I've been following this business for a while since they were in Avalon park. Once the moved to Oviedo on the Park (Food factory ) I have been very disappointed in the Salsa. I have brought it to their attention very regularly (weekly) as I am a regular of the food factory! Salsa taste more like tomato paste then actual salsa. They did just start making a green salsa that is great! My typical order is the Trio.. this review may sound harsh but I am front Texas & I absolutely know what salsa is suppose to taste like.

With multiple food type choices at The Food Factory, my wife and I agreed upon The 1 Cantina for its taco menu. We chose the Cailuflower Al Pastor and the Steak Fajitas. I decided on the Hibiscus Agua Fresca (free due to a register snafu) as my beverage. The restaurant space itself is smallish due to the open-air set up of The Food Factory with plenty of seating outside underneath the extended roof. Placing an order at the counter, where physical menus are available, was simple with our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We chose outdoor seats this beautiful evening and while we waited for our food, we watched the children playing in the central common area and listened to live music. The place seems very family friendly and festive. Our food arrived and I didn't wait to taste the Cauliflower Al Pastor. The flavors immediately wowed the taste buds! The grilled pineapple along with the achiote marinade are the stars here. Wrapped in a flour tortilla with cilantro and onions, the vegetarian taco rocks! Fresh chips and a green and red salsa were included. The Steak Fajitas were solid and the black beans and rice were a nice addition and tasty on their own (unlike chain Mexican places). The fajitas were so plentiful we took the remainder home. Overall service: I observed that the tables are regularly cleaned. When you order, you'll receive a number holder. The 1 Cantina employees checked in with us a number of times and made sure everything was good. We'd enjoy returning especially to savor the Cauliflower Al Pastor tacos, and enjoy the outdoor setting.

Service was very good and flavors on point. Margarita was delicious! The unfortunate part was we all went to try the Birria and they were out! There's no excuse for not having it!!!! We were the first people I. The place.

Clean restaurant. Friendly servers. Ample menu. Appropriate serving size for the price. From the moment I walked into the restaurant I was greeted and continuously asked if there was anything I needed. Service was completely on point. The reason I gave it a four star instead of a five star is strictly opinion. The salsa did not have a blend or flavor profile that really matched the rest of the food. I feel like it left an odd taste that just tainted the flavor of everything else. Well, they have an extensive drink menu... The drink that I selected was very lackluster. With so many flavors on everything else I was just disappointed in the experience that their beverage option offered. If I were to return, I would try a different beverage to see if perhaps it just happened to be the one I tried that day. Very happy to see a nice selection of mocktails.

This place is so expensive and awful. Have eaten here twice, and both times the food has come out cold and nothing to it. Chicken tacos are basically chicken with no toppings and Corn tortillas come out soggy. And they're cold!! The only redeeming Item is the queso and guacamole. But to get them it's $21 for a trio of dips with chips, which are saturated with oil and inedible. We spent $70 on five cold tacos and chips and dip. That did include tip, but when ordering at the food factory via the QR code, you tip ahead of time. Will not eat here again!! And do not recommend it at all! Cute Atmosphere, but food does not match the pricing in the least!

The first spot I've tried in the foodie factory and what a great start. If the other spots are half as good, I'll be stoked! We decided to sit in the small indoor section. There's maybe 6 tables inside so be prepared to take one of the many outdoor tables. You may need to order using the QR code if you do sit in the outdoor courtyard area-just a heads up. But no matter where you sit, you're in for great food and drinks. After crushing the complimentary chips and salsa, I managed to save enough room for some taco action. I had the cauliflower pastor tacos and was really happy with the vegetarian options. The flavor and spices were amazing! Loved the pineapple salsa topping. A little sweet to go with the savory. My friends had a variety of items including steak tacos and one of the rice bowls. Everyone was impressed. My only teeny tiny suggestion would have been that the cauliflower be chopped up a bit. The pieces were large which made the tacos hard to bite into and rip apart. But I had napkins and inhaled them nonetheless so it's a pretty small gripe in the scheme of things. Just my one suggestion. The service and drinks were every bit as awesome as the food. There's a large drink menu, mostly margaritas but some other cocktails, wine, and beer options. Drinks were basically a steal at only $8 per margarita. It's rare to find a drink in Orlando for only $8 so I happily sipped on a passion fruit margarita with the meal. Definitely on my restaurant roster now but note it's in a pretty loud and energetic area. There was loud music going which did make conversation challenging. If you're looking for a quiet place, skip or save for a different occasion.

This place recently opened as a part of The Food Factory Foodie Collective. You can go right into the micro-restaurant and have a seat at the bar or at a table. Or you can have a seat amongst the dozens of tables that are associated with the rest of the food hall. You can order from your table right through the QR code on the table, but be wary, for that convenience, you'll pay an extra 10% on you bill. Take that or leave it. I saved myself the 10% and just walked up to the order counter and got a buzzer to come fetch my food when it was ready. So what did I order? I got the Flour Quesadilla - Chorizo (Large flour tortilla filled with Mexican blended melted cheese and grilled mashed potatoes. Topped with lettuce, sour cream, and cotija cheese) and the Birria Nachos (Fried tortillas topped with birria, blended cheese, white queso dip, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapenos). The quesadilla was excellent. A decent sized flour tortilla with ooey gooey cheese and plenty of chorizo throughout. These hefty slices of quesadilla stand up to being eaten like slices of pizza. And of course the freshness of the lettuce and salsa help cut through that heaviness. I was a fan. Get this. My main event was the nachos. Man-o-man, what a huge pan of nachos. They are not skimpy on their chips. Or their toppings. Plenty of meat, a huge plop of guac, and an appropriate amount of cheese. A big meal with toppings in pretty much every bite. The only thing is that the layering could have been better. Toppings on top, chips on the bottom. They need to be layered a little better. But hey, that's just nitpicking this overall five star experience. I'm glad this place is open here at OOTP, and I see myself being a frequent flyer here.

Pros:1. The nachos were amazing. Definitely got a ton of that delicious birria, and they weren't skimpy on the cheese at all. 2. Speaking of not being skimpy, they sure plopped the guac on there, too. Usually a premium item. 3. Corn tortillas everywhere, naturally, but their quesadilla is made with flour, which was super big and nice and fluffy.4. A very well built quesadilla. Cheese and delicious chorizo on the inside. Just enough fresh toppings on the outside. Cons: 1. The prices are food hall fair, but seemingly nonsensical. The nachos contained three times more birria and tortilla than the birria tacos, but were the same price. 2. In that same vein, the trip of chips and dips contain just about the same amount of queso and guac as the nachos, but were $1, with no meat. 3. No real cons other than the crazy pricing. Good spot!

Hmmm, really want to support local restaurants buuuut:Chewy chipsGuacamole was so so Flavorless rice - unless cardboard is a flavorMeh service - after food was served, never once asked if we needed anything, did not serve water or ask if we wanted water. Just one napkin had been placed on the table. Yet we tipped as if full service. Guess that should have been after we were served.Definitely need to step it up. Not sure I would return.
