Bollocks! I can't believe this place has been open 14 years and I have never stopped in. This place has all your favorite English, Irish and Scottish foods along with oodles of tea varieties and butter beer. It is a one story shoppe (no lift) on Mills avenue about a block north of Colonial Drive. This is not a restaurant so there is no loo. I found sports memorabilia for Manchester United football which would be sure to illicit a 'Bloody Hell' from my cousin who is a Rangers fan or the one who is Celtic fan. They even have a Man UTD brolly. The frozen food choices are expansive so if you are utterly knackered and don't feel like cooking. You can pick up some food such as bangers, pasties etc and just heat it up.I used to have my friends and family bring back Radox shower gel when they traveled abroad. Now my friends can tell me to sod off because I can purchase Radox Herbal Bath and Stress relief at the British shop along with another favorite Coleman's Shepard pie mix.The owner was very friendly checking me out. I saw another customer loading up a basket of the frozen items. I found there prices comparable to other import shops in this area. They have lots of cute kitschy items but real food and a lot of items (like their sweets) I can see myself purchasing.I couldn't help myself as I gave a quick little 'Pip Pip' on my way out.

Proper British shop, this. Quaint. Small and unassuming, charming, rich with decidedly British bits and baubles on offer. All sorts of sundries to make any Anglophile smile.Chocolates, tea, pasties, you name it. All things British.

So I just visited London and my wife was in desperate need of a Balti. The search began early this day and I scouted out several British and internatiomal food shops for either a Balti sauce or paste. Yes they carried British food but no Balti. Indian food is especially good in England but the Balti is this Indian fusion dish that every friend of mine in the England loves. When I came into this shop I was greated by the nice man behind the counter and there it was. I collected the sauce as well as some other essentials.I will definately be back.

Love, love, love ethnic grocers and this store certainly has everything British! I'll talk about the extensive merchandise first. Tea pots - all different kinds - as well as tea cups, plates, creamers & tea bag holders. They love their tea you know. There's everything to please the Dr. Who fan, magnets, tins and souvenirs. The food! From what I recall in the refrigerator was a selection of meat pies and a number of banger items. On the shelves were jams & preserves, vegemite, haggis and batters. Then there's the teas. An entire row was dedicated solely for teas that I've never heard of. If you're looking for British food items or merchandise this is definitely the place to come.

My fellow anglophiles, Rejoice. Need to get a teapot with Prince Harry's face all over it? Check! You need your British candy bars and snack fix like Bounty or Aero? Check! Lavendar and Rose infused Biscuits....check..... I love love love the British Shoppe. Went a few weeks ago to get a new teapot and as I walked in Morrissey was on the radio singing a legit cover of back on the chain gang...then I heard an update about London Traffic..yaaaaas....anyway..found my teapot and there are of course some cute royal wedding stuff available for purchase and pretty much a large variety of UK schtuff. The store is small, but also packed full, they use their vertical space well. Please check out this store and save yourself a trip to the Epcot Britain Pavilion.

We need unique shops like this to stay in Orlando! The family who owns it is always friendly and helpful and the selection is great. Yes it's a bit expensive but that's expected - it's a specialty store! Really great for picking up items for an English tea party or British treat. If you haven't had clotted cream before, go to The British Shoppe and buy some!

What a cute little shop! I smiled the entire time looking at all the food--some familiar, like Marmite, which brings back memories of a Canadian roommate of mine who layered it over her burnt toast every morning (after unsuccessfully scraping off the "burnt" on her toast). I'm sorry, but why have burnt toast EVERY morning and complain about it--why not just change the setting to lightly toasted and not burn it?At any rate, I hate Marmite, but it was good to see in the shop none the less. My beloved Wheetabix, frozen steak and kidney pies, Heinz baked beans, and oh, yes, tons and tons of tea.The novelty items like the Union Jack G string, and other undies were just too rich. I mean, you gotta love it! I thought the bulletin board and information for British nationals is such a great idea and hope that this can be a point of connection for British expats that live in the central Florida area.I will definitely be back for more!

I love this little British shop in Longwood. It's great having it so close and the bangers are AMAZING! You cook them but you can't find these in grocery stores. They are so delicious!

Ex-pat living in US for 30 years and used to be a regular customer when the store was on Mills but have not visited for a few years. The new location is hidden away in the corner of run down strip mall in Longwood with no signage so it is very hard to find. Seems to have a reasonable selection of food items and British souvenirs but most items are not priced on the shelves and are very expensive so prepare for sticker shock at checkout time. There are much better options in the greater Orlando area with lower prices or checkout the British food on Amazon or they usually have a small section in Publix. Given the new location and higher than normal prices its unlikely we will shop there again.
