The Greek Corner

I had a great experience at The Greek Corner! This place is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Greek food. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Inside is cozy, and the outside patio is absolutely adorable, especially with the string lights lighting up the night.I ordered the Garden Souvlaki with rice pilaf ($10.95), and it was packed with fresh, flavorful veggies with perfectly cooked rice on the side. The portion size was generous for the price! We also shared the Spanakopita ($10.95) among three of us, and it was a hit. So delicious, and there were 5 pieces to share. Overall, The Greek Corner offers fantastic, affordable Greek food in a lovely setting. Highly recommend it for anyone in the area!

Wonderful food and very attentive staff. Really enjoyed the outside dining with 74 degree December weather.The only drawback is the noise from traffic on Orange Avenue and the nearby train. We had an early dinner on a weeknight (4-5:30pm) on a weekday. I'm assuming non-rush hour times are much better.

Food was amazingly delicious The service was great, everyone here is very nice and friendly.And the place makes you feel like you're in a small Greek corner.

This is a wonderful place to stop by when the weather is nice. The outdoor seating area is shrouded with plants and little decors, and there's a nice few of the street. As for the food, we 3 enjoyed what we ordered: lamb was well cooked with little gamey flavor, appetizer platter had a wide variety of items to try, and the gyros were full of meat and veggies. I think the mere platter could've been better with an actual salad instead of 2 slices of tomato and lettuce. Service was meh. It was slow and friendly enough, just not very... warm and welcoming in my opinion. We also were waiting a good 30 minutes (ask for Togo box-- 10 min, print checks-- 10 min-- return checks-- 10 min)to close out since the outside dining area began to fill up. Regardless, it's a cute little spot to try with reasonable prices!

We loved everything about our lunch here. The food was fantastic. Fresh, delicious, and traditional Greek food is served. Fresh housemade Greek salads and soup. The gyro plate was gigantic and tasty. Don't skip the Greek wines if you are a wine drinker. The restaurant has been around for years and has that Back in the Day vibe. Our server, Tanner, was a joy, We'd go back any time.

Lunch crowd was sparse for a mid week visit in the height of the lunch hour. I waited to be seated as a server assisted a gentleman with payment. As he left she said without looking up, take a seat wherever. I should have left at this point. I sat at an outside table with seats so worn I sank five inches lower than expected. I felt like I was a five year old at a table slightly too high. The menus presented were visibly dirty and worn. Fries were the first thing I tried....soggy and disappointing. I am speechless when I take my first bite of the chicken. I have nothing good to report about the chicken souvlaki that was served with both warm and cold chicken. It was dry, it was unseasoned, it was from yesterday. I picked out the tomatoes out because I forgot to request no tomatoes...so much tzatziki to hide the nasty chicken and cold pita. Dirty ketchup bottle nailed it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Greek Corner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm welcome and felt right at home.The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming and cozy, with lovely decor that transported me to Greece. The menu was extensive and offered a wide range of traditional Greek dishes, as well as some creative twists on classics. I ordered the Greek Souvlaki, which was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.In addition to the wonderful food, the prices at The Greek Corner were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes. The portions were generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied and content.Overall, I would recommend The Greek Corner to anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine in Orlando. The food was superb, the service was good, and the atmosphere was charming. It's clear that the staff take pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. I will definitely be back soon!

Nice little Greek place in the downtown area across from the Bay. When you get here, you feel like you're are in a greek taverna with nice outdoor space and casual indoor seating. we sat inside as it was hot out this evening. The server was a little shocked by my requests for items not on the menu. I requested a side of sovlaki, but that was not an option unless I ordered it as a meal.So I went with their version of a Heritiki salad AEGEAN Salad with grilled chicken and a side of Gyro meat. Salad was very good, but all the meat and chicken was a little overcooked, which made it a little dry.Everyone else had good gyro sandwiches, and they loved it. Just was my portion of meat. Still fun time!

This restaurant has such a quaint feel to it, with a very laid back atmosphere, which is part of the reason we love coming. The service is always great! Staff are super friendly and attentive. I docked a star because the food can be hit or miss. I absolutely love the fact that they offer a side salad as an option with your sandwich, for no upcharge! They give you a generous portion, and the dressing is homemade deliciousness. The gyro is where I sometimes have a problem. Half the time it come out piping hot, stuffed with meat, toppings, and tzatziki. Other times, it's only half stuffed and sadly lukewarm. Consistency is a problem. I'll still keep coming though because the flavors are all there and the staff is so wonderful, and just hope that I experience more of the good days than the off days.

Just enjoyed a great casual dinner @ the Greek Corner. Sat outside and enjoyed the sunset. Shared the homemade spinach pie and Aegean salad (Hillbilly salad in some Greek restaurants. Also had their original Gyros. Food was spot on. We asked our server not to rush and she obliged. All in all a great meal, we look forward to returning!
