I have not been down International Blvd way in probably twenty years. It has turned into quite a place over that time. This is a bit of a haul from where I live but coming down here was actually fun. Valet parking makes it a breeze and The Oceanaire was a great reason to come. The Caesar Salad to start was a solid version of one of my favorites. The Florida Mahi Mahi - Grilled and Angry was good. It could have been a little more angry for my tastes, but I still enjoyed the dish.Normally I pass on dessert, but I went for the key lime pie and was glad I did. Sitting towards the back near the private room, the place was quiet which was wonderful. Service was the typical outstanding experience you would expect at a place like this. Overall, well worth the trip!

I was so excited to take my father here for his birthday over the weekend. I must admit, I was very disappointed. The only reason why I think I was disappointed was because I went to the ocean air seafood room in DC and I was blown out of the water with that experience (food wise). The Orlando location definitely has the service down to a T. From the host to the manager to the server they were all very welcoming very happy to have us very attentive. They even personalized the menu and put happy birthday with my dad's name on it at the top he was very happy to see that! We had great conversations with the staff. however, the biggest downfall was the food quality. I did not enjoy one single dish that came out. The calamari was very bland, the shrimp tempura was not fried hard enough, the seafood dish I got did not taste fresh at all, and I had to send it back. I couldn't even take a bite out of it, the drinks were really watered down, it just wasn't a happy food experience. However, with all the complaints, they did take care of two dessert dishes, along with taking the food items off the bill that we did not enjoy, which was very appreciated. The dessert was definitely phenomenal! Instead of calling themselves a seafood room, I definitely think they deserve the name of a dessert room They do comp valet, which is very nice. It's right outside the door. Definitely take advantage of that option.!

I was in the area for work. We decided to give this place a try.The people I was with had the seafood and they thought it was amazing. They ordered Oysters & seabass.I don't eaeat seafood, so let me tell you about the Bacon Steak for an app! A big piece of thick cut bacon. It was absolutely perfect! For dinner I ordered the Bone in Ribeye, and it was grilled to perfection. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back!

I've lived in the Orlando region long enough to know that August is not the time weather-wise to meander aimlessly at outside shopping venues except, when it's Magical Dining season and one of the best seafood restaurants in the area is offering incredible savings off their regular menu. ...and that my Yelp friends is the The Oceanaire Seafood Room located in the Pointe Orlando entertainment complex. As of August, 2024, Pointe Orlando is undergoing a wholesale transformation which will bring additional dining options to the Central Florida region. And that means unless you valet park, you will have to walk a few minutes from the parking garage to the restaurant, which is at the far end of the complex, dodging construction barriers along the way. But avoiding a near-death experience is worth it when you know there is foodie nirvana in the offing. And it was ever more anticipated since I dined here with Ms. Apple S. in celebration of her birthday month. Our server this evening was Tim, who provided excellent and gracious service throughout our leisurely meal. Complimentary warm Sourdough Bread with a Relish Tray started off the festivities. We then both decided on the New England Clam Chowder for our appetizer and we were glad we did. The Chowder was DELICIOUS! For my entree, I decided to upgrade to a 10 oz. Filet with Shrimp and Asparagus and Apple opted for the Coconut Crusted Florida Mahi-Mahi with Pineapple Salsa. The entrees were AMAZING! And finally, for dessert I had the Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding and Apple chose the Key Lime Pie. The Key Lime Pie was TASTY but, I have to say the Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding stole the show for me. It was incredibly moist and sinfully sweet...I LOVED IT! Thanks to the management and employees of The Oceanaire Seafood Room for the experience however, an especially big thanks to Apple S. for being born during Orlando's Magical Dining month...without her this review wouldn't be possible!

Ronnald M and I came here to celebrate my birthday month (lol it's been a week since my birthday). We were received by several friendly employees upon entering. They asked whose birthday it was, very attentive of the occasion. When you walk in you see an impressive sea food Ice bar display. We got seated in a nice booth. The menu even got a happy birthday on it and you can take it home after they put a bow on it. Very attentive to the extras! We came here to enjoy the first day of Orlando magical dining. They start off with complimentary sourdough bread and salty whipped butter. We both got the New England clam chowder which was excellent!! I had the Mahi Mahi which was with a pineapple salsa and very sweet but I liked it! The dessert was key lime pie which was delicious!Ronnald also enjoyed his steak and devoured the bread pudding toffee dessert.Overall really enjoyed this dinner with a good flow and excellent attentive friendly service!!

Our severs were very professional and the seafood was on point. We had a big group and the pace was perfect. You get what you pay for here. The food is high end and the bill was equally so. If you are ordering apps, dinner, desert and enjoying wine. North of $150 per person. But oh so good.

Food was excellent. Welcoming environment. Though my triggerfish was overcooked. Long dinner! Too dark to read the menu properly. Nice wine selection and cheesecake was delicious.

We had a wonderful experience at Oceanaire Seafood Room! We went for Magical Dining and the entire experience was better than we expected. From check in to check delivery, everyone was professional and gave the feeling of an upscale experience. Our server seemed kind of new but he still did a great job. He was knowledgeable about the menu and checked in on us often. As for food, we both did Magical Dining. We both ordered the shrimp and grits for appetizers, I got the chicken fried lobster, he got the filet and shrimp and for dessert I got the bread pudding and he got the key lime pie. The portions were perfect, it was just enough food. We left full but not uncomfortable. I'm so happy that Magical Dining introduced us to a new restaurant, it's definitely somewhere I'd visit again!

I had an amazing time at Oceanaire celebrating my Birthday. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, with its old supper club style, classic circular booth tables, and the superior service of the staff. Our Server Tom was simply outstanding, he was attentive to our needs and made some comical conversation with us. Made us feel special and added to the magic of my special day. We even saw Roger who always seems to remember us when we dine at this location. Our meals are always served as ordered with the pacing of the courses right on par. Filet Mignon was tender and delicious when I ordered the Whole Snapper for the first time and I wasn't disappointed. My only wish would be another location on the West Side of Disney. The International Corridor with the influx of tourists is the only reason we don't frequent The Oceanaire as much as we would like.
