Pleasantly surprised by the flavor, different options, and overall presentation of these dishes. It is PERFECT to go with a friend to split plates, tapas style or by yourself. You cannot go wrong with any dish you pick. I loved that they have a happy hour as well. Their kitchen is quick and service is excellent! The ambiance was great for a date night, treat yourself, or a place to catch up with an old friend. It has an elevated moody feel to it. Highly recommend you order- Penicillin cocktail- Eggplant | Soft but has a crunchy panko coating with the cheese at the bottom makes this a great combo - Sticky Ribs | Tender, falls off the bone- Miso Cream Noodles | It's a creamy miso infused sauce that is so tasty with the pork and mushroom. Like a miso carbonara. - She's Spicy Baos | I love meat but this oyster mushroom could convert me. Little spice but lot of flavor and textures- Duck Wontons | Full of meat and it's fried. You can't go wrong- Beef Skewer | Very tender and not heavy on the teriyaki which is perfect

The Moderne is hands down my favorite restaurant in Orlando. Ever since they opened, it's been my go-to for amazing food, great vibes, and consistently excellent service. Everything on the menu is thoughtfully prepared and packs flavor with every bite!Some of the highlights from my recent visit included their Korean Fried Chicken--perfectly crispy, juicy, and topped with sesame seeds and green onions, served with a side of cool ranch dip. I also loved the Sea Bass Skewer, which literally melts in your mouth. It has a subtle, fresh flavor that doesn't taste fishy at all despite its slightly fishy smell.From their January menu, I tried an amazing cocktail. It was fresh, with just the right balance of citrus and mint--so refreshing!Other standout dishes include the Spicy Vodka Pasta, which is creamy, indulgent, and has just the right kick. The Sticky Asian Ribs are another favorite--full of flavor with a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and while they don't fall off the bone, they're cooked just right. The Fried Rice was delicious too! One dish I miss dearly is the Soft Shell Crab. Unfortunately, it's no longer on the menu, but it was one of my favorites!On top of all this, the menu is priced really well for the quality of food you get. Every visit to The Moderne has been a delight, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Orlando. This is one of my go to late night snack spots. Getting a reservation is not too difficult and after 10pm (I believe) it's open sitting. Casual upscale vibes, great bartenders. Food is also so good. Kinda hoping they do the NYE event again this year.

The Moderne is an Asian tapas style restaurant specializing in unique flavors and craft cocktails. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and creates the perfect atmosphere for an intimate dinner experience. I would recommend making a reservation if you plan on going as it can get fairly busy near the end of the week/weekend.The drinks are delicious and they definitely do not skip out on the alcohol. The plates are really nice to share with the rest of the table but are equally as filling in case you wanted a plate to yourself. I am so sad I forgot to take a photo of the miso cream noodle, but it was so delicious I just had to dive right in!Happy eating!

What a cute vibe inside. I loved the decor it's very upscale. It was busy Saturday night but I was able to grab a sit at the bar. I was greeeted quickly and given a water but it took sometime to get a drink order in. Menus are digital so be sure to scan. I ordered the unsuitable for waltzing it was good but not as sweet as I thought it would be. The snowball in the middle is a fun part of the drink and definitely keeps it cold. I also got the crab Rangoon dip, this was definitely yummy I thought it was going to be hotter when it arrived but it was just warm but yummy nonetheless. I also ordered one chicken skewer because it is some small bites available there and that was super yummy and delicious and it was the right amount of food for me by myself.Definitely want to return to try more of the bigger items on the menu.

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened. I heard so much about it. I came for a friend's birthday and I had an overall good time but felt the food was a little less than what I expected. I ordered the Rangoon dip, the cucumber salad, chicken skewers, and crab and shrimp gyoza.The service was really good especially considering we were a party of about 12. The decor is lovely and very aesthetically pleasing for photos (which I failed to take because I was carrying on with my friends) I loves the bench style seats at the tables and was very comfortable. There's also a good amount of parking in the back of the restaurant. Now the food, the Rangoon dip wasn't at all reminiscent of crab Rangoon. It was a fondue like dip instead of a more cream cheesy like I had hoped for. The crab and shrimp gyoza looked delicious and by appearance of the seared side, I expected it to be crispy, instead it was soft which disappointed me. The flavor was pretty good tho. The cucumber salad and the chicken skewers were both lacking in any flavor at all. Both were sadly quite bland.The drinks were absolutely fantastic, their specialty drinks were very creative and offered an experience with each one. I'd go back for drinks definitely but the food was tragically a miss.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a date night or a fun dinner with friends. The cozy, Asian-inspired lounge creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The food was delicious, with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. My personal favorites were the Green Curry Udon, which had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess, and the refreshing Cucumber Salad. The cocktail menu was also impressive, offering a great selection of drinks to complement the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, though at times, it was a bit difficult to get our server's attention. Overall, a wonderful spot that I'd definitely return to!

I was super excited to try to this place since it looks super cute and I heard good reviews. However, I think most food items I got lacked flavor and simply put just salt. My whole party felt the same way with their food except when it came to the pasta! The portions for pasta were good as well but overall if I'm coming to this area I'd likely go somewhere else. Only the Miso noodle was worth coming back to.The server was pretty nice but seemed pretty occupied although it wasn't too busy. She refilled our waters towards the end and we had to get her attention for anything but I can't say anything bad.

This place is aesthetically pleasing to say the least. The drinks were pretty flavorful. The food? I'd say my cucumber salad was ok. Just tasted like wet cucumber and the peanuts weren't even crushed . They were whole peanuts. The vinaigrette was underwhelming for me. I had the Korean chicken wings which were more salty than flavorful. Given the amount of competition that's surrounding this restaurant, I'd say they should step their game up on the chicken.The wings barely had any meat on the bone.Our bartender was a fun person. I can't complain there.After all my excitement to finally try this place out, I'm disappointed. Yall give it a try, though. Maybe I went on a bad night, but I may not return any time soon.

Since moving to Florida 2 years ago, The Moderne still holds the spot of my favorite bar/restaurant. I've raved about this place to everyone I know. I love how they change the drink menus for monthly specials and let the staff have hands on in creating! I get the sea bass skewers (multiple) and spicy vodka pasta every time I come and it's always 10/10! The bartenders are always very personable and energetic. Perfect place to come whether it's with your best friends or on a date night.
