Went here for happy hour and all the food was TOP TIER , the peri peri chicken was flavorful , I really loved the sauce in the Nashville chicken sandwich . The garlic Parmesan fries were delicious. I also like the garlic aioli (green sauce ) and the orange habanero type sauce. I forgot to order the meat balls so I will definitely be returning here. This place is nice for a little date.

We enjoyed a tapas lunch at The Drake. The space is very stylish, there's a nice variety of small plates and mains, and there are quite a few interesting wines by the glass.Crab and Spinach Fondutta was essentially a spinach dip with a layer of nicely broiled cheese on top. It was listed as coming with house-made sourdough, but that turned out to be toasted rounds more like crouton consistency. I think I would have enjoyed untoasted sourdough more. The meatballs came with the same toast. They were good, and the very savory sauce was probably the highlight of everything we had.The Florida Coast Ceviche was a Peruvian-style ceviche consisting mainly of shrimp and snapper, quite citrusy.Over all I would say there were no homeruns, but it was a pleasant and quick lunch.Service was friendly and fast.

The Drake has an elegant, classy atmosphere with a playful twist thanks to the bar's fun duck-themed nods. It's an inviting space downtown that sets the tone for a great evening. It's close to Lake Eola, which is great for catching a meal before a show at the Dr Phillips Center. The food was flavorful and well-prepared--standouts for us were the Drake Burger (it was huge) and the duck entrée, both of which were absolutely delicious. However, there was a bit of confusion with the tapas. Our waiter explained that the restaurant was tapas-focused with portions larger than typical tapas and designed for sharing. Based on this, we ordered three of them, but they turned out to be standard side or small portions. The goat cheese croquettes were tasty, but there were only three, which felt a bit underwhelming. Even the crab and spinach dip came with minimal bread, and we had to request extra. For the price, I wish I had ordered an extra entree instead. Would've been more filling and cheaper. Despite this, the quality of the food and the unique atmosphere make The Drake a standout spot. I'd recommend it with the caveat to clarify portion sizes when ordering. Will definitely be back to try more or their menu.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love it when a chef owns his/her own restaurant. This restaurant is barely a year old, and is killin' it in Downtown Orlando. Staff were friendly and attentive. The location is easy to find. Seating is comfortable, and is not crowded with guests seated elbow to elbow. The ambience is clean, bright, relaxing, and contemporary.Sydney is a great bartender and waitress. She prepared the perfect drink for me. I will return to see her again in March. The Benedict was absolutely delicious. What a spin on the benny! This restatement does not serve anything average. Elevate your palate!

Finally got here for a special team lunch today. The interior is beautifully designed and feels intimate... loved all the greenery. We were a large group of 10 but the service was swift and accommodating. The menu isn't super extensive but there was plenty of variety for our crowd. We LOVED the goat cheese and squash croquettes but the fried grits were a bit bland. The beet salad was so delicious... I'll be back for that for sure. They had great cocktails too. The Pie with a purpose was good... but they were a bit heavy handed with the truffles. A little pricey for the location but the food was good, the service was great and the cocktails were excellent. We'll be back!

One night in Orlando and I'm so glad that we found The Drake Kitchen & Bar. Here they do locally sourced internationally inspired dishes with a menu that changes seasonally. We went the tapa route and ordered a few different sharable dishes. Florida coast ceviche: I really liked the coconut sauce and all the different types of seafood from snapper, to shrimp, and scallops. I'm more used to a more citrus forward ceviche where all the seafood is cut into similar bite sized pieces, but I really enjoyed their version of ceviche. Truffle duck pate: If you're a pate person like me (I know it's not everyone's cup of tea), I would 100% recommend this dish! The rich pate with the pickled veggies and a bit of their sweet mustard -- it hits all the notes perfectly! We got a second order of the cristini and savored every bite. Zatar spiced flatbread, they say it serves 3+ but couples, don't let that deter you from ordering it! My favorite dip with the eggplant with the tahina verde coming at a close second. Autumn beet salad was perfectly dressed and had a lil fried goat cheese ball that really made it so creamy and delicious. If there are truffle fries on the menu, just know that I will be ordering it. We got our fries with their flight of homemade ketchup. Yum!

I visited The Drake for the first time for their weekend brunch. I was having myself a little "treat yourself" day while my husband stayed home with our new baby. After getting a massage next door, I decided to indulge in a boujee brunch by myself. I got there right when they opened at 11 and was the first table of the day, so needless to say, the service was top notch. I tried the Caza Cafe which is their version of an espresso martini made with tequila and Mexican huatusco espresso -- it was divine. For my main dish, I ordered The Drake Benedict which is braised oxtail served on top of grits cakes, topped with perfectly poached eggs and a gochujang hollandaise sauce. It's also served with crispy fondant potatoes on the side. This dish was so hearty and delicious! I couldn't finish it all and took some home for leftovers later. The restaurant itself is modern and cozy with great natural light and and adorable outdoor patio. Once the weather gets nicer, I'd love to sit outside and check out their dinner menu. Their dishes all sound very unique and innovative.

At first looking at the menu I was a little bummed because I'm simply not one for fancy meals and such BUT...First of all the place when you walk in is very nice. Not very spacious but nice. Our waitress was Hayley, I hope I spelled her name right and she was super sweet. BONUS hahaNow for food we got the appetizer of Zaatar Spiced Flatbread. The sauces were not for me BUT the bread tasted exactly like the zaatar pies we make at home. DELICIOUS!For main dish I got the Gochujang BBQ pizza OMG delicious! I am so glad I got it, was a little worried at first but ended up being a WIN.I had my doubts about you Drake but turns out you are fabulously delicious! Keep it up!
