We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday, as our whole family absolutely loves seafood, especially a crab boil. The location has a parking lot, which I'm always thrilled to find. This was going to be a 3-star review initially because they were short-staffed and were out of a few things. That being said, the service was really great, the crab boil was delicious and we had a great time in the end. The seafood within the boil just melted in your mouth. I liked the seasoning options available and of course, I love that they provided plenty of napkins and bibs for us messy crab boil eaters ;) The vibe is fun and the restaurant decor is cute. I'd definitely order takeout from here, but am unsure if I'd dine-in again. I would like to believe I would, maybe with not as large of a party and when they have a full staff.

Was going to be a 3, but the boil and the service saved it. I came to The Dancing Crab recently with my mom as we love seafood and she had been wanting to try it out for a while. Our server was attentive, kind, funny, flexible, and made great suggestions. She made it an overall good experience. We shared a lobster bisque, a family combo boil with popping sauce, and a pair of Arnold Palmers. The bisque did have a few lobster clumps in it, but was pretty salty. We did thoroughly enjoy our seafood boil! The popping sauce is a must-try because why whose between, butter, lemon, garlic, or cajun when you could have them all?! We had some to take home and enjoyed it jsut the same the next day. Might be specific, but I appreciate that the corn was fresh; I've had seafood boils from places where the use frozen or otherwise prepared corn and it tastes like wax, but not here! While the overall ambiance of this restaurant is fun, with cool classic car and road trip dinner details, I was highly disappointed by the state of the bathrooms. It smelled awful and was not very clean. For an establishment where you primarily eat with your hands, I really expected more sanitary conditions in the restrooms.

Came for Thirsty Thursday karaoke What a blast!!! DJ was killin it and everyone singing was liiive!! The vibes were great , food was nice & tasty We ordered the Cajun fries, a 1/2 pound shrimp and 1/2 pound sausage in popping sauce medium and it came with potatoes and corn. The popping sauce is all of their flavors mixed. All of it was perfect, nice and salty large shrimp , perfectly boiled potatoes and corn. Service was on point , we were seated quickly and food came out fast as well. Next time maybe we can make it for happy hour Definitely can't wait to visit again !

My husband had heard me saying how I would love to visit a seafood boil spot in Orlando and he surprised me with coming here to the dancing crab. I must say the decor is quite cute. Antique cars, lots of attention to details when it comes to lighting and even the tables. Our waitress Mia was friendly. The restaurant was not as full but two large parties. Now the food. The reason why we are all here today! I was sooooo disappointed with the food and wait time. We will start with the wait time. 45 minutes we waited. No organization within the staff! We ordered oysters and they finally came out 45 minutes to be placed at anther table. After a few minutes they finally realized their mistake the came back and placed the table on our table which I had to say no thanks because I just watched how the server and the group of people talked over my plate and and even asked the server to leave it. Our food came after I told them we had a movie (which we did in less then 20 minutes) The clam chowder is not a biscuit really a soup. It was good. It had a lot of clam. The crab was a complete disappointment. Don't waste your money. Every leg was empty. The shrimp was ok. The corn was HORRIBLE. Their water had an after taste. The only good thing was the lobster. That's the only good thing. After we finished swallowing the food because we were such in a rush; Our oysters finally came out. Cold and felt like it was just left there until someone remembered. This was so sad since I was in such a mood for seafood boil. My husband promised to find a better place for next time. So tuned but we are out for the hunt on a great seafood boil place because "The Dancing Crab" was definitely not it. Key not the restaurant wasn't full but I did see our waitress tell the hostess she couldn't seat any more in her section because of the large party and the few tables she already had. This is sad because it really goes to show how poor the employees are trained and a lack of management involvement.

The dancing crab is one of my favorite seafood spots. Great music, quick and accurate service, delicious food (oysters are the best!) and did I mention, they have 2 for 1 margaritas and other drink specials. They also do a karaoke night (I'm not sure what day) but I've never been. I go on lunch break often and it's honestly so nice because they get it right every time. Don't take my word for it though, try it for yourself!

I do not have any new pictures once again. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved it. Service was OK. It wasn't too busy so not enough waiters waitresses inside wasn't as loud on Sundays. They do have a karaoke this time we came on a Saturday so it was a little bit better for conversation. My recommendation as this is a restaurant that caters more to the boiled Seafood is add a fried fish combo dinner plate for those who aren't the biggest fans of the boil options.

The place was very clean . I showed up right when it opened so the service was really great since it was not busy yet. I have tried Mr and Mrs Crab before (see previous review) and let me tell you stop going there and please make the Dancing crab your new regular spot. Happy hour is amazing , the food is to die for. If you know seafood boils you know 2 things are the most important , the sauce then the seafood choice in the bag. Well they get a 100 on both. I could not stop eating. Shrimp was deveined , very clean , very mindful. My daughter had the scallop appetizer and I was expecting baby scallops oh no they were huge not overcooked and you get 10 of them. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

If you've ever had a good seafood boil, you won't have the same experience here. My boyfriend and I are seafood boil enthusiasts and were on a search to find a good one in the general Orlando area. The decorations and ambiance are nice, but the service was very cold and unwelcoming. I didn't really like my boil and I thought it was a problem with the sauce so I asked for a side of a different one and the server never brought it over. The sauce that I got on my boil (popping sauce) was super watery and something in the seasoning really threw off the whole flavor. It just tasted like soggy seafood because the sauce was so watery, and I honestly ended up sending it back because we don't have the money to waste in this economy. The fries were really good, but not worth $6 in my opinion. Overall just not a good experience and I probably wouldn't go back.

My first seafood boil! I inadvertently went to Dancing Crab on Thursday, which is apparently karaoke night. It was fun to watch, but it did get really loud inside the restaurant. Wearing the gloves and bib and eating with my hands was quite the experience! The seafood combos are the most popular on the menu, and from what I've been told, reasonably priced. I ordered seafood combo A, which came with snow crab and shrimp. All the combos come with potatoes and corn on the cob. Most of it was cooked really well and the sauce was very flavorful! I chose garlic butter seasoning with medium spice level. I was not a fan of the grilled oyster. Unfortunately, there was too much seasoning that I could not taste the oyster at all. I would definitely recommend this place though, and am looking forward to going back!

We have eaten at this location many times since they opened. While it does not have amazing food or fantastic atmosphere, it is consistently the same food. I started with a margarita. It was a decent drink. We ordered the Family Dinner special ($57) for 11b of snow crab, 1/2 lb of shrimp, 1lb of sausage, 2 corn, 2 potato and 2 eggs. We asked for them to hold the eggs and requested to add an additional half lb of shrimp (10.99) and potatoes (3/$6). We asked for the popping flavor (garlic butter, Cajun and butter) combination in medium. When the food came out, it didn't appear as though we got the extra shrimp. When we asked the waitress, she said "ohhhh that's my fault. I forgot". They brought out the extra shrimp right away. All was good. The medium level heat was perfect for me, too hot for my husband. Regardless, it is a consistently decent meal in an "eclectic atmosphere" (large karaoke stage, claw machines, and life size Blues Brothers statues). It's worth a stop. I think the food quality is as good as the place with the cheddar bay biscuits but definitely not as wide a variety of options. Give them a shot-we keep going back for a reason!
