It was my first time trying out the diamond horseshoe after almost 2 decades of coming to Disney World. I had heard great things about it so I couldn't wait! The atmosphere was truly immersive, but unfortunately that ended up being my favorite part of the experience. Frontierland is my favorite land in Magic Kingdom, and the atmosphere inside does a superb job of capturing an old western saloon vibe. So I was already excited as soon as we sat down! You definitely cannot beat the price here, but unfortunately, the food is very average if not below average. The full spread includes salad and bread, turkey, brisket, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, cranberry sauce, and the dessert. All of the food tasted like it was right out of a bag. There was no genuine preparedness to anything. The stuffing was clearly instant stuffing, the mashed potatoes tasted like what you would get in your high school cafeteria... I'm not trying to be harsh or exaggerating, they taste spot on what I used to eat in high school haha! The mac & cheese desperately needed salt and pepper. Actually, most of the stuff was under seasoned, if not seasoned at all.The turkey was dry, the green beans were green beans-- Which I have noticed, if you want any kind of green vegetable in a quick service or restaurant buffet style, Disney is always going to serve you green beans. Probably because it's the cheapest out of all the green veggies, but I would much prefer if they shelled out some extra money for broccoli or asparagus.Dessert was all right if you have a big sweet tooth. Which I do, however, this stuff I could tell just by taking one or two bites that it would be an instant stomach ache. It was a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream so I just picked at it a little bit. My friend pretty much ate the rest haha. I just don't know how to really describe what you're getting here besides, it's extremely mediocre. Like you could go spend six dollars on the eggrolls in Adventureland and have a better tasting snack than that entire meal. I absolutely love Disney, but in this economy, you definitely want to be smarter with how you're spending your money. Or you could be a family that saved up for this Disney trip and don't care what kind of meal you spend your money on haha. Just depends on who you are! I know for my sake, I have to be choosy with where I spend my money and it's upsetting when you pay for something that isn't very good at all. So overall, it's a bummer to have the perfect set up and ambience for a great dinner, and the food is just basic cafeteria food. I imagine Disney continues to serve this kind of food because no matter what people are going to go there and eat it regardless. But hopefully if more reviews come out, they'll take the time to redo the menu with some fresher, more quality ingredients.

This was my first time eating here.. this type of family style/communal plate sharing was a new concept at that time. I found it to be beneficial as less food was wasted. The servers in this type of environment seemed to be less taxed by the number of trips made for refills or additional items. The food was quite tasty -- similar to a thanksgiving meal. The service was quick, but I think this is because of the limited menu choices.

It's kind of interesting how I've seen so many polarizing reviews of this place. Also if you really want to know how interesting this place gets - you'll notice if you eat here for lunch, it is 100% guaranteed to be one of the few places that won't be packed in Magic Kingdom. I ate here 3 times in one week (due to a discount we had) and never once was this place more than I'd say 25-50% full during the peak of lunch hours. The reason why is this AYCE setup is pretty pricey as the cost is the same for lunch and dinner and I can understand why nobody would want to pay dinner prices for what is seemingly plain old boring American Thanksgiving style comfort food. Who wants to pay all that during lunch for AYCE turkey, pork loin, pot roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, Mac & cheese, salad and dessert?Well luckily for us we didn't have to deal with the crowds for this b/c the food was pretty damn good. The turkey was perfect as were all of the other protein choices I mentioned. The stuffing here is addictive and to die for, especially when soaked in their crazy good turkey gravy. And I mean, the green beans (French beans to be exact) are also super addictive. If you don't nosh on this constantly, you're missing out. Plus the salad is amazing, and the dressing they use is soooooooooo good. It's amazing that I even made it to dessert which is their deranged good Toffee Cake. It's basically a giant hot fudge sundae mixed with a chocolate chip cookie and toffee candy. It's probably 5000 calories or something but I don't care - it's criminal not to enjoy this dessert at its fullest b/c it's beyond yummy and decadent. The service here is also nice and here's another bonus - the A/C in here is super nice and cold b/c it's never crowded, so if you do come in for lunch on a hot day, you will be one happy camper. A+++++++ for the awesome food and terrific experience in each of the 3 times I was here all week.

The pork was a little dry but the rest of the food was on point. I actually absolutely loved the pot roast. The salad could use more dressing. Service amazing as always. It's family style and they bring as much as you want. I prefer the one next door it's more private and nice atmosphere.

Christmas dinner here in Magic Kingdom was awesome! We had the best seat in the house and our server was fantastic. My only star deduction was the food was pretty salty but part of that might be me knit picking and part of it could be I just didnt drink enough water. This is an all you can enjoy experience and they will keep bringing you whatever you ask. Make sure to book your dining reservation asap when you can in the Disney app to get a spot. There are no walk ins!

Ate here in Magic Kingdom with a large group. Our server was kind and especially helpful. I was able to eat bread, stuffing, Mac and cheese, as well as string beans, salad, matched potatoes and other non gluten items (I'm celiac). For dessert I had an apple cake and ice cream. The apple cake was just okay but the rest was delicious. After a long day, to sit and enjoy Thanksgiving food with friends was quite cup filling. Disney does a great job with allergies and this was no exception.

After years of going to WDW we finally stopped in at the diamond horseshoe. It was a pricey but overall we enjoyed it. Our party felt like we had been served more than enough food during our visit; the food was really good also. Our waiter was attentive and kept checking on us. The entire ascetic of the room was fun and lively.

It was wonderful to be able to eat the food from Liberty Tree Tavern and be able to find a seat. It was not busy at all and we were able to walk up and get a table right away.
