This review is mostly based on the poor slow service. We did go on a Sunday afternoon when it was overcast and the temperatures were low outside, so this large indoor & outdoor dining tables were very popular during the lunch hour. Tables were plentiful, but it was hard to find one indoors. The restrooms were small, where there was a constant line out of the women's bathroom. After we ordered from their mobile app (which the employees are always recommending), it said that my food will be ready between 1pm - 1:15pm. I immediately selected that "I've Arrived" on the app, and was waiting for the food to be "Ready" as their next step on their app. I was expecting that my food would be ready sometime near the 1:15pm mark, it instead on their app, it was still on "I've Arrived", but it was way pass 1:30pm and the app was still on the "I've Arrived" on the app. After asking some employees about my order, all they said was that they're really busy today. After a few more minutes of waiting, I decided to just walk over the the mobile pick-up window. That was when I saw my printed order receipt and my other friends' receipt just sitting at their pick-up window. When I notified a worker that my receipt was just sitting there, then the employee started getting my food prepared. I then called my other friends (whom also were waiting for their food) to just come up to the pick-up window; as all of their apps also just showed the "I've Arrived" on their screen too. We used the mobile app at another restaurants at this park before, which worked fine, but it appeared that they didn't do anything to follow up on the customers' mobile ordering for this restaurant. As for the food, it was decent for an amusement park, but if you see this place crowded, it's best to avoid this place! It's not worth the wait nor wasting your time doing the mobile ordering here. We did five separate mobile orders here, and we all had the same experience, and there were other different groups of similar customers that all had the same issues with their mobile ordering during the time frame of 1pm - 1:45pm. I hope your experience was better.

Came here with the family because we were hungry and in the area. The burger/fry/milkshake combo meal seemed to be the best bang for the buck. The burgers were passable. Not the best burgers, but not the worst either. Timing may have been on our side since we got there around 11am and it was not busy at all. Our cashier was nice and explained the difference between combo and platter (platter is food + fries, no milkshake). They have a condiment station with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Plus ketchup, mustard, mayo and utensils and such.I wish we had been able to find a better, less expensive place to snag food... but we wanted to sit and get out of the cold and this is where we ended up.Downstairs is a huge Jurassic Park "welcome center" type thing with interactive displays, baby raptors to see, and a gift shop. Had no idea it was there. Also has a nice exit to go see the Velocicoaster. We've never been on that ride, so we got to see that area. It also has direct routes into Hogsmeade and Seussland.

Freshly heated fast food. Overpriced, but it's Universal. Burgers, veggie burger, chicken sandwich, chicken fingers, fries and onion rings. Lines very slow. Good seating availability inside and out. Hit the spot when starving and AC is a lovely break. Not a place to go out of your way for but solid fast food.My husband said "for what it was, it was thoroughly acceptable."

Why is theme park food so bad!?For $15 you can get yourself a thin, DRY as a dinosaur fossil patty with barely melted cheese, floppy bacon, soggy fries and tomatoes from a wet salad bar that are so thick all you will taste is unseasoned tomato. The service leaves you feeling like you are in a line being led to a slaughter house just to be told everything is extra and nothing is included with a frowning face and attitude that leaves you feeling without a doubt, those employees indeed wish it was a slaughter, and the park goers are the sacrifice. The floors were wet, the tables dirty and the salad bar was so unkept I wondered it it's contents might give me the plague. This place had two good things going for it, a giant T Rex fossil and AC.The only reason these places stay busy is convenience, starvation and needing to get off one's feet.

When you walk in the decor is nice and themed to dinosaurs. You can either mobile order or wait in line to order. If you do decide to eat here which I would NOT recommend, I would suggest mobile ordering to skip the line bc it moves very very slowly. CONS:The menu is extremely limited and the burgers are horrible. They were extremely dry and cold, same with the fries. We were in a group of 8 and everyone's experience was the same. They have a condiment bar which seems very unhygienic since no one is monitoring the area plus post Covid with peoples germs. There were limited on hand sanitizer stations and most of the tables were dirty from the rush and they seemed extremely short staffed. So be prepared to clean your own table because unfortunately they're staff can't keep up due to their short staffing during lunch or dinner rush. I would 100% avoid this place and eat at 3 broomsticks or get auntie Annie's. It's a complete waste of money for $15 a burger. The only good thing was the cookie cake, that was actually decent.

Came to Universal Studios for vacation. For lunch we decided to try The Burger Digs. The line was long but we ordered thru the app which was convenient. The burgers looked great the bread was too thick but soft and the patty needed some seasoning. One strip of bacon on a bacon cheeseburger, the chicken sandwich was just a thin piece of chicken no cheese no lettuce. The cookie brownie were delicious. Overall it bad but not the best.

Pretty good for park quick service! The burgers could use some salt and pepper, but my burger was good and the toppings bar really helps! You can add lettuce tomatoes and pickles, all they were missing were onions. And the restaurant is inside the welcome center of the jurassic Park movieIt's really cool to walk into

Came here with the fam around midday. The line was not horrible, but the card reader was malfunctioning. It took two cards and three swipes before I could successfully pay.We ordered two Bacon Burgers and one Casado Burger. These are hefty burgers -- and they should be, considering they're $15-17 with fries. Pretty decent tasting for theme park food, but nothing to write home about. Thus, three stars.

The burger digs is located inside Universal's Islands of Adventure. You need a park entrance to eat here. It is in the Jurassic Park area. This is your typical theme park food, no better way to say it. It is not our favorite, but we end up here when we are with our friends. Their kids like and are very picky eaters so they can find something here. They do have the mobile order, which you need the Universal App, but I would recommend getting it. The line can be really busy during lunch. What I like about Burger Digs: 1. You can mobile order2. They have a great view or Velocicoaster3. They have lots of seating inside and outside4. They have refillable drink stations5. They have a healthy option such as grilled chicken and a salad6. They have a topping bar with pickles, tomatoes and lettuceWhat I dislike about Burger Digs: 1. The mobile order does not list everything available on the menu, such as chicken tenders. If you want chicken tenders, you have to wait in the long line to order.2. During lunch it can be difficult to find a table, especially for a large group, they also allow you to hold tables while someone else waits in line.3. The drink station always has a long line, and it takes a while to get your drink4. Their menu is limited, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and chicken tenders, that's it! They also do not list the chicken tenders on the menu or the app, you have to know they have them and ask. 5. The salad which comes with chicken is very small portion, one chunk only! 6. I wish their topping bar had more options like years ago7. They are slow! There are tons of people behind the counter, but it takes forever for the food to come out. Why? You have so many team members, there really is not excuse. If you are looking for something to eat while in the park, this is not a terrible place to stop. It has your classic theme park fare, nothing over the top special. But honestly, most of the food at Universal could be much better. They have so much potential to make it better. We go back every time really just because of our friends' children but it wouldn't be my first choice. I love the atmosphere so I really wish it could be improved.
