The Thirsty Topher

One of my favorite hangout spots in Orlando with some of my favorite bartenders in Orlando (shout out to Shelby and Tate). They have a selection of rotating beers as well as wine, mead, and sangria. Check the chalkboard to see what special flavors of red and white sangria they have on draft (the Apple Pie white is one of my favorites).The vibe is dark and cozy and it's dog-friendly! To top it off, they're attached to what might be the best pizza spot in Orlando, Ziggie's, and they'll bring the pizza you order right to you at the bar. A pesto pizza and a glass of sangria is my idea of a perfect night.

Casual place in Ivanhoe has a nice vibe. Beer list includes lots of Florida brews, IPAs to Ales. The awesome bar is one large tree slice. It's a stand-out, and worth seeing if you're into beautiful wood items. Go next door to Ziggie's for fabulous thin crust pizza. The two businesses share the space. It's a neat concept.

A true gem on Virginia Drive. We come here so often we should probably pay rent. The rotating sangria flavors, friendly bar staff, and music variety are what keeps me coming back almost every week. The beer menu also updates pretty frequently so there's always something new to try! I actually recommended this place to a couple I met at Target while wearing a Thirsty Topher shirt. I hope they made it and love it as much as I do.

Absolutely incredible spot. Great bartenders, very expertly curated beer selection, creative sangrias, fun vibe, great music and is connected to the best pizza in Orlando. It's truly not to be missed, and I recommend to anyone looking for real Orlando culture.

Decided to make this my first stop for mu bar crawl and was pleasantly surprised by the service and the selection of beers! I tried this ipa by central 28 and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy and it didn't feel crowded despite there being a fair amount of people when I went. Will definitely stop by again.

Am a regular up the street on Virginia at Santiago's and Fresh Market. I wanted pizza, so I opted for Ziggie's which is right next door. Got a Schilling London Dry cider while I waited for the pizza. I think I'll get a House sangria also.Nice little neighborhood bar. Great beer selection. Ciders. Sangria. Polished wood bar. Brick walls.

This is a great spot to grab some drinks! The bartender was super friendly and I loved the decor and ambience. The tables and bar are so pretty! They have a good selection of beers along with wine, sangria, and mead. They also have a delicious pizza place, Ziggie's, next door with a connecting area to walk through to order and they will bring your food over to the bar to enjoy there. During this visit we tried a really yummy Key Lime beer, a Belgian style quadruple ale, a berry sour, and a blonde ale. All were really good! Overall this is a cool location and I'll definitely return.

The Thirsty Topher is a GEM. It's a cozy spot that makes you feel like you're in a European bar somewhere far from Orlando. While they mainly have a large selection of draft beer, they've recently started making a daily red and white sangria. When I was there, I ordered the Bienvenida a España red sangria and oh boy was it DELICIOUS. This is not your typical watered down sangria with more fruit and juice than wine. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more versions of their sangria. They also now have two options for Mead. We tried the Mike's Hot mead, which was unique and flavorful. Not something I would order a full glass of but I enjoyed trying it. Overall, this is a great place to come grab a drink with friends, family, or just to hang out with yourself.
