The Hangry Bison

We ended up here on Valentine's night after ass-uming we could find a few seats at a bar somewhere more special night- oriented. We got a table for 2 right away in the dining room and were served by Jeremy. We weren't super hungry ( were hoping for apps at a bar! ) so we shared some truffle fries and a burger with a side salad. My date asked for everything at the same time, but the truffle fries came out first. When our burger came, all of the sauces that we requested on the side didn't come out and it took awhile to flag our server to grab those so we could enjoy our meal. Good drinks from the bar. The burger we created was good also- the build your own thing is nice! Liked the truffle fries also.

On the advice of friends, we came for dinner and it was a very solid recommendation. We did not have reservations but were on the early side and were seated with a party of 6 on a Wednesday. (We noted they were hosting a Bourbon Tasting event, which looked very fun. Spoke to some of the servers about that and it includes a several course meal paired with some bourbons, varying distilleries depending on the night, and it seemed VERY reasonably priced. Sign up, get the emails and get yourself to one of these!)Back to our dinner... server was very helpful. I had their version of Happy Hour Old Fashioned which was good. (I personally make a pretty great Old Fashioned so I have a high bar on this one). To order, if you want to "build" your own burger, you select various options and mark them on the menus. Really nice and easy way to get just what you want. I went with the Bison because when it's in your name, I'd expect it to be good. And yes, it was very good. Came just like I ordered, cooked perfect for me with Sweet Potato Fries that were very good! When we left the restaurant was packed so if you want to eat here, plan accordingly and it will certainly be worth it!

Omg !! Hangry Bison to the rescue ! We had a 12 person wedding party and had a reservation at another place on Plant Street for lunch ... they messed up the reservation ( I called 2x to make sure ) and blamed it on us ... the manager of this other place actually targeted the bride ( in her wedding dress) and told us to get up from the table and wait outside.... We had a reservation at HB for drinks at 4pm ( the bride and groom love their smoked old fashions ) I was so embarrassed and mad .. I called the HB and spoke to AJ the manager and asked if we could move our reservation up 2 hours .. and she said "give me 10 mins and come on down" We got there and AJ and Hyleigh welcomed us and made sure the bride and groom were honored and made a big deal of ! AJ brought them 2 glasses of champagne for a toast ... so great !! The food was amazing , the drinks were fantastic , the restaurant was clean and so much fun .... But the best part was the staff !! AJ and Hyliegh you saved our celebration and have life long customers from the Grogan family

Another great dinner at the Hangry Bison. I was supposed to go with a friend, but he could not make it, so I went alone. I came quite early even though my reservation was only at 8. I waited for a couple minutes, and was seated in a small table near the bar. I did the hangry smash as my drink (13 dollars), which was a strong and refreshing drink containing bourbon, syrup, and mint. I went for my reliable sockeye salmon burger (15 dollars) with salad on the side. While the salmon was a bit dry, it was still a great burger with the seasonings, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and balsamic. The salad was an excellent side with fresh vegetables in a bacon vinaigrette. For dessert, the creme brulee (10 dollars) just had the right amount of richness from the custard. My server was excellent. He provided great suggestions for the drinks and food, and informed me that if I didn't like it, I can always send it back. That was not needed as everything was great. It is still pretty crowded on a Saturday, so be sure to book a day in advance. The vibe is pretty social, but not too loud. Even though it was cold outside, there were many patrons braving the weather with the heat lamps. This is still my favorite burger restaurant in Orlando. With the great food, strong drinks, sociable atmosphere, and nice service, it is no wonder why they are popular and crowded. I heard they are opening another branch in Lake Mary area, and I can't wait to visit there too!

Hangry Bison never disappoints and is my favorite local spot to visit! Their build your own burgers are phenomenal- what a fun concept! The pretzel bun with the beer cheese and jalapeños just absolutely slaps any day, but especially during Florida's 3-5 days of Winter. Such a fun place with friendly service! Can't wait to come back soon!

Walked in on a busy holiday Friday night - 40 minute wait and was called in within 30 minutes. Riley took care of us the entire time. Drink orders submitted and served within 7 minutes.Apps and food orders in and out within a very acceptable few minutes - And everything was DELISH! The Bison Build option is crazy! Next time - Hanry Hour for sure!Keep doing your thing Hangry Bison. We'll be back!

This was my first time here and won't be my last! I loved the atmosphere, sitting on their outdoor patio on a Saturday afternoon. Their menu had so many great sounding options it was hard to choose. I ultimately went with a salad; it was so good and a large portion. They have a lot of adult beverage options as well. I will definitely be back, next time for a burger!

Amazing time last night with my BF for valentines!! We were greeted with friendly smiles and served by Eve who was exceptionally amazing!! We chatted for a bit laughed and I had a great time her coupled with the atmosphere that welcomed singles, families , couples etc and delish food, we will be visiting again in hopes Eve will be our server !! Check it out ! They don't disappoint

This is our solid go to in Winter Garden, took our daughter, son in law & grandkids for their 1st time this past Sunday. The food is always delicious and a big shout out to our server EVE!!! She was very attentive without being annoying, called us all by name and has a great personality! Thanks, Hangry Bison for your consistency in food quality and staff!!This is a place you can go causal or a little dressed fancy. Located right in the middle of everything!!
