The Drift Kitchen & Bar

We stayed at the hotel after our flight to Miami was canceled, and we had to fly to Orlando getting in after midnight. We had the breakfast buffet, and it was very good. Choices were like any buffet, but most welcome after 4 hours of sleep. The best part was our server, Michealada. She is kind, warm, and friendly. Very considerate and attentive, she was so happy when talking with us . She has true customer service style, and that is what we needed after a long , delayed flight and before our train ride to Miami. Their airport shuttle driver, Ed, was fantastic! He took us right to the train station, and we had a great conversation.

Service was restored impeccable. Wonderful tropical atmosphere. The food is generally light fare to match the ambiance. In the beautiful Opal Grand Hotel. Whether eating inside or on the patio, The Drift is in a classOf its own
