The ambiance is lovely, the service was great. I started with the Petunia Punch which was very intense in flavor, though good. I'd probably go with something more subtle next time.I had the pick 2 combo - chicken salad croissant and lemon Ceasar salad. The sandwich was good, though would have loved a bit more flavor and some Celery for crunch. The chicken salad was a bit dry but the croissant was very good. The Ceasar salad was delicious though I couldn't gaste much of the lemon, and I'd love more of that added. The croutons were inedible as they were too hard to eat. We went with the mint chocolate cake. The cake was very good, but was not impressed with the icing. The cake was lacking in mint flavor. The cake was definitely not worth the hype. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and would like to return again to try more items. The food was better than most disney dining options but left some things to be desired. This will set you back $30+ for a meal. Accessible via ferry boat from swan and dolphin, epcot, and Hollywood Studios. Parking for visitors at the Boardwalk resort is way in the back. Check out the fine art gallery while you're there, amazing stuff.

I had been wanting to try this bake shop and finally got the chance to try it. The Cake Bake Shop is located at the Disney Board Walk Resort just outside of Epcot. The Bakery is sectioned into 2 parts. There's the restaurant where you can dine in and enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, dinner, and dessert. The other section is the grab and go/take out section where you can chose from a wide variety of cakes, pies, cookies, bars, pastries, croissants, truffles, fudge, ice cream, sorbet, and some specialty beverages. My review will be on the grab and go/to go portion of the bakery. As I walked up to the bake shop, I was immediately greeted by staff. The staff were friendly and eager to help. I explained that I was looking for the to go portion of the bakery and I was assured that I was in the right place. I was quickly handed a menu and given recommendations. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. The exterior of the bakery was very clean, polished, and bright. I was not sure what to expect when I walked in but I was pleasantly surprised! The interior was absolutely beautiful! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into an enchanted fairytale garden! I was blown away. But of course it's Disney so I couldn't expect anything less. If I had to rate the bakery just for the ambience, decor, theming and customer service, I would give it a 20 out of 10!! Everything is neatly displayed in cases on both sides of the bakery. I ordered only 2 items. I really wanted to try more but the cake slices are massive and because it's Disney the prices are a little steep. I decided to try the red velvet cake and the magic bar. Just for these 2 items and the additional carry out bag (up charge of $1.99) it was almost $40. The red velvet cake slice was $22.99, the magic bar was $11.99, the souvenir carry out bag was $1.99. The Red Velvet cake was a massive, enough for 2-3 people. It was ok. Not the best red velvet I've ever had but ok. It was a little dry; it could have been more moist and a little more sweet. The magic bar was smaller than the red velvet. It was creamy and rich with chocolate chips and coconut. It was good. The graham cracker bottom was a little too flaky for me so I mainly ate the top. Overall I would have to say that since I only tried 2 desserts I definitely have to visit again and try other desserts. I absolutely loved the ambience of the bake shop just hope I can find a dessert that's just as fantastic.

Finally tried The Cake Bake Shop at Disney's Boardwalk and honestly, some of the cake slices I got were pretty good, despite the major elephant in the room. Here's what we ordered:Gwendolyn's Famous Earl's Court Chocolate CakePixie Fetti Birthday CakeRaspberry Champagne Cake (x2)Oprah's 'O' List Mint Chocolate Chip Cake (gluten free)Rose MacaronChocolate Truffles BoxThe Raspberry Champagne Cake was the best followed by the Mint Chocolate Chip one, especially for being gluten free. Macaron was good but nothing spectacular, but those Chocolate Truffles were insanely good.Total came out to around $180+ and honestly as much as I enjoyed the desserts, the price was a little hard to swallow. But that doesn't mean I won't be back because it was truly a great experience with even friendlier staff. Next up gotta be the pies.

Been wanting to try this place out so we made a reservation on open table and headed over from Epcot. Such a nice place. So different from ESPN. No wonder it took so long to open. So it is so nice inside! Like being at a nice wedding. We didn't have reservations but snagged a seat at the bar pretty quickly. Looking over the menu you notice first the prices. Place is super expensive but everything at Disney is these days. We set about to share a meal and drink some wine. I went ahead and got a bottle as I knew I was going to have at least four glasses. For food we had some soup. GWENDOLYN'S SIGNATURE CHICKEN & ANDOUILLE GUMBO was so delicious. Lots of good sausage and chicken. Deep flavors. Next we had Fried shrimp and remoulade sauce. These were delicious. So many great flavors. I am pretty sure we had something after that but I didn't take a picture. Refer to buying a bottle of wine! Over all an amazing experience with great food and great bartenders. However this will be a splurge stop given the price tag.

My husband and I walked in around 9:30am and asked to be seated at the bar. There were plenty of seats left so we grabbed two and bellied up! The ambiance of this absolutely gorgeous restaurant is enough as is, but then the amazing bartenders greeted us and made the experience all that much better. We only ordered cocktails as we had just came from our breakfast at a different restaurant. I am so glad we decided to pop in!! Although the drinks were spendy, they were so delicious and I feel like we will be adding this as a must stop place next time we visit!

My original thought was "no! It won't be worth it", however, it was so fun and it was worth the hype and exceeded my expectations. BRAVO! We went for late lunch. My food was very good and pricing for main meal was in line with other resort locations. I had the Pick Two and got the chicken salad croissant and blackberry avocado salad. Now one point, the chicken salad didn't have grapes, so missed a point there. Granted I didn't tell our server until I finished the meal - should have mentioned it and he would have corrected that because he was excellent. The salad was delicious. Dessert: GWENDOLYN'S FAMOUS EARL'S COURTCHOCOLATE CAKE - scrumptious and decadent. Yes, costs a lot, but was worth it and it sparkles!!! The tea was overpriced but hey, it's a resort so oh well! Our server, Cam, was on point and he was absolutely the best! We were so fortunate to have him. Saved ambiance for last! WOW! Delivered ambiance in boat loads of sparkles and pink & pretty displays. LOVED THE DECOR!!!! We will be back, maybe for high tea!

Great for a special occasion. We visited for early Valentine's Day. Service is impeccable. Food was excellent also.Pink Princess was my main drink (Shirley Temple), with the L'Oriental tea with dessert. Loved them both.We had the burrata which was superbly seasoned. I just wish the tomatoes were cut finer and there was more bread.I ordered from the pick two, which I picked the turkey and gruyere with the chicken velvet soup. The turkey sandwich was great. We added on some garlic aioli as well. The soup is good. It's pretty much cream of chicken. Though I do wish it was served hotter.I tried a bit of my husband's French onion. I liked it a lot more than the one at Steakhouse 71. I will definitely order this next time.As for the cake... I don't expect a slice of cake to be worth it at this price point. It was a little crumbly and also reminded me of the little bites muffins. I would try a different dessert like the pie next time.People talk about the decor, but they don't mention the display above the gazebo rotates and they have basic animatronics. Loved this!Overall, I do see us coming back to dine in again or pick up desserts from the bakery side.

We are from Indiana, so we've been waiting for this location to open for several years. I had eaten at the Broad Ripple location and it was good, but this was OUTSTANDING! Our server, Matt, was in training, but you couldn't tell! He was so attentive and kind. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and overlooks the water at the Boardwalk. I especially loved the twinkling lights and floral arrangements. We started lunch with cocktails. I had the espresso martini and it was perfect... not too sweet, but just sweet enough. My husband got the Bloody Mary and our daughter had an iced coffee. The coffee wasn't on the menu, but they told us we could order any of the coffees iced. For lunch, my husband and I shared the burger and our daughter ordered the ham and brie with French onion soup (choose 2 special). Everything was delicious. In fact, my husband kept saying that he thought the burger was in his top 5 of all burgers! For dessert, we ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough cake to go! It really didn't make it out of the restaurant though because we couldn't stop eating it. **Just a suggestion, it might be nice if you had a place for customers to store the cake until the end of the day. We almost didn't order dessert because we knew we wouldn't eat it all and didn't want it to go bad while we were in the parks. We could have waited and ordered it directly from the bakery on our way out, but the lines are very long and waiting in another line at the end of a full day of waiting in lines seemed exhausting. Overall, this was an excellent experience!

A MUST-VISIT at Disney BoardWalk! We stumbled upon The Cake Bake Shop via Instagram, and were blown away by the exceptional experience! The food was TO DIE FOR - delicious, generous portions that exceeded our expectations in every way.We ordered the jumbo soup five out of five, I ordered the pink lady Margarita so delicious! For our entrée, we shared the roasted salmon fillet with a side, arugula salad, for dessert we ordered their famous Earls chocolate cake (Phenomenal btw) And their chocolate chip cookie. I will go to sleep dreaming about both! I also ordered a coconut latte, I appreciated that it was not heavily coconut flavor and highly recommend this! Don't let negative reviews deter you - the price was more than reasonable considering the top-notch ingredients, expertly crafted flavors, and unbeatable location. The ambience? Absolutely enchanting! Every corner is picture-perfect, making it a dream spot for photos and relaxation. Our waiter Eman, was super friendly, kind, and helpful, he offered fantastic recommendations that made our experience even more special. Request him every time - you won't regret it. First-time visitors, but we'll be BACK FOR SURE! Don't miss this hidden gem at Disney BoardWalk.

Just had a late lunch at The Cake Bake Shop. I had quiche w/arugula salad, and roasted asparagus. Delicious! Nothing I would change. That was the food, the ambience is a whole other level. It's this wonderful sweet, fantasy setting complete with its own set of characters, a carousel, and the most perfect shade of pink I've ever seen. Let's not forget the service and the amazing bakery/gift shop. A must experience for anyone.I look forward to sharing this newfound gem with my friends.
