The Gravy Spoon

A good restaurant in terms of food quality, customers that will order and wait an hour and a half for food.... And some damn good food to say the least!! However, even though it was classic night, the fact that I had to wait an hour hour and a half for food is a bit ridiculous. I've never waited for food this long at no other restaurant/food truck I've ever been to. What made matters worse, is when one of the owners told me that there was gonna be a wait, I asked her how long was the wait, and then she told me I don't know. I would've waited anyway, so a time wouldn't have scared me off what is the principle of just not having an answer any at all when I'm sure they knew that it was going to take some time because of the amount of people that ordered. They definitely need a better system as far as that's concerned. As far as food quality taste is delicious and I am curious to go back another time when it's probably not so packed to try some other things on their menu that I heard were great. For now it's a 4 with potential.

Last night, April 19th, I visited the gravy spoon. The food was so good! I purchased the fish platter with fried okra and cabbage. I also got the dump crumb dessert.. The food was nicely seasoned, so much flavor. Not salty. Fresh and hot. The ladies are personable and helpful. This spot is a good choice. Try them. You will not be disappointed.
