I had been looking for a restaurant that had - as I called it - cheese wheel pasta (aka - pasta alla routa). I looked up "cheese wheel pasta" and came across Tartini and they definitely exceeded my expectations.Tartini is a free-standing restaurant within feet of a strip of businesses off of Orange Avenue, south of downtown Orlando (it's among a string of used car businesses). Although the parking lot is small, my husband and I didn't struggle to find a spot.Upon entering Tartini, you are warmly greeted. They have outdoor seating as well as table and booth indoor seating. My husband and I began our meal with the fried burrata. The dish came with homemade focaccia bread and was creamy goodness. For our entrees, I - of course - ordered the pasta alla routa and a "side" order of chicken Parmesan. To enhance the dining experience, Tartini has a robot that brings out some of your dishes. I named him "Frank" and I loved him! For my beloved cheese wheel pasta, they dim the lights for the table side creation of the pasta alla routa, during which bourbon is set on fire to melt the cheese before the pasta is folded in. Our server allowed my husband and I to try some of the Parmesan cheese before it was melted - it was delicious fresh and melted! The final product was heavenly! And the "side" of chicken Parmesan was larger than me head (and I have a big head!). Besides the gargantuan size, it was one of the most delicious chicken Parmesan's I've ever had! My husband chose lasagna for his entree and loved it so much, that he exclaimed, "This is what I'll measure all other lasagnas against."Even though we were both full (and had full "to go" containers), we wanted to try dessert, so we ordered the limoncello cake and were excited to see "Frank" bring it out shortly.I cannot give our dining experience enough praise and we will definitely be back!

Tartini Pizzeria and Spaghetteria is an excellent spot for delicious Italian fare. Their lasagna is massive, packed with layers of flavor, and truly satisfying--perfect for anyone with a big appetite! But my personal favorite is the salmon piccata. The salmon is perfectly cooked, with a light, tangy lemon caper sauce that elevates the dish beautifully. The service is very attentive, and the staff goes out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect place for a relaxed meal. Whether you're in the mood for pasta, pizza, or seafood, This place delivers high-quality meals every time. I highly recommend stopping by!

I love coming here. Although prices are too high for my liking, but I've always had great service. I've yet to try their pizza. I like to come for drinks and pasta!

We were visiting Orlando for my daughter's birthday and she really wanted to try pasta made in a cheese wheel...we found this place and wow! What a treat! The food was delicious, servings enormous, service was great! The only downfall was parking but even that was ok...will definitely be back!

Vibes in this spot were amazing, took my lady for date night and we loved everything about it. She got the cheese wheel pasta and I got the baked ziti but the highlight was probably the humongous garlic knots

A group of friends and I came here for a celebratory dinner to try their pasta made in the wheel of parm, and it didn't disappoint! The staff was fantastic (and patient with us as we filmed the whole experience) and the food was excellent. Everything was delicious, and though most of us in the group got the Pasta alla Ruota, the seafood and chicken Parm dishes other in the group got were also great! The portions were so large and left plenty for lunch the next day, and we all sampled each other's and loved every dish. Reservations were easy, the ambience perfect for a nicer dinner out to celebrate but without being too stuffy, and we had an excellent experience. The location is outside the main tourist areas, so I'm hopeful locals provide strong support to keep such a great establishment going!

@tartinipizzeria A little Italy in Orlando!! With dishes that goes from oven wood-fired pizza , pasta that is made in house on a cheese wheel , with a very creamy sauce, sangria that is their own recipe, and so many more surprises!! Love the ambiance ,the food and the service. With a very unique story this couple and his brother have made Tartini a staple in Orlando for Italian cuisine.@tartinipizzeria ¡¡Un poco de Italia en Orlando!!

I cannot express what a great find TARTINI is! My friends and I went out for a group dinner and were left stuffed and happy. Danielle, our server, was beyond accommodating and patient. We are so lucky to have had her! We grabbed two order of the knots for the table. Let me tell you, they are the size of a baked potato. SO GOOD! We also shared pizzas as apps. As usual, we over ordered. Pizzas were crisp and cheesy. Would recommend and would order take out in a heart beat. For dinner, I had the cheese wheel pasta (love a show). My husband had the bolognese (very popular). My friends had the clam pasta (great cream sauce), carbonara (another classic) and yet another pizza. Because we weren't completely disgusted with ourselves, we ordered desserts. I had the tiramisu, my friend had the limoncello cake, and for the table the donuts. Holy smokes. All homemade and all recommended but those donuts were hot and fresh. Everyone loves a fresh donut. Needless to say, we're coming back and soon!!

Visited TARTINI Pizzeria and Spaghetteria for Valentine's Day. The ambience and service were great, but the food was disappointing. We ordered garlic knots ($18), which were just average, and they were delivered by a robot, which felt impersonal. Both my girlfriend and I got chicken fettuccine Alfredo, but the chicken was mushy and tasted off. We ended up just eating the pasta and leaving the chicken aside, but after that, I wasn't confident in the food quality.Spent $100+ on appetizers and a main dish disappointment--not coming back.

This is a quaint little place and there are definitely some good things but the bad far outweighed the good. Before we even made it in I already had anxiety. They have a tiny parking lot they share with other businesses. There are "Tow Away Zone" signs everywhere within a reasonable walk. Would they be enforced? I don't know but one parking area appeared to be right in front of a towing companies lot. I think towing companies are predatory and just looking for an excuse so the entire meal I was worried my car wouldn't be there when we got back. I understand Tartini can't do much about parking but I was still nervous and it does still take away from the experience. The decor is a bit...odd. Part cozy Italian dining, part sports bar. They don't have a full bar, beer and wine only. The wine selection was a bit scant but they did have an ok variety of beers. The waitress did a fine job although we did have to ask for water several times. Otherwise she was friendly, attentive and accurate. I should also mention we were early for our rez but got seated right away however the food all came out very quickly. We barely had time to finish one course before the next was being served. We had the fried burrata as an app. I had never had burrata fried and it was good. Maybe a bit more sauce but I think I'm only saying that because the kids stole most of it. I had a house salad. Not very impressive. Lettuce, onion, tomatoes, onion, olives and some more onion for good measure. Nothing special about it. The kids had pasta with alfredo sauce. They were large portions for kids and could have used more sauce. Kids like sauce. We brought the leftovers home and I'll whip up a quick alfredo to go with it. These came out very quickly and that we didn't mind. Our kids are relatively patient but I understand a lot of people are eager to get their kids eating so I viewed this as a positive. My wife and I both had the ruota. Great presentation. OK on the flavor. I had to salt mine quite a bit. The pasta was cooked perfectly though. We got some grilled chicken to add to it and one order was plenty for both of us. We finished up with a brownie and ice cream. I know, not exactly an Italian specialty but the kids ate good so they got to pick. Nice sized portion that can easily be shared. They also have a robot food runner which my kids thought was super cool. I think the biggest turnoff was the price. 3 beers, one wine, app, salad, 2 kid pasta's, 2 of the ruota and the dessert was over $250 before the tip. Overall everything was fine and if not for the parking and price it would be an above average place, maybe 3.5 stars that I would round up to 4. But those two things significantly detracted from the experience. We don't go out much so I would probably pass next time and try somewhere else.
