It's clear that attention to detail and quality ingredients are a priority here.The cozy, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service with Katie made the meal even more enjoyable. They also host several events throughout the week here including a trivia night. I highly recommend The Local to anyone looking for a locally owned gem. We will definitely be back!

If you are golfing nearby, this is a great option for a quick bite. This restaurant is just getting started, and I think they will get better as they are open longer.We tried the corn queso, chicken sandwich and summer salad. All was very tasty, though it's worth mentioning that they forgot the cranberries on the salad. Not a huge item, but it's one my favorites so it was noted. Overall a solid ef; everything was good even with that slight item.What really shined for us was the location with a beautiful view of the sunset and friendly staff. The team went out of their way to make us feel welcome even on an evening where they were short staffed. They were super generous with their wine pours and had great suggestions. We appreciated their team a lot.

We stopped by opening night looking forward to trying the newest replacement for the neighborhood bar n grille. The last two renditions were nice but they didn't offer a menu that I thought was worthy of a nice golf course. I'm am happy to say the new owners, with their renovations now offer a menu worthy .Everything was very tasty. It was opening night so I tried the lamb chops right before they ran out. The lamb chops were absolutely amazing. I look forward to growing through the lunch menu and dinner menu over time. Stop by and enjoy a great meal.

Love this locally owned restaurant on the golf course. The new owners have a fantastic menu with friendly service. They also have a full bar with several tvs.

For a new place they're already spot on. The queso was rich and creamy with a lot of corn and avocado. The lemon aioli with the calamari was delicious. The tenders appetizer was big enough for a meal especially since it came with fries. And the fries, they're crispy and well seasoned, the BLT had just the right ratio of lettuce to bacon. This one is a keeper. It's a pub, but it's a pub done right.

Went back last night for the restaurants Bourbon and Cigar event. The event was well planned and organized. Representatives from both the Bourbon and cigar companies were on had to talk with patrons. We all had an enjoyable time, the food was great, and the wait staff was attentive to everyone's needs. I do wish that more people from the community would have taken time to have gone. The new owners are leaps and bounds about all the previous owners for how the patrons are welcomed.

I haven't been here since before Legends shut down and read that they did a total renovation. Frankly I didn't see any difference. Food was decent. Service was great (thanks Sara!). Hope to revisit with clubs soon.

After a few great visits since The Local opened, I felt compelled to write a review. The new restaurant is in classy, has great food and great service! I've had their burger and fries a number of times and it's been on point each time. The burger is thick and juicy with fresh toppings. The fries are some of the best in the area. Thick fries with a nice seasoning and a wonderful crunch! They have a decent selection of wine also. I've had the pulled pork tonight. The pork was done nicely and thankfully with the sauce on the side. It came with a nice cole slaw as well. The service here has been great. Each time we've been it's not terribly busy, but the wait staff are on their game and with a smile. The Local is a short drive from our home and is becoming one of our favorites quickly. Thank you to your team for bringing a great addition to the Clermont area! Oh, and the sunsets here are amazing. Looking out the back windows over the golf course in the evening is spectacular!

The difference here since the renovation is staggering. The food is not just edible now, but it was really good. Tried the burger which was very good and the shrimp cocktail special. The shrimp were some of the biggest I've seen. Service was noticeably more attentive than before as well as the whiskey selection. Definitely give this a try. Only down side is that you can't see it from the street so it looks as if it may be inside the private community, but its not. Open to the public 7 days a week.
