I'm shocked this pizza place isn't rated higher. We stopped by after a Walmart trip across the street, and overall, the experience was solid. The interior was clean, and there was no wait when we arrived. We ordered two kids' pizza meals (each came with one topping pizza, a drink, and a cookie), a 12" double-dough pepperoni pizza for me, and a 12" Tribune for my wife. The setup is similar to Chipotle--pizzas are prepared in front of you and run through the oven quickly. They're ready by the time you finish paying. We also tried the boneless buffalo wings, which took a little longer but were delivered to our table. The buffalo sauce was super spicy--so spicy that we had to grab a side of BBQ sauce for balance. The wings aren't coated in sauce; you dip them yourself which felt a little strange. The kids really enjoyed their pizzas, and I thought mine was great too. My wife liked hers but found it overloaded with toppings, which made it difficult to eat without it falling apart. One downside was the freestyle soda machine. Several options were unavailable, which was disappointing because I love those machines (when fully stocked). Another drawback was the price--it came out to over $80 for lunch (including tax and tip), which felt steep. We did notice they offer discounts for Disney and Universal employees on certain days, but you have to show a work ID, which I didn't have on me. Despite the price, we'll probably give it another try and look for ways to save. The food itself was enjoyable, and the experience had potential--it just needs a few tweaks.

My son and I stopped here before a movie. We have never been and have been wanting to check it out. Love the concept. Lots of great choices. The place is super cute we are inside but love the outdoor space for when we have nicer weather. Pizza was good they let us customize two sides differently so we could each get what we wanted. Pizza was thin and crispy which made a perfect to us. We split a 12 inch and it was plenty we each had three slices. The pizza came out super quick too. The lower rating was for the women taking out order. My son loved getting to watch it all being done and she had no energy. She never even smiled. One would think when you are making a pizza and you have an excited child in front of you because of what you are doing you could at least smile. It was as if we were inconveniencing her to order a pizza. And it wasn't like it was a madhouse and she had been busy. We got there shortly after opening and one family was sitting and eating already.

The concept seems pretty cool like a chipotle build your own pizza. The pizza itself was ok, not that great and then my husband ordered a calzone which they forgot to fold so it was essentially a pizza with half ingredients on one side and dried sauce on the other. When we mentioned it to one of the employees she told us we had to wait after the long line to have them make it right.

The make your own pizza or "publish" your own pizza concept here is awesome!! You can get a large pizza - enough for 3 people to split but we split between 2. We decided for a garlic bbq chicken on one side and spicy red on the other side. The quality of the ingredients was insane! There was fresh Gouda, mozzarella balls, arugula, basil, two types of garlic, and just endless ingredients and options. You can also get some beers on tap! The restaurant was clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. The pizza also cooks so quickly! Thin crust, crisp exterior, and nice oven baked taste. The menu here is a bit confusing, so even though I wanted to order a salad, I couldn't quite figure out how to.

We come here about once a month and enjoy the food here. Today I ordered my "usual" with olives, mushrooms, Italian sausage, roasted garlic and extra red sauce. Tough to beat!

The Pizza Press is located in the Hamlin area in Winter Garden. This is pretty close to our home and was pretty much the only restaurant around when we first moved here. We went here way too much when we it first opened. They got really busy and in effect the quality went down, and the pizza was not cooked enough. We haven't been here in quite some time but decided to give it another shot. We were very happy the food was how we remember it. They have really beautiful decorations for the holidays which is really nice. This is a create your own pizza fast food type place. You can dine inside or you can take it to go. I would recommend eating it here, it has never been the best when we took it home. When we first walked in there was one family in front of us and two employees making pizzas and one at the register. They did not greet us or even acknowledge us. The family of three in front of us took so long to order. They clearly had never been here, and the options are overwhelming, so I understood. However, one of the employees was helping them and moved at a snail's pace and then the other girl was making what I can only assume a to go or call ahead order. I really felt like a bother to be honest, we stood there for almost 10 minutes before we ordered. After he helped the family, he chatted for a bit with the other girl. We honestly never got an acknowledgment or a hello. To be honest, the service is what is bringing this location down. When you make your pizza, you start with the crust. They have the standard crust which is pressed in front of you but also have other options including cauliflower, broccoli, and gluten free. The next step is the base which includes sauces and base toppings such as minced or roasted garlic. The next step is the cheese, they have quite a few cheeses to pick from including mozzarella, feta, sharp cheddar, smoked gouda and more. After that comes the toppings which include meat and veggie options. You can add whichever you like when creating your own. After the cook the pizza, the last step is finishers which include toppers such as arugula or basil and dressings such as ranch and blue cheese. There are a lot of options at each step and little signs to help you along the way. I chose my favorite pizza, standard crust, red sauce, mozzarella, extra bacon and mushrooms, topped with parmesan cheese and a side of ranch. Delicious! My husband when for the cauliflower crust to save some calories and topped his with smoked gouda, red sauce, Italian sausage, black olives, banana peppers, sun dried tomatoes and topped with arugula. All in all, this is a really great place to get a customized pizza. It's neat because everyone can get their own combination and exactly how they want it. They are not the best price, we spent over $40 for two pizzas, a fountain drink and a beer. This wouldn't be the first place I go for pizza, but I do enjoy the customization. However, the employees' attitude is something that needs help. There have been a lot of restaurants built in the area, so I do think if they want to stay open and busy, they need staff training and they need something a little different. The pizza is good, but it is hard to compete with the chain pizza places that cost a lot less. This is definitely a place you go when you totally want to customize and want different ingredients. We will go back for sure!

Came to the plaza looking for lunch. It was either this or Toastique. I wish I had chosen Toastique. The Pizza Press had a lunch special where you get a free drink with a 12 inch pizza, so I thought that sounded like a good deal, but I had a hard time finishing just half of the pizza - and not because I was full, but because I was so underwhelmed. The crust was thin, but not crispy and it had no flavor. I asked them to mix the spicy marinara sauce with the regular sauce and that was a mistake on my part. The spicy sauce was too spicy for my liking and it overpowered everything else. Also, they don't give you reusable plates or reusable silverware; instead you get a paper plate and plastic silverware, which I think just makes everything seem cheap. Overall I was really disappointed and I don't think I'll be coming back. If you're looking for a quick and tasty pizza, go to Blaze!

A newspaper themed pizza place... offering Brazilian pizzas... what a horrible idea. The $20 pizza was thin, small and boring. The "Italian" salad was made entirely from Publix items on the shelf; pepperoni, pepperocini and canned roasted red peppers? Thanks for the packet of Kraft Italian dressing. Try harder. This place sucks.

The location itself is great. The food was good as well. Create your own pizza, calzone, salad, and pasta?? Count me in! The staff is lackluster and not willing to assist. Looked for a box for to go and they pointed to behind me which there wasn't any and rolled their eyes. There was no hospitality in their energy and had not cleaned any of the tables the whole time I was there (45 min) so not as clean as it could be.
