The Stubborn Mule is a great happy hour spot for 25% off appetizers and discounted cocktails. Everything I've had here has been really good and the ambience is nice. The location is very close to other bars and restaurants if you're looking for a night out.The Fig & Pear cocktail is AMAZING. It's perfectly balanced and the perfect drink if you're someone like me who loves something sweet! Service was quick, there's indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. This spot can get busy but it's always first come first serve at the bar area.

Visited The Stubborn Mule with some friends after a night stroll around Lake Eola. I started with their soup of the day which was a loaded potato soup. The flavors were good - flavorful, I would have liked the potatoes to be cooked more. We had the sticky pork belly starter which was very good. For my main entree, I tried their short stop burger. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. Burger was a bit dry and didn't have flavors I was expecting from the ingredients. I asked for some bbq sauce and some other condiments for the second half of my burger. The bbq sauce was the missing piece, it compliment the burger really well.

My partner and I recently dined here, and it did not disappoint.I ordered the Stubborn Mule Burger, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The beef was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with just the right balance of toppings to make every bite an experience. My partner got the Short Stop Burger, and they couldn't stop raving about how the sweet and savory flavors came together so well. Both burgers were accompanied by perfectly crispy fries that rounded out the meal wonderfully.The atmosphere at Stubborn Mule is lively yet relaxed, making it a great place for a casual date or dinner with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our drinks stayed topped off and that we had everything we needed.If you're looking for expertly crafted burgers in a trendy, welcoming environment, Stubborn Mule should definitely be on your list. We'll be back for sure to explore more of the menu!

Stopped in for brunch with a friend on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30. Made no reservation, place was full (good sign), was told there was a 20min wait or so, but we lucked out and found 2 spots at the bar! Haley was our bartender and she made delicious drinks and served us with a smile . We hit the ground running as soon as she approached us and ordered the Take Me To Church and the Amalfi Coast Mimosa then we fought over the Take Me To Church because it was soooo delicious! For food we decided to try the Short Rib Hash, the Sticky Pork Belly, and the Woke Up First 2.0. Everything was good but the Sticky Pork Belly was the star of the show. Will definitely go back. Good vibes, bright setting, TV's with all the sports if that's what you're into, and great walkable location downtown just a couple blocks from Lake Eola. I give it an overall 7.8 out of 10

You should swing by The Stubborn Mule if you want to hit the town and hangout. You can hangout at the bar and catch a game or make a reservation to have lunch or dinner. Its can get really busy but they get your situated in a timely manner.

This small, cozy, well-defined restaurant has a casual and very inviting atmosphere with the vibes of a lodge due to its brown, wooden walls and roof design, decorated with plants, colorful and vibrant wall art paintings. It offers a variety of food options for every palate. Recommended by our server Carlos (a.k.a. Zero), my friend and I tried the "Sticky Pork Belly", which I never thought I would love! I had the Raspberry Mule Cocktail which it was delightful! Carlos was very friendly and attentive making our dining experience fun, entertaining, and enjoyable! This restaurant/bar is my "stubborn" kind of place! Love it!

Stopped in for dinner before a show at The Abbey. Loved the salmon salad. Big portion. My husband loved his big burger too.

We came here with friends before attending a hockey game. It was a great spot for our larger group! There was plenty of parking nearby too. The service was good and food was tasty! We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely consider coming back again!

With only three minutes left before happy hour ended, I let my friends know I was ordering a drink while they were escorted outside to our table. The bartender nailed it--listening to my order, making my drink, and serving it in just two minutes. That has to be a Guinness World Record! My friends ended up coming inside, so I didn't have to rush through my drink. God really does answer prayers, even the small ones.After walking all over Disney, standing in line for hours, and riding 2-minute roller coasters, the food was exactly what I needed. The joy of seeing Mickey Mouse and the gang was matched by the joy I felt biting into my chicken sandwich. I would've eaten the plate too if I had some buffalo sauce left!The bartender's memory was incredible--she took our orders without writing anything down, which always impresses me. My memory is so bad I'd probably serve something that's not even on the menu! She was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was a cozy, typical bar/restaurant vibe. Highly recommended.

We had lunch here today. I had the soup of the day, vegetable beef, and chicken wings with blue cheese sauce. My wife had shrimp salad. For dessert we shared blueberry bread pudding with ice cream topping.Our waiter was very good. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the restrooms were clean.There is no parking lot but there was three hour free parking across the street.
