The Mason Jar

Scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy scrambled and were still yellow. Had lots of cheddar cheese on top, not just folded in corned beef. Hash was phenomenal and even though the biscuit wasn't homemade, it wasn't bad services. Absolutely superb. We couldn't ask for more bees flooding around us asking how we were. Could they get us anything? Could they take our plates? Could they fill us with more coffee? Can't say enough except that I don't have fiction. Show y'all how good everything was cuz we were starving and dove into it. Definitely a place to come for breakfast or any other meal, especially considering they have a chicken special. All you can eat on Sunday for $15.95

Holy moly this gem should be in my families regular weekend rotation. The Mason jar is good home cookin. The portions are perfect and the Tea is fresh. Our server Mallory was fantastic from the wait to the ordering and delivery of our meal it was super quick I and super friendly. We will definitely we back. Very busy but very attentive.

Well folks I think I found the local feed-mill, there no doubt about the popularity of this watering hole the non-alcoholic beverages here are served in volumetric portions that requires two hands to sip and the entrées come with (3) choice sides.Arriving here at the noon hour on the weekend it's likely you'll find a wait, there was a wait but not for us since there was only the two of us, but there were several herds tied out front and they weren't going to be seated anything soon. It seems some of the patrons here treat this as an event even though it's no a buffet and the food isn't served family style.This restaurant is well staffed with friendly servers, the decor is comfortable as are the entrées I think any time the sign on front of your building only says "home style cooking" they will come, especially at these prices.The Food - Open-face roast beef sandwich on white bread and mashed potatoes with brown gravy this seems to be a daily special I think it was $11.99. The thinly sliced roast beef was tender and flavorful and completely covered the bread and mashed potatoes definitely comfort food. The chicken tenders were uhm tender lightly breaded and tasty, the crinkle fries and cole slaw were good too but the collards with a few shakes of Louisiana Tabasco Peppers in vinegar was excellent the only way they could of been better is if they were served in triplicate, you can order these as all three of your sides you know.There are some interesting offerings here, I'd definitely stop in again to try more of them...

Had no idea this place was here and we often travel this way, not really finding anyplace to eat. Now we know! :) Just stopped for breakfast, it was good, and everyone was really nice. Seems like a well established kinda country place, that makes you want to try their fried chicken lol. We'll be back, to do just that.

Real friendly, great service and awesome comfort food. Clean bathrooms, tables etc. Just an all around great place.

You ever go into a place and look at the menu only to get confused what to order due to too many great choices? This is what happened to me today at the Mason Jar. On our weekly ride through Central Florida we decided to stop at the Mason Jar for lunch. Even though they were crowded we were able to be seated right away.Since I am on a diet I had the house salad. Everyone got a different item and all seemed to enjoy their meal. One of the guys ordered Peach Cobbler with Ice Cream, which looked very good.Overall the service, food and price were all good . We will definitely return in the future.

breakfast is my favorite meal. I am a regular at the jar. The service is the best . The waitresses are top notch if you want a a home-cooked meal, this is your place. 10/10 highly recommend you try them out.

First time there, great food and service, will definitely return! It was Wednesday, I ordered the special of Liver and Onions, I'll be back to try other specials and breakfast

Always excellent in every way!The food is always prepared well and served hot, the service is amazingly attentive, and the country diner atmosphere is delightful. We are here at least once a week for breakfast and lunch or dinner when we are nearby.
