The Hometown Market

This is just a pandemic update. They require masks -this was August 1st - though the customers ahead of us did not wear them. They also provide hand sanitizer near the front door as well as at the other registers as you check out. They don't have social distancing marked on the floor but we did so (oddly, so did the ones in front of us: no masks but distancing - hoax or not a hoax, people?).Other than those virus details, not much difference. Produce at decent prices, and Donut King donuts.. We are not wine drinkers, but they seem to have a large selection. Also, the 50% off produce shelf is at the front of the store by the registers now.

Great prices and selection of cold cuts. One of the few places in Florida where I've found Setzer products. Unobtrusive strip plaza location.

Under new management and has it ever changed. Lots of unique fish items, snacks, and other unique items.

We had not been in there in a couple of years and went in on Sunday 5/11/23 and it was a mistake. They used to have fresh seafood now its frozen just like supermarkets. The deli had very few choices and was mostly empty, They vegetables looked like they were supermarket rejects as they did not look fresh and crisp. and alot of the shelving was dirty and some rusty .

They are now serving sub sandwiches in their deli. New owners in the last couple of months: very amiable and helpful. Sub sandwiches are easily enough to feed 2 people and loaded with meat and veggies. Very good. They still have the usual excellent assortment of vegetables and wine and deli items. Give them a try!
