Excellent food and solid service. The chicken soup is refreshing. They have a great lunch special as well. An app, a dish, and a soft drink.

Quite frankly, it has been difficult to find a good restaurant here in Orlando. Let's face it, the chance of a person coming back is small. Tourists with kids and the bar is not high for service or food quality. We had walked in an out of a couple places the past couple of days. And we walked into this place and I almost walked out. To be honest, I smelled mold as soon as I walked in. My wife was starving and and begged we stay. She had the anticucho appetizer and it was very big. I had the pescado a lo macho and it was a huge portion also. Mine was excellent and I had enough for lunch the next day. We had chicha morada for drinks and it was fresh as well. I would recommend that they address the mold smell but the food was delicious

Over priced and not what we thought !! Food was more like lower end restaurant. Food did not have flavor. We hate to be negative . We made a big deal about this place to have everyone with us leave disappointed.

Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with 5 Stars for truly authentic Peruvian food that attracts Peruanos in the area because it is a taste of home!OK, so, I am biased being a Peruana, but Peruvian food is having a global MOMENT because it's the best cuisine in the world. Don't @ me, legitimately 2023 saw the #1 restaurant in the world declared as a Peruvian restaurant!OK, rant and disclosure of bias is done. Recently I stopped by Taste of Peru with a girlfriend because I saw how well reviewed it was. As a paisana, I had to check it out.first thing's first, this is not a high-end joint. It's small and humble in appearance, but decorated with photos and art that makes you yearn to visit Peru. With that being said, the flavors hit all the marks. We ordered:- Tallarín verde con pollo a la parrilla- My girlfriend loves a noodle dish and this was a BIG BOY. Yes, reviewers are correct, the portions are generous. I think I converted her and now she sees the light (that Peruvian food is *chef's kiss")- Lomo saltado: OK well, duh. When at a Peruvian restaurant, you must order the lomo saltado. This is steak strips marinated and served with a tomato and red onion sauce, over rice, WITH FRIES. YUP. It's not an easy dish to get right, as the steak needs to be tender and the fries should be fresh so they soak in the juices. Taste of Peru nailed it. - Papa a la huancaina: My pro-tip? Order this as a starter every time. This potato and cheese sauce is the perfect beginning to any meal. Share her and fight over the olives. Overall, an A for this legit spot. Look forward to returning!

Great food, fast service, and great lunch special! For $13, get an app, an entree, and a drink! Can't beat the price and quality with it. For my app, I got a salad. But I really had my eye on the Peruvian soup that my coworkers got. It smelled amazing and secretly wish I ordered it I ordered the Pollo Saltado - which is essentially stir fried chicken toss with fries, and served with rice! It's a great portion size (especially for lunch) and loved the flavor of the chicken and veggies!A friend of mind recommended the Chicha Morada drink (non-alcoholic) and it was refreshing and unique! It reminded me of a sangria without the alcohol, fruity and sweet!Definitely give this place a go for a quick & tasty dining option!

This is my first time trying Peruvian food and honestly I'm impressed. Although, had a friend when I was younger whose mom would make Papa a la Huancaina and, of course, I had to order them as an appetizer. I wish the cheese sauce was a little warmer and maybe a little bit spicier, perhaps a kick, but that's my preference. Still yummy! Of course I had to order the Lomo Saltado and the meat was very tasty and tender. The rice was yummy as well as the French fries with the tomatoes. My hubby had churrasco a la caribeña and he was pleased as well.I couldn't leave without a coconut lemonade which was creamy and refreshing.

I had Chaufa de mariscos which was good. The Leche de tigre, however, was out of this world. It was absolutely delicious. And paired with an Inca Kola, it made for a great dinner. Food was so good I didn't really pay much attention to the ambiance. Service was great too. Very friendly staff.

For real. Best Peruvian food we've had in a long while. The lomo and pollo soltado were KILLER. Service with a smile and everything was truly perfect. I just wish we had one close by in Maine!!

We are a family of 4, we come to Orlando almost every year. I like to find a out of the way restaurant to eat at as they seem to be better than the commercialized eateries on I-drive. When I tell you the TASTE OF PERU was the best, we are definitely going back. Very reasonable price wise and the portion was huge. The skirt steak melted in your mouth and the seafood fried rice was seasoned to perfection, with tons of seafood in it. Try this place you will not be disappointed. Sherrie G. SarasotaFl.
