Don't let the outdated design fool you, the authentic taiwanese lunch combos here are to die for. Very interesting way of cooking for the popcorn chicken, generous portions, definitely an unexpected pleasant surprise.

Phenomenal food here.Super authentic Taiwanese cuisine that really takes me back to some hot summer days in Taiwan. The popcorn chicken, was so tender that when I went to readjust my chopsticks, the meat had pulled apart. The fried oyster was equally delicious, and came with a seasoning that pairs wonderfully with the two items. The minced pork rice is a personal favorite of mine. A very simple dish, but holds plenty of flavor. The beef noodle soup was pretty good, the noodles were nice and chewy, and had a rich soup. My only complaint is that the beef was kinda dry, and I needed to drink the soup with it to get it down. But it could've just been and odd batch and doesn't represent the quality of the rest of the food that I ate. 5/5 recommended you try this place out.

This place brings me back to my grandma's Taiwanese cooking! Super authentic and everything is prepared fresh to order. The fried tofu has a side of chili sauce and pickled cabbage on top that went really well with the dish. We also loved the mapo tofu which is a Szechuan style dish. It has soft tofu mixed with pork and a brown sauce with a little bit of spice. Pairs really well with the white rice. Overall, this is definitely the BEST Taiwanese food in the area!

The food is good, except the air conditioning is out of order. The owner apologized for the inconvenience.I recommend take out, instead of dine in, until the a/c is fixed. The food is authentic.

Very sweet ladies that work there, the food was amazing and not too bad in pricing. Prices are around $10-$35. We got the fried rice it was made very fast and delicious and super yummy too tasted fresh. You seat yourself, grab a menu and order once you are ready. There is not ac and feels hot but it was a good place for quick delicious cheap food.

Three cup chicken was great. The rice wine soaked chicken was a bit over on the salty part. Staff super friendly. Would definitely come back and recommend friends to come here for authentic Chinese food.

Highly recommend this authentic Taiwan restaurant. The food are very delicious and the price is reasonable. They have different kind of the food from menu and fresh tea to order. We ordered the rice noddle, 3 cup chicken, tea egg and Taiwanese sausage, they are all very fast delivery to the table . The owner is very friendly and came to our table to check in when us and asked how is the food taste. Definitely will be back to try different kind of the authentic Taiwan food .

It's been a few years since I've visited and assumed the food was the same as before. But that's what I get for assuming. I was looking forward to the sausage, that's was so sweet and savory, super authentic, but I didn't receive any. I ordered takeout and didn't check until I got home, there's my second mistake. I received soggy eggplant, some mystery meat and tofu. I'm so very disappointed. My daughter ordered the chow mein noodles with shrimp, and received the rice. Nothing was what I expected or would enjoy. A waste of money and time because now I'm buying dinner to actually eat after already purchasing dinner. I can't make this stuff up

Teriyaki House, AKA Formosa Garden has pretty decent Taiwanese food. It's not truly authentic, but it's close enough and hits the spot. They are still take out only at this point. All the food are fresh made to order. Their squid soup and hot and sour soup are delicious. Their crispy tofu is like "stinky tofu" without the stink, seasoned with with garlic chili sauce with a side of picked cabbage. Minced pork over rice is wonderful if you are looking for old fashioned comfort food. If you're in the mood for salt and pepper chicken, or beef noodle soup, they are decent but better examples may be found at other Taiwanese restaurants in the area.
