The Deli Downtown

This is one of my favorite little DT WG spots. It's tucked away from all the hustle and bustle and has the cutest little courtyard to eat at on a nice day!The place is so homey and everyone is always so pleasant and patient (when I can't make up my mind because I want it all). My fave go to Sammy's are the Chicken Salad on a croissant and the Italian!! Whatever you choose to eat will be made with love and I'm pretty sure you'll be back to visit!

Have been here twice, both on Sunday afternoons and it's usually pretty bustling! The first time I ordered the Italian sandwich and the perfect sandwich. Both delish, I thought the bread had a great crust to it and both weren't too dry. Ordered the pasta salad as a side and was unfortunately a bit disappointed, I think it has a lot of potential to be much better. I was surprised it was just cooked pasta tossed in balsamic glaze with minimal add ins (I can't remember if it was bell peppers or sun dried tomatoes?). The second time I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, yummy but felt like the portion was a bit small... or is it just cuz I finished it so quickly?Service is always friendly and it's nice that it's connected to Piccolo. Cute local deli. I'll be back!

We went there after the last Winter Garden Christmas parade and their sandwiches were amazing! It came out super fast as well, and their staff is like a well oiled machine! I also like that you can get your favorite coffee next door. The patio is nicely shaded and is nice and cool during the summer.

I always forget about this gem of a place but anytime i go back, I remember how amazing it is! So many yummy sandwiches or wraps to choose from and they even have gluten free bread which is so accommodating! I love creating my own sandwich! The food is delicious and everyone always leaves satisfied and full! It's super quaint and cute inside and everyone is very helpful and friendly! Need to go back soon!

Nice little side street sandwich shop. Americana at its finest. Got a pressed turkey, bacon, tomato on Cuban bread along with a tomato bisque. Hibiscus tea was kind of sweet: I expected a more delicate flavor.Prices are reasonable and service is efficient.

After a great suggestion from Allie I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich. What a great choice. This was easily one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Over the years I have had many friends who worked at the Deli and they have all loved it. The owner is personal and friendly. Simply put the deli is a huge part of the local vibe and culture you get when you go to downtown winter garden.

Cute little sandwich shop off the main drag in DT winter garden. Probably my favorite thing about this restaurant is the selection of bottled SAUCES that you can complement your sandwich with. We got the tuna and pastrami sandwiches, they were decent. There's a coffee shop on the other side of this restaurant which is a neat addition. Overall cool place with a laid back and quieter vibe.

Cute little spot in downtown! Friendly staff. They were out of beet salad which I was really looking forward to having but the salad I had with the chicken salad was delicious overall. And the substitute for the beet salad was quinoa salad which was also delicious

Not bad. Just disappointing. This place is in the very fancy section of town. It's surrounded by boutiques and one-of-a-kind shops. Plus the reviews were good. As a result, we were ready for some delicious, creative sandwiches. We got two Reubens and two caprese sandwiches. The sauerkraut in the Reubens was soaking wet. As a result the delicious marble rye bread was wet and mushy. It turned what is supposed to be a delicious, tart and sweet genius of a sandwich into a hot mess. We also got two caprese sandwiches. They were fine. By that I mean, they weren't bad but neither were they delicious. They were dry and frankly uninspired. The worst part is that I had an entire conversation with the cashier about adding salami to one of the caprese. When we got the sandwich; no salami. I brought it in to get it added and the guy told me that if I want something extra, I have to pay for it. Obviously! That's why I asked for it when I ordered. I got the receipt texted to me, but it only had a total. I can't tell what's on it and what isn't. Since I asked the kid at the register to add it, I would have thought he would have done that. They refused to make it right. They told me I could wait in line, which now had at least 10 people in it, and pay for salami. Had I done that, everyone else in the group would have finished lunch by the time I was done.Disappointing sandwiches. Disappointing customer service. Disappointing lunch. Life's too short to have sandwiches that are just OK.

The sandwiches were really good. We ate there a couple of times while in town. The first time because we just arrived at the Grand Hyatt and we were starving . We went back because they were good.
