The Tavares Dog House

I've been to this place a couple of times and both didn't disappoint. The Philly is one of the best I've ever had. I love how it's doggy friendly and their patio is really nice. Their service has been good both times I've been there but I also went during the less busy times of the day so I can't speak for the lunch or dinner rush.

Hey, this has the makings of a neighborhood place in the best undiscovered place in central Florida. Plenty of parking, even for boats! Fast friendly service!

Great service. Wings were great and cool vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I would return.

Took over an hour to get a patty melt and a cheese burger. Both were way over cooked and the fries were cold and raw. Dogs running around in the restaurant not out on the patio. Go anywhere else but here.

Bad food. Bad service . Only one server who warns you of her bad service. And yes the food tastes just as it looks. Had a hair in it. Not enough chips. At least they are dog friendly. They should get rid of food all together and be a dog bar.

I came to this place and keep coming back to this place because of the food the food is always made from scratch and there's so many good options. The downside is the service is suffering to stay the least specially if they're busy it takes a long time to get a server to actually take your order.

No no no no!!!! This place is absolutely disorganized and over priced came here one other time and spent almost 2 hour waiting for my sample platter and it was only one guy at the bar serving the entire dining room. This time it was 2 ladies in uniform, one taking drinks but worked at the bar and the other was on the floor taking the actual orders I guess. There was one other lady in regular clothes that didn't seem to be doing much of anything but walking around. That lady couldn't tell the beer delivery guy where it should go and all she did after that was clean up a drink. When we first got there it took a good 10-15 to even get acknowledged and our drinks, then it took another 10-15 to take our actual order, at this point I asked the lady how long it would take because I am on a lunch break. She told me it depends on what I will order, I told her I would do a sampler platter and she said it would only take about 15 min. Well 30 min later the sampler came out. The fried pepperoni is really good with the dipping sauce it comes and the fried deviled eggs are the best I've tasted around the central florida area besides the NBC grille in city walk my cons about the platter was the egg-roll mozzarella sticks were chewy and cold as the cheese was not melted or stringy like a true mozzarella stick and the jalapeño poppers was super undercooked as well as the bacon. We paid $14 for the platter and between two sodas we paid a total of $22. It's definitely not worth what we paid and the service. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Food average and watch the bill. States on door credit card fee, paid cash and our waitress left credit card fee on. When I asked for change on hundred dollar bill she brought a 20.00 plus two ones. Forcing a bigger tip plus credit card fees on cash. Manager says only they can remove so I'm sure plenty have been hosed.Dog friendly

So the service was slow at best,we ordered our drinks they sat on the bar for 10 min. As the waiter walked past them continually, we finally asked him to grab them for us. we ordered ten wings and received 9. We politely inquired about the shortage. Our waiter was a little dumbfounded and said he would get another one to make it right. It never came.The bathroom was disgusting, hold your breath. There was towels with shit on the floor. had not been attended to for hours

Went for lunch on a Sunday. New to area. They told us we could only sit outside because inside was reserved for Bingo. Inside should be reserved for any paying customer...We decided to give them a chance and stay as they had live music setting up on patio. We ordered hotdogs, there were only 2 of us. Took just about an hour to bring out 2 hot dogs with sauerkraut..they were ok.
