This is my go to spot for food in the Magic Kingdom. The interior is really bright and open with plenty of seating. The food is always tasty and they have fairly healthier options compared to other restaurants in the park. I ordered the chicken entree and customized the chicken to be grilled instead of crispy. The dish was super flavorful and light. The sauce is a little tangy and spicy. Really a great dish for lunch. My son had a create your own entree with crispy chicken tenders, fruit, and rice. He devoured it.The service was prompt and we were actually seated ahead of our reservation time. If you plan to eat here make sure you reserve 60 days in advance as reservations are required. Make sure you get a drink to go free of charge! I'll definitely be stopping by the next time I find myself in Magic Kingdom.

Skipper's Canteen in Magic Kingdom is a hidden gem that offers a unique and delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is fun and immersive, with playful nods to the Jungle Cruise ride and its skippers. The restaurant's decor transports you to an exotic, adventurous setting, filled with humorous details that reflect the spirit of the ride. The menu is a refreshing change from typical theme park food, featuring a blend of international flavors and creative dishes. My entree the soup and cachapas were both flavorful and well-prepared. The food is surprisingly fresh and elevated, offering something for every palate. The star was the dessert and phone did not eat first there. The service is top-notch, with the waitstaff embodying the witty and entertaining spirit of the Jungle Cruise skippers. They interact with guests in a fun and engaging way, making the experience even more memorable.Overall, Skipper's Canteen provides a perfect mix of delicious food, great service, and immersive theming. It's a must-visit for those looking for a unique, sit-down dining experience in Magic Kingdom away from the usual crowds. Highly recommended!

Skippers canteen was an absolute highlight of my magic kingdom trip. They have wonderful plant based options and as a vegan foodie, I was thrilled. We tried the squash soup, falafel appetizer, kids portion of vegetable curry, Indian flatbread, and sangria. We loved everything! The falafel comes on top of a bed of hummus and it was so delicious! The sangria was also the best I've ever had. It had cinnamon and spices in it that reminded me of my favorite Jewish food called charoset with apples, cinnamon, and wine. So freaking good! I can't wait to come back soon!

This was a serious let down. The service and atmosphere are great but the food is just so-so. The appetizers are better than the entrees, which is not a good sign. Skip this place as there are much better choices at Magic Kingdom.

Food was really good, server was amazing and she had a 6 year old as well so she understood my son accidentally dumping his drink.
