Toothsome is a must-hit dessert spot at Citywalk in Orlando. Skip dinner & dive into the desserts and drinks here! The portions are huge, which makes many of the desserts good for sharing. The birthday cake sundae & brookie cookies and cream sundaes were each big enough for 3 people to share. Our boys got their own and couldn't get through half. I wasn't thrilled about my husband's choice of the chocolate creme brulee, but I'm SO glad he ordered it. It's so unique and flavorful. I stuck with a chocolate espresso martini, which was strong and delicious! On your way out, get a massive milkshake, macarons, or truffles to go. The milkshakes are all fantastic and perfect to share with your love or bestie. I took away a star for the pricing on the bakery items to go. The macarons, truffles, brownies, and rice crispy treats were excellent, but expensive- some more than what you'd spent at Disney. Otherwise, this is a stellar place to devour some chocolate goodness!!

Honestly this place looks so very cool we just had to try it.The shop is filled with great stuff... chocolate, gifts, and souvenirs. Nothing is cheap though so just be ready. The dining area is really cool as well. A very interesting vibe and neat esthetics. However the food was not good. Our service was poor, and the prices are steep!!Everything we had was just blah or tasted funny. I'm a very open eater but even I had to agree with my family... it was not worth eating here.Go in to look around, buy something in the shop, but i do not recommend eating here!

Where to start? We sat around 6:45-50, tater tots appetizer was good, still waiting for our entree at 8. When they finally got to the table the disappointment couldn't be bigger. We ordered 3 Fettuccine Alfredo (recommended by the chef as a special of the night). I wish I could say the flavor was bad, but it made me question if I had contracted covid from how much I couldn't taste anything. My friend drizzled ketchup on it, and for how gross it sounds, he said it somehow improved it. We could tell they sat under the heat lamps for a while, from how stale and solid they were.Service was fine, besides the young manager Stuart, who instead of checking with us again (giving we called him asking about a timing on our food) was too preoccupied with talking to a group of girls who couldn't be anymore disinterested in talking to him, but all he seemed to care was the huzz.

A beautiful spot for a sweet treat! The restaurant itself is very nice and gives off an old time chocolate factory vibe. I loved the golden theater cloths and the play on colors! The service was great! We made a reservation and were seated quickly after entering. The staff were all friendly and very attentive. A card was placed on our table by the restaurant for our anniversary which was a very kind gesture which put a smile on our faces. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake milkshake which was beautifully presented - 5/5 for presentation. The flavors were simple, tasted mostly like vanilla ice cream than anything else but the flavors were still good. The portion was large and filling, making it perfect to share between two people. The cheesesteak egg rolls were served hot and tasted good as well. Overall a very nice experience & I'd recommend giving it a try.

After some back-and-forth in 11 days, I finally spoke with an agent who couldn't have been more kind. Naturally, they wanted to see the receipt for the restaurant, and I had used the Mardi Gras gift card to pay for our dining experience... she, the agent, was able to research it find everything that we paid for and did a complete refund. I want to say I really do appreciate the way that they handled this and the agent couldn't have been more kind. Hats off to Universal for their outstanding customer service!

Didn't make a reservation but ended up getting seated right away at the bar upstairs. The servers here are really friendly and went over the menu even gave some pointers. They have characters here as well and I didn't know their story. When asking the bartender he actually gave me an old menu where you can read the story of Jacques and Professor Dr Penelope. It was quite an interesting read. I got the croquet monsieur and the French onion soup. The soup is really good. I like the amount of cheese on it. The croquet monsieur was probably a little too salty for my liking. I'm not sure I would order the soup again with it. Portions were okay for the amount of food you get. I like how the restaurant looks inside. It definitely has a good way of immersing you into the chocolate emporium feel. I need to go back to check out their milkshakes though.

Meh. We left underwhelmed and just feeling meh. Made a dinner reservation in prep for the marathon weekend after reading the other reviews and felt it was worth a shot. Came in for a 530 reservation, was promptly sat but was asked to take the stairs when I was clearly wearing a huge leg brace from recent surgery. Was sat on 2nd floor cat walk at a 2 top.Waited 10 mins or more for our server to appear. She was lovely but clearly overworked and over sat at that moment. We ordered an app and dinner. Unfortunately as we were sat on the edge of the catwalk area it's where the team watched tables from below to communicate seating to the hostesses. Every time someone came to talk to them it became a gab fest and my husband had butts on his shoulder.Food was ok. It wasn't anything to talk about either good or bad. Mediocre seasoning and flavors. If you love mid American chain restaurants this is your jam. If you like to eat local or more niche specific dining this is going to fail you. The dessert was supposed to be to go and our 19 milkshake was simply a brownie puck on top of a chocolate McDonald's shake. Not worth the money or time. I do want to say our server was wonderful, she was setup to fail which isn't fair to the staff.

One of my favorite restaurants in City Walk at Universal Studios. The ambiance is cool, the food is delicious and the desserts are over the top in the best way! The outside of the restaurant pulls you in with its neat architecture, moving parts and smoke. The inside is just as unique with a steampunk theme. There is a great gift shop that sells restaurant themed merch and a dessert counter where you can purchase desserts without having to dine in.It's easy to make reservations here and check in is simple and quick. There are two floors so they have plenty of seating. Our server Anita was very friendly, gave great recommendations and brought our drinks and food out in a timely manner. For an appetizer we ordered the truffle fries. We love truffle fries and these did not disappoint. They were cooked perfectly and had plenty of the toppings on each fry.For entrees we ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu, Pub It Up, and the Cheddar Bacon Burger. The Chicken Cordon Bleu as of right now is the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had! The chicken breast was so thick but was cooked perfectly! It stayed moist and tender under the breading. The breading was the perfect ratio and had the most satisfying crunch to every bite. The toppings paired great with the fried chicken and the Swiss cheese and bechamel sauce oozed out of the sandwich. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich especially if you love fried chicken. I will always order it whenever I dine here. The Pub It Up is another item I highly recommend. The burger was cooked perfectly and was juicy. You could tell the meat is good quality. The queso and cheddar cheese made this another item that just oozed and it was well worth the mess! I also have to mention the dijon mustard played a big role in making the burger perfect, it made the ingredients pop and was delicious. The cheddar bacon burger is a classic burger that you can't go wrong with ordering. It was also cooked perfectly and very juicy. The milkshakes here are always something I have to order. I only order one though because they are big, loaded and very filling! I love the unique milkshakes and they also come out with limited themed milkshakes that make you want to come back to try more. We ordered the That's "Mint" milkshake and it came with an Oreo ice cream sandwich and Andes mints. It was delicious and a great OG flavor to try.
