Heyyyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyyys!! This place is so cute inside, no signage out front but if you find this on the map it's time to come step inside. It's a whole vibe. You don't find many of these in Sanford but this is a true gem. Come check it out friends you have to give them a try. Support local businesses!! Cheers

When people describe their favorite bar, this is what my mind goes to. Located in a heart of downtown Sanford this gem is unique. The Customer Service is absolutely phenomenal as where the drinks everything is handcrafted and unique. The selection is impressive and unique. This is not the place to go and order a jack and Coke but to tell your friendly bartender what you're in the mood love and let them take the wheel. The low lights in candle (electric) make this the perfect date night spot. This is very adult friendly and that's totally different crowd than the typical Sanford first Street lounge or West End . I look forward to many more visits.

Cute little place. Has the "speakeasy vibes". Nice dark room with beautiful seats. There's several tables and a bar area to sit. We sat towards the back cause we were a rather large group of 6. In the back there is a stage area so looks like they might have performances as well. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! She made some great drink recommendations based off the kinds of spirits we usually drink. All her recommendations were on point! When we got our drinks, they were perfect, I had the aviation (because its a favorite that is hard to find on menus). It was the perfect blend of gin and Violette. I loved every sip of it. Prices are great and the drinks are strong! Great place to come bar hopping. There's lots of bars in the area and this one is definitely a must!

I absolutely love this place! They have amazing cocktails and the decor inside is gorgeous. It was Midsummer Nights Dream themed when I went and it was fully decorated. I felt like I was in a wonderland. They have different events and themes that go throughout the year. Definitely a great spot to go to if you are ever in the Sanford area.

This place has great potential and I wish it the best. We really enjoyed the drinks here. They had some fun creative drinks! The service was excellent! I went for my birthday in November and the bartender made me a special drink. The Ichibod Crane Mule. It was the best mule I have ever had! I'll admit, I have had a few! Ha! That was very special and tasty!This place had a cool vibe to it. A place where you want to go to hang out! They have special events, so stayed tuned!

Stumbled upon this bar while walking around downtown Sanford and so glad I did. The outside and inside was so done up with christmas decorations. Garland strung, several christmas trees all lit, and lots of ornaments. Our party sat at the tables in the front of the bar.We all ordered from the curated christmas cocktail menu. I ordered the peppermint mocha expresso martini and thought it was delicious. The rim was a peppermint marshmallow fluff. We all thought the cocktails were yummy and contained a decent amount of alcohol. The christmas cocktails ranged from $14-$16.The alcohol within the bar isn't the "everyday" brands you may be use to seeing. This is a craft cocktail bar with elevated options. They even allowed us to try the key lime gin that intrigued us. It was quite nice.I am looking forward to visiting again. I would recommend this place for a date night or a classy night out with friends.

New cocktail bar that recently opened up and we had the pleasure of visiting during a friend's bachelorette party. They do have a room in the back that looks like it could accommodate and larger party but other than that the bar is small but very creatively decorated with a fun posh vibe. We ordered several cocktails here (as one does at a bachelorette party) and enjoyed them all. The Cartel Experience is hysterical and a fun experience. What a creative way to present a cocktail! I also really enjoyed the porn star that I tasted and pretty much everything else!The staff there was very friendly and informative and knew a lot about the cocktails, including why they were called what they were. I look forward to going back and tasting some of their other cocktails. At the time that we went, it was drinks only and no food so make sure you prep that belly before you get boozy in there!

The owner, who was also our bartender, was so nice and accommodating. His craft cocktails were great. I liked the ambience of the place. It was warm and inviting. Will definitely be going back!

My husband and I have been there about three times, and find it very cool The Capital Room is of course a bar, but very different from your run of the mill bar. First, the ambiance is very welcoming. They have small tables with these delightful little lamps on them. They DO NOT have any BRAND NAME liquor as in all other bars like Jack Daniels, Tito's, Bombay, etc.; however, they DO have liquor that is as good, if not better than the name brand liquor. The young and handsome bartender, Kaz is a "Flair bartender " who will dazzle you with his many mouthwatering cocktails, and moves behind the bar Just let him know what your favorite liquor is and he can tell you what he can make for you! At the present, they do not serve food. They also have an area that looks like it's built for a DJ and there is a dance floor. You must treat yourself and find out how unique and awesome this place is to share a drink with friends. One last note, if want a specialty cocktail that is delicious and the way it's presented will make your eyes bug out, ask Kaz about his specialty drink called, The Cartel Experience! Skol everyone
